Villa Mariana is a gem of a place, with the most fabulous and genuine owners that made our stay so welcome and enjoyable. We chatted to them, and enjoyed the stories of years gone by in the real Portugal. We also found out that Jose, Pedro's father, was a very talented artist with drawings and painting going back decades. The big highlight of our stay was the wonderful swimming pool, which we had exclusive use of. Sun loungers and a Gazebo to sit around the pool and have a cold beer or wine were very welcome too. We found that getting from Faro airport to Villa Mariana, was a small challenge, as Uber didn't recognise the address that we got from Pedro. So we took a Taxi to the Lidl supermarket at Sao Bras, where Pedro then picked us up in his car. This worked very well, but if Pedro is not there you will need to have a clear address, and take a taxi. Also, trying to get an Uber from Villa Mariana is impossible, so stick to genuine Taxis that are very good value. We had a great time !!

The house to disengage, in simplicity, refreshing. It is very well equipped with dishes, linens, we have the impression of arriving at friends who have left everything available. The big plus is this beautiful beach 2 steps away . It just went too fast

Very comfortable. As described, it does not have a kitchen but has a toaster, kettle and kitchenware, as well as a drainer. We have two little ones and they were delighted. Tiago is very attentive and kind.

The villa corresponds exactly to the pictures – beautiful and very well maintained. We were particularly enthusiastic about the fantastic view of the mountains and the wonderful pool, ideal for cooling off. The beach can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes, by car it takes a few minutes. Communication was always quick and helpful, check-in worked smoothly even at 2 am. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

It's a wonderful house. It is very well located. It has everything to enjoy it. Too bad the deal is simply business. Check-out time was 12 noon, we asked to extend it a little, and for this we had to pay a disproportionate amount for 5 more hours, all by message. Airbnb should regulate that anyway. Since we were going with a baby, and we had a very late flight, we had to do it. This is the first time this has happened to us without anyone checking in the next day (we know because as soon as we paid there were no problems). Of course, it's not mandatory, it's a courtesy, and other times we haven't needed it, or we haven't asked for it. They made a serious mistake by telling us that breakfast was included, and when we went, they told us that they had made a mistake. And that everyone makes mistakes. Either way, the house is wonderful. Perfect to spend a few great days.

This charming house is located in a huge (!) private area, so that no street noise penetrates the house. Henrique is a very relaxed and extremely likeable host. My expectations were actually exceeded on site by the exact description. There is a very spacious outdoor area and inside everything is lovingly and unconventionally furnished. I enjoyed my stay to the fullest.

We had a great stay, it’s a great place for peaceful relaxation. Plenty of outdoor space and the pool is great to cool off in.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The absolutely stunning sea view is breathtaking, and the long sandy beach just across the street made it easy to enjoy the seaside every day. The location is fantastic—full of great restaurants and even places to rent bikes, so you can easily explore the beautiful coastline on two wheels. The apartment itself is clean, fresh, and modern, with all the kitchen appliances you need to cook comfortably. The bed is really comfy, and I loved that there were some books and even table games available for relaxing evenings in. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable seaside getaway!

Lovely place in the heart of Faro. Good facilities at the price point. Would visit again. Pedro is fast at replying and very helpful.

Everything was fine. The only downside was that we were never able to connect to the home WiFi. Otherwise clean and close to the city with free parking in the surrounding area

We spent our vacation in this great beach apartment for the 2nd time and enjoyed Mark's hospitality. The apartment is perfect for our needs: On the one hand, this wonderful Praia da Falesia is "on the doorstep", on the other hand, you can quickly reach the west and east of Portugal by car to discover other beautiful places in the Algarve. Bars, restaurants and supermarkets are in the immediate vicinity and there is also an excellent cocktail bar with tapas to end a nice summer evening. We will be happy to come back.

We loved this place! Fernando was very communicative and friendly, and his mother Isabel, was so sweet, very welcoming, and she explained important details of where to find different things. The apartment has a well-stocked kitchen and is both spacious and cozy, so you immediately feel right at home. The location is perfect; it’s on a charming, quiet little street in old town Tavira, and you can easily walk to nice restaurants, key sights, and explore the town from the apartment. Thank you Fernando and Isabel – hope to stay at your place again!!!

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed at many Airbnb apartments over the years and I have never experienced the professionalism, adaptability and helpfulness of our host Hélia. In addition, The apartment was absolutely beautiful with all the amenities and the extra touches of bottle of wine, water and tray of snacks are what makes this such a unique experience. I am not surprised that this apartment is always booked. Thank you

Fabulous Penthouse apartment, so very close to the beach and restaurants. Perfect location. Elisa, our host was super attentive, providing all the information we needed to ensure that our short break was a peaceful and relaxing experience. We had an early flight into Faro so Elisa arranged our transport ( Carlos was brilliant) and let us drop our bags off so we could get some lunch without the bother of dragging cases around. Elisa then messaged us at 1pm saying we could get in early as the penthouse was ready. During our stay Elisa made light touches to check that everything was ok which was most welcomed. A perfect host. Highly recommended.

Carlota’s place is located in amazing Villa with beautiful surroundings! Amazing beaches to get to and her local recommendations were excellent ! The pool was great but unfortunately due to the weather it was a bit too cold to use and shower facilities were under construction. The only downside is the bed option, as described from the picture, the main bedroom is with 2 twin beds and a sofa bed. One big bed would’ve been more comfortable but breathtakingly beautiful view makes everything ok. We had some issue with laundry machine as it wasn’t in a good condition but we cleaned it and bought strong scent laundry detergent made it usable again! Wonderful memories from the beautiful landscape and activities and especial thanks to warm and heart full neighbor downstairs! Thank you again and it was a pleasant stay!

Really enjoyed staying here. it's a beautiful colourful clean perfect place to stay and everywhere in Tavira is just a walk away Hosts are very friendly.

This Air Bnb view was beyond stunning, and the location was great - it was a quick drive to Old Town Albufeira and some beautiful beaches! It had lots of parking around the property which was convenient. Additionally, the host Galyna, was kind and an amazing communicator and always responded fast if we needed support. Would stay here again!

The apartment is immaculate and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It’s the second time we have stayed at one of Willem’s apartments and he is an excellent reliable host. Highly recommend! The town of Carvoeiro allows access to a multitude of good restaurants and the walks along the cliffs are spectacular.
