You will find lots of amenities for an enjoyable stay, while allowing the opportunity to unwind and relax. There is fast wifi (200 Mbps) if you need to stay connected.

Bedrooms include white noise machines and earplugs to help with normal traffic during commute hours on our scenic road. This cozy 928 sq ft A-frame is located on wooded property at the foothills of Mt. Hood National forest near Sandy River. Perfect for a solo getaway, a couple’s retreat, or a small family escape. Skiing/snowboarding is 20-30 mins away. Sandy Ridge mnt biking - 5 mins away. Lots of hiking around.

Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.

The Woodlands House

The Woodlands House sits on five acres of an old growth private forest. The home itself is a beautiful 4 bedroom home with two outdoor decks surrounded by towering pine trees. It's the perfect place to get out of the city and disconnect in nature, or to use as your base for all the PNW adventures. It's a quick 30 min drive to Mount hood or the entrance to the Colombia Gorge, and only 45 min from PDX Airport.

Our mountain cabin is the perfect getaway whether snow or sun! This two story, two bedroom cabin is great for couples, families or small groups. Updated and well stocked, with a gorgeous view of the Sandy River. Sorry, we no longer allow pets due to an unfortunate incident with a pup, but we do have our own dogs at the cabin from time to time if you are super sensitive to pet hair.
