Vacation rentals with beach access in San Sebastián de La Gomera

I cannot overstate how lovely my stay was in this apartment, the terrace was beautiful, with an incredible view. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathroom was spotless, and the apartment is within walking distance of everything you could need in San Sebastián. Roland took care to record an incredible helpful video, which I went back to for any questions I could have, from how to turn the BBQ on, to how to open the shutters. I felt at home and very lucky to have stayed there for the week, and I enjoyed the peace of San Sebastián, with easy hikes and the beach only a few minutes walk away.

The apartment is exceptionally well equipped, super clean and tastefully decorated. The highlight is the sea view: You can watch the sunset from the sofa! The sound of the sea is omnipresent due to the proximity and can be heard even with closed windows and doors. We thought it was great. We will be happy to come back!

A really pleasant stay! Maisu and Vicente were very attentive from the months leading up to my booking. Upon arriving at the residence I met Maisu, who very kindly greeted me. Vicente came later to check in and take my information. The apartment is very well equipped and in a very good location for hiking or trail running enthusiasts. Hosts Maisu and Vicente really made me feel right at home! I asked Vicente if there was a bar or restaurant where I could watch a soccer game that interested me. Without hesitation, he told me that he himself was seeing it and invited me to his living room to see it with him. Quite an experience! The only thing I regret is not having stayed longer! This will be my accommodation option if I come back to La Gomera someday. Totally recommended!

I felt very comfortable in the apartment! It is very well equipped, especially in the kitchen everything important is available (even coffee machine and kettle) and also broom and dustpan to sweep away the sand that you of course bring into the apartment😀. fridge and also small freezer is available and I found the bed very comfortable! The location was perfect for me, 2 min walk to the Playa, 10 min to Playa del Ingles. Right around the corner is the Spar, a bakery, a laundry and many great restaurants. In the evening, there are drummers or other street musicians right there on the beach. Nevertheless, the location is very quiet because the apartment is located on the outskirts of the village, directly on the mountain. From the rooftop terrace you have sea views and sunset! The Casa Maria bus stop is only a 5-minute walk. perfect location, quiet but everything is super close! highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Thomas's! The place is in a beautiful and quiet location in the valley just off San Sebastian. We didn't miss anything in terms of amenities, it's nicely and simply furnished and everything necessary was available. We were looking forward to the fireplace when we booked, but it was currently unusable - maybe next time :) we will be happy to come back on our next visit to La Gomera!

Excellent accommodation with a lot of thought and detail included. Great location near to all amenities. Good hosts. Restaurants get book up so booking essential but good facilities for eating in.

We were lucky to stay in Diane’s house for 4 weeks. There were 6 of us and the place was spacious enough. The location is just perfect, beautiful sunsets every day, very green with the view of the sea and palmtrees. We appreciated the dishwasher and the washing machine, for a long stay with a big family it was very practical. The village of Calera is also the best location, you can walk down to the beach but it is quite and picturesque and on the way to several hiking paths. The house is tastefully decorated, everything we needed was there and was clean and well organized. We would love to return to this wonderful place!

Dream apartment in a dream location! We are distributed, nourished by volcanic energies and ocean swell, not to mention the delicious fish served at the restaurant below. Recommended!!

Lovely little house, well flowered, pleasant terrace and very nice view. Quiet. To recommend.

We enjoyed the time at the Palomerahaus. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back. We had all 3 apartments to ourselves and enjoyed the meals together on the large terrace. The communication went smoothly and even when we arrived very late, we were warmly welcomed. The Palomerahaus has a good starting point for walks to the harbor or the beaches, the small supermarket around the corner also has the essentials to take care of yourself.

Had a lovely time here! The house is well furnished and was very clean! The view of mountains, palm trees and the (partially covered by plants) sea was magnificent ! Unfortunately, the living area is quite dark so that you have to turn on the light even during the day when the front door is closed! Otherwise, feel free to come back !

Vacationing with the Ossorio family in the small village of Alojera on La Gomera is something very special. This vacation is highly recommended for people who love rural tourism. Either you like to live "at the end of the world" and/or you love to take great tours in nature. The house "Galeon Ossorio" is located on the edge of the small village of Alojera. It is surrounded by paradisiacal gardens in which oranges, avocados, potatoes, papayas and much more grow... and that almost all year round. The small paths in Alojera are surrounded by date palms. The natural surroundings of the house are magnificent. High rock walls and mountain peaks, a "pirate bay" where you can swim in good weather. You can almost always eat delicious fish in the bay. In the house there are tips for other typical restaurants. What you have to consider: You have to walk up a hill about 400 meters to the house. Some physical condition is necessary.

We received detailed check-in instructions in good time and were able to enter the apartment without any problems. Communication was very helpful & friendly. The equipment was very good, including all necessary cooking utensils and even sand toys for the children. The location was superb, a residential building right on the harbor. From the living room window you had a beautiful view of the harbor. A bedroom window faced a quiet side street and another faced the house. The only small drawback was sometimes odors in the house (and with the window open also in the inner bedroom), but the landlord can't do anything about that. Overall a recommended accommodation - thank you so much!

Had a lovely stay at Catherine’s cute studio. She was warm, responsive and made everything easy, while her boyfriend Cyran shared superb hiking tips. The place is spotless, well-laid-out and opens onto a peaceful little garden. The setting is beautiful and quiet, with a tiny grocery and bar-café on the nearby plaza. A car helps, but you can still reach the small, sometimes-rough beach on foot—don’t expect a long sandy stretch like Tenerife, think intimate cove. Perfect hideaway for nature lovers; I’d happily return.

Nice apartment in a beautifully kept complex with a swimming pool in a charming little town. The supermarket is across the street and the beach a 3 minute walk away - the only problem I had with the location is that the glass recycling container is right below the balcony so it is a bit noisy when people are throwing their bottles in. Haribián was really accommodating and a great host.

The place is very nice and there is a lot of tranquility, you get to Ppr Camino de terra but you can access it well,the house is all right and the exceptional treatment the hostess went out to look for us and is lovely,experience to repeat.

If you want to experience the local way of life, peaceful surroundings and an absolutely amazing, friendly host, this is where you want to be! Juan welcomed us with champagne and Canarian snacks and good conversation. Wine and fresh fruit were waiting for us in the apartment which was perfect for the two of us. La Dama is a very small village with one small restaurant and bar with yummy food where the locals hang out. It feels like you’re on the edge of the world, overlooking the ocean, away from it all! Thirty minutes drive takes you to lovely hiking in the Parque de Garonajay! A real special place!

A small oasis of calm away from the tourist hustle and bustle, such as in Valle Gran Rey. In 5 minutes you will be at the foaming Atlantic, where unfortunately swimming is too dangerous due to the current and the waves (at least most of the time). There is a small children's swimming pool rinsed with seawater, where you can experience feel-good moments. Walking up to the village is steep and exhausting. A car is highly recommended, although the roads are very unfamiliar to lowlanders like me, steep, sometimes narrow and curvy, risk of rockfall included.

It was all perfect! We have enjoyed this location so much. The location was beautiful, the living room was spacious, the view was stunning and the pool was heated and clean. We definitely come back!

A beautifully clean apartment in Valle Gran Rey. It had everything you needed. It was centrally located so easy to walk around and the parking was very safe. Thank you Cecile for letting us stay in your apartment. Thoroughly recommend this place.
