I can say enough about his beautiful Airbnb. My husband and I stayed for four nights, and Alistair and Maria were the most gracious hosts. From start to finish we felt welcomed and cared for, and the cottage itself - not to mention the grounds - was simply gorgeous. Nestled in the little town of Macciano, the cottage has great proximity to so many beautiful towns, attractions, and restaurants. We took multiple little day trips and were able to cover a lot of ground, and still be home in time for a dip in the pool and a glass of Prosecco with our charming hosts. Maria even offered to cook with me one night, and I had the opportunity to learn about the local fare, all lovingly made from scratch by Maria. This is a very, very special place filled with beauty and tranquility. We can't wait to go back!!

Wir haben die schöne Unterkunft und den großen, grünen Außenbereich sehr genossen. Die Aussicht auf den See ist umwerfend und man kann ungestört seinen Urlaub verbringen, da es keine direkten Nachbarn gibt. Die Casetta ist gut ausgestattet mit allen nötigen Utensilien, die man für den täglichen Bedarf benötigt. Frühstück oder Mittagessen haben wir immer gern auf der angrenzenden Terrasse unter dem schönen Blauregen genossen. Man sollte Essen allerdings nicht offen herumstehen lassen, da es Ameisen gibt. Im nicht weit entfernten Dorf hat man verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder Restaurantoptionen, und auch andere Orte sind gut und schnell erreichbar durch die nahe Anbindung zur Autobahn. Ein Höhepunkt des Urlaubs war Luigiana, die uns nicht nur sehr herzlich bei unserer Ankunft empfing, sondern während unseres ganzen Aufenthalts immer erreichbar war. Sie hat immer schnell reagiert, wenn man eine Frage oder ein Problem hatte. Außerdem hat sie sehr leckeres Olivenöl. Danke für alles!

Our stay with Sheila and Silvia was fantastic! They were terrific hosts, and the property exceeded our expectations with its beauty and impeccable cleanliness. We opted for extra meals and a cooking class, and everything was outstanding. Silvia is an incredible chef, and the dinners she prepared were some of our best meals during our trip to Italy. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed for cooking. The property offers stunning views, nestled in the hills about a 20-25 minute drive from Cortona via scenic, winding roads, so having a car is essential. There’s so much to explore within a 30-minute to 2-hour drive, from lakeside towns and wine tastings to thermal baths, spas, charming medieval villages, and plenty of Michelin-starred restaurants. I highly recommend booking here for a relaxing, delicious, and comfortable getaway.

Gabriele è stato un host accogliente e disponibile. L'appartamento è pulito, semplice ed attrezzato di tutto, con una splendida vista fronte lago. E che dire dell'isola... un posto magico dove le giornate sono scandite dai suoni della natura. Ci abbiamo passato una sola notte ma è diventato subito un posto del cuore...grazie!

This was a truly authentic experience. Our host was so responsive and attentive to our needs. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and olive oil. And the passion our host has for his property is inspiring. We felt so welcomed and really enjoyed our stay. We truly felt like family! This region of Italy is particularly beautiful and the town of Cortona was charming.

Casa muy hermosa, ubicada en un lugar bastante tranquilo. La Sra Dina muy amable todo el tiempo y a pesar de que solamente habla italiano, hizo su mejor esfuerzo para que nos pudiéramos comunicar.

Comfortable month-long stay in a well-equipped home with great amenities: super comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, and thoughtful extras like candles, bug sprays, cleaning products. The space has genuine character – clean but slightly cluttered, with an older interior showing some wear. Bathrooms need renovation, but overall a good stay with potential for an even better experience. Great and clean towels, bed linens, nice pillows. It is a beautiful area, there are kind neighbors, and there is a very nice and sunny terrace with a lot of seating space and furniture. It is charming, old Italian house :) thanks for hosting us!

Die Gegend ist wunderschön Wir waren zur Zeit von Ferragosto da,14 Tage. Fast jeden Abend war irgendwo im Dorf was los. Es ist Tagsüber sehr ruhig. Im Trasimenosee Baden würde ich nicht empfehlen, aber das wussten wir im Voraus. Wir haben die große Terrasse genossen. Es führt eine Straße am Haus vorbei. Trotzdem ist es Nachts sehr ruhig. Man schläft sehr gut auch wegen dem guten Bett. Im Dorf gibt es ein kleinen Süßen Laden zum Einkaufen von Lebensmittel und Dingen des täglich Bedarfs. Er ist zu Fuß nur 5 min entfernt. Weiter unten gibt es Supermärkte. Tuoro ist klein, fernab vom Massentourismus. Wir haben jeden Tag genossen. Ein Auto ist praktisch um zu Sehenswürdigkeiten zu kommen. Gibt aber auch Busverbindungen und auch Im Nachbarort einen Bahnhof. Nette Restaurants und auch Bars. Wenig aber gut und fein. Es ist ein Ort zum entschleunigen. Die Wohnung ist mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Collin ist sehr hilfsbereit. Alles in allem, es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub.
