Spacious, freshly appointed appartment, literally a few steps from the beach stairs, go for a swim with the kids before breakfast! Private villa-like entry with own terrace and barbecue. Secluded area but easy acess to food market and other stores. The months of Abril, May , September and October in Algarve are usually very pleasants and people can enjoy the beach very much and all the trips that just close an agency can offer you. Fantastic place, we'll be raving about this for a long time! Fabulous location..it's on a beautiful square in Old Town so very convenient to all restaurants etc, but still a quiet spot away from foot traffic. Yes there's building work nearby (mentioned in another review), but it didn't impact our enjoyment at all :) The airbnb is serviced, so a great mix of hotel/ apartment. It has the friendly staff, attentive service and convenient access of a hotel, whilst still offering a very private, great sized and really comfortable apartment. Such a great concept: I wish all airbnbs worked like this! The decor was gorgeous and brilliant furniture and appliances: there was a great attention to detail throughout and we immediately felt at home. Also a really comfy bed and wonderful shower! Can't recommend enough, we will definitely stay here again!! PS we parked in the free car park 5 mins walk from the apartment just outside the city gates, which was also very convenient :)

It was a pleasure to stay at Bento's place. The view is stunning, wide open with the sea far away on one side and the pool nearby on the other side. The balcony is a perfect place for a drink in the afternoon to enjoy the sunset. The apartment is quite comfortable, it is extremely well decorated and well equipped. Looking forward to my next stay in this beautiful apartment.

Fabulous house for a group or large family. Everything is so beautifully done and Melina is obviously an interior decorator because the small things mattered. Same single problem as every other reviewer is "the bells" {of the church, Igrela de Mexilhoeira} but Melina cannot do anything about that. Great accommodation, great location, great hostess.

There is nothing but praise and gratitude to Kathleen and Manuel for being such amazing hosts. The property exceeded expectations, and we found everything to be as described perfectly according to the description. We didn't have a car, but used uber/taxis to carvoeiro and local areas such as Estombar and Benagil. The local intermarche supermarket was only a 10 walk away, and I'd compare it to Asda in UK. Plenty of choice, easy to find what you need, but do not buy imported English goods unless absolutely necessary because they're extremely overpriced (just some helpful advice) Kathleen and Manuel have 2 dogs. Millie and Max. We absolutely fell in love with Millie especially 😍 please give her attention if you love dogs and Sat by the pool, she's so friendly and super intelligent. The attention to detail in everything about the property was perfect for our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 9. We'd absolutely recommend this property and hosts to anyone.

Had a great stay here. Very nice apartment where you immediately feel at home. Wonderful to have breakfast on the roof terrace and enjoy the beautiful view. Nice bed and nice shower. 5-10 minutes walk and you are already downtown. I would rather use a filter coffee maker than a machine with cups, but that's personal. Highly recommended!

We had nice 3 days in Casa Carmen with kids. We enjoyed tenis and BBQ. Everything was clean and as described. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. For the location you need a car, access road a little bumpy but still close to everything a short drive to beach and center. Tunje was very fast in response and very kind! Thank you!

We had a lovely time in Casa dos Arcos. The house and the garden had everything we needed. We stayed for three months (Jan - Apr) and it was the perfect place to spend this period. There were some challenges concerning the humidity (it was the rainiest season in 20 years) but Nicolas provided immediate solutions and kept thinking along with us. Our three boys (8, 6 and 3) go to a school only 7 minutes away, so this house was at a perfect location, with quite surroundings and a stunning view that we enjoyed every day. We really hope to come back here. Thank you for everything!

Great hosting from Marjura, the apartment is spacious, kitchen has everything you need, bedrooms are good with comfortable beds, location wise the apartment is within easy walking distance to the supermarket, restaurants and a pub near by, train station is handy as well 5 minute walk from the apartment.
