The best room in Italy I have ever lived! Lavinia and Riccardo are really nice, kind, zealous and friendly! They gave us the best service! Also, breakfast is nice, especially cookies! You won't regret it if you live there! Anyway, I will live there every time in Florence afterwards.

Simona was so great, and the bed and breakfast were wonderful! Highly recommend if you're looking for a clean and friendly place!

The stay was very pleasant. Marisa explained everything to us. We got a private bathroom, which was a small surprise for us. After checkout, we were able to leave our bags for further exploration of the city.

You should know: There is some difficulties with the wifi reception in the rooms. it works well in the living room. It is a big old house so it may have smells of dampness a bit.

Excellent place, very good breakfast, Mario and the whole team are excellent hosts, there are places nearby to eat and bars, until late, the area is safe for walking at night. Just keep in mind that there is no elevator, if you have heavy luggage

Definitely the best place to stay in Florence. Rooms are very clean and beautiful and close to everything you need to see in Florence. Host is so kind and pay attentions to your needs in intents to make your stay as good as possible. We recommend this place at 200% !!!

Overall it was really nice. I would have preferred to stay on other rooms of the villa but they were all already booked. This room in particular was not of our taste. Perhaps you like it!

Easy to access location, good and clean rooms, with dryer in the bathroom, hot water, bed well ok. Hostel structure very good. They perform various activities, welcome drink and pasta at night for guests free of charge. It is worth remember: they only provide towel by means of rent.

It is well related to the cost, good atmosphere.

Walkable distance to everything, great for young tourists who want to feel safe as it’s a lot of other tourists staying there. Great price

This was a great location and the room was fantastic! The hot tub on the roof was worth the ‘price of admission’ especially with the view available! I’d recommend doing it at sunset if you can! Within walking distance of all major tourist sites and had parking available if you rent a car. Room was nice and I could walk to the roundabout nearby for a small breakfast and large lunch and dinner!

The road for the last 5 kilometers to the villa is uphill on a narrow path. It is not recommended to drive at night.

Definitely a must especially if you are traveling solo. You’ll get to meet a lot of friends. The hostel is also near the station.

Our stay at Palazzina Maresa was perfect. The palazzina has been completely gut-renovated into several distinct vacation rental apartments, each uniquely styled by a different designer. This particular unit suited our tastes perfectly, with stunning high ceilings, beautiful metallic Venetian plaster, and brand-new everything! It was silent at night, and the Porta Romana neighborhood is one of the most desirable in Florence—home to affluent residents and pleasantly removed from the sometimes overwhelming tourist crowds and group tours, yet still within easy walking distance of Florence’s magnificent sights. If you plan keep up your fitness while away from home, know that one of the very few gyms in Florence is steps from this apartment. Marta took wonderful care of us and was always accessible throughout our stay. If you’re lucky enough to find availability at Palazzina Maresa, book it now!
