The apartment is really in a great location. You have several options for shopping within a one to two-minute walk. If you want to go to Lido or Murano, you have to go to two different jetties, but they are both only a 7-minute walk away. So easy to organize. The special experience is also that you stay directly on a canal. The contact was also impeccable. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us! My husband and I choose Francesca's nest on the venetian roof's for our first ever visit to Venice for our 40th birthday's and we couldn't be happier, it was perfect and we loved it! It was easy to find from Francesca's directions. It does have 4 flights of stairs but we didn't find this an issue, it's also what gave the best views from the roof terrace and a canal view from the bedroom window. The bed was super comfy, kitchen had everything you need and it was very clean. One thing worth mentioning is the plug sockets are 3 pins, although Francesca did leave 2 adaptors for 2 pin plugs. It is walking distance to most of the main attractions in Venice, has supermarkets, restaurants and a fruit and veg boat right outside. There was also luggage storage next to the Coop as well, i think 5 euro's a piece. It was the perfect base and we will definitely come back!

We had a lovely experience staying at Cosetta and Stefano’s place near Giardini Biennale. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas, the location was a refreshing slice of authentic Venice. The quiet neighbourhood gave us a more relaxed vibe, and we enjoyed exploring some fantastic local restaurants nearby. Cosetta, Stefano and Silvia were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Travelling with a pram and luggage can be a bit of a mission in Venice, but they guided us to the property via a flat and easy-to-navigate route, which was a huge help. Their hospitality really made our arrival stress-free. We’d definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it to others – especially if you’re after a peaceful base with a more local feel. A little Venetian gem.

Roberta was very responsive to finding a hosting solution when we arrived a little late. The accommodation is located in a quiet residential area but also close to tourist curiosities. Great for our family.
