Villa vacation rentals in San Pedro de Alcántara

This is a lovely Spanish villa in the hills above Malaga. It had plenty of space for our party of 7 adults and one year old child. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and the whole house was homely and beautifully presented. The outside kitchen area was much used and there were supermarkets within a short drive to stock up the fridges. The pool area, complete with hammock and sun loungers was delightful and the jacuzzi was a relaxing alternative . A car is essential for getting in provisions and making visits in the area. Jose was definitely a Superhost and always attentive to enquiries . He made some great recommendations for day trips and restaurants. We visited Malaga, Marbella, Mijas, & did the cool zip line at Sunview Pk as well as the Caminito del Rey hike. We had a wonderful week and highly recommend a holiday here.

Easter 2025 We had a very nice week. Accommodation seamless, detailed instructions provided as you go. 6 adults and 4 children. The house is very close to the beach. During our stay (April), there was 1 restaurant nearby and 1 restaurant on the beach -very good food. No complaints, drove around a bit. Nearby 2 ports with lots of restaurants, coffee shops. The house is nice, the common areas are very spacious, well appointed rooms. Very good kitchen equipment (washing machine, fridge, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner, coffee maker, oven, etc.), pool and padel were basically only at our disposal. Great view of the beach from the deck and balcony. Parking spaces on the property - we had 2 cars. Contact with Jacques was very good, leaves guests free, responsive to comments/suggestions. The water pressure in the shower needs to be improved - the bath in order. I recommend a villa for large families (2+2, 2+2, 2).

We had an amazing stay at this villa! It was perfect for our group of 16 — super spacious, beautifully decorated, and really comfortable. The location couldn't have been better. The hosts were also fantastic, really helpful and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this place to anyone traveling with a big group!

An absolutely perfect stay in Estepona, the house is beautiful, the bedding is very comfortable, the setting is magical close to the sea, a little paradise! A very warm and accommodating welcome because we were able to have the keys before 4pm, which allowed us to enjoy even more. We will come back to it with great pleasure! What a wonderful Villa we’ve stayed in. Everything was great. Steve even got us a square table for us so we can play cards. Well worth the money. Highly recommended.

We had 3 parties, 2birthdays and a 5yr old boy to enjoy the facilities even though it predominantly rained, the heated pool and hot tub were a godsend and the games available were just brilliant for the dry spells. I would not hesitate to recommend the 2villas and space to anyone. Thanks Antonio

Absolutely stunning villa - I can’t find the words to describe how beautiful it is. Everyone on our trip was overwhelmed by it. The kitchen was well stocked and very well equipped. Couldn’t fault a thing about our stay. The grounds were fabulous and it was very useful to be able to drop our bags off before check in. There’s lovely outdoor dining in various areas of the grounds. There’s outdoor bar is very useful for pool days. 10/10

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful villa in Estepona! The property is modern, newly furnished, and has a fantastic layout – perfect for families. Our kids especially loved having their own TV room downstairs, which gave them their space while we enjoyed the rest of the villa. The jacuzzi was the highlight of our stay and was such a great option, especially since the pool had some technical issues and wasn’t available during our visit. Despite this, the villa still felt like a luxurious getaway. The host was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay – definitely a super host! They were quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed. One thing to note – we did experience a few power cuts when using the jacuzzi, oven, and heating all at once. It took a little time to figure out how to manage the electricity, as there wasn’t prior instruction on this. A quick heads-up on that could have made things smoother. Ivan's service was excellent, the Villa was wonderful but it has a problem of extreme humidity in the walls that must be solved immediately because the mold that comes out of them is not healthy. During our stay it was treated with a liquid or paint, but a few days later the mold came back. The problem is in the back of the house, which is buried in the garden without any moisture insulation. It's a shame.

Very good value for our booking period and exactly as described. Great amount of space for the price, very quiet location a short walk down to various restaurants etc. It seemed like the obvious one to book when we searched and I would definitely book it again. Only minor thing to mention was that the outdoor table area to the right of the house wasn’t very clean and the table-tennis table looks like it has seen better days. But the weather has been so unusually bad in Malaga recently that I can understand parts of the outside not being absolutely tip-top when we were there. There is a lovely terrace off the lounge which we spent a lot of time on, also enjoyed braving the pool in the rain! We also made use of the great luggage storage room in the centre of Malaga.

We had a fantastic stay at Carlos’ apartment! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how bright, spacious, and clean it was. The large windows let in so much natural light, making it a perfect space for groups of friends or family to gather and enjoy quality time together. Carlos is an excellent host—he truly understands the needs of a larger group, ensuring the kitchen and dining supplies were well-stocked, and even providing plenty of cleaning supplies so everyone could pitch in. Carlos also gave us a great restaurant recommendation—Mesón Andrés—which was absolutely amazing in terms of taste! He was always super friendly, responsive, and quick to assist with any minor issues. We also tried to use the heated pool, but since the weather had been quite cold and rainy (around 10°C), it wasn’t as warm as we had hoped—still usable, but more lukewarm than truly warm.

I was a Superhost myself so my expectations are rather high. This place exceeded my expectations. There were SO many extras not mentioned in the listing (tons of spices, condiments, even food (unopened), coffee, ice packs for cooler as well as cooler, detergent, plenty of bathroom and even cleaning supplies and vacuum). The host left us a really nice welcome supply of all kinds of fruits, veggies, snacks, wine, beer, soda and water. We have stayed in many countries and this was by far the best stocked place. Go to the villa first before grocery shopping. We had an issue that a remote was low on batteries and there was even replacement batteries at property. Sauna was amazing. The two washers were an added bonus as we were two families. Super safe area, easy to find and drop dead gorgeous views. We are so lucky to have booked this place. Nico is a fantastic host, super responsive. He gave us plenty of recommendations for local restaurants, all were great. Highly recommend this place.

Super Villa, more beautiful in real life than in photos

We came for our friends 40th birthday. We were 4 families with 2 kids each. Jorge helped us so much to feel like home. The property was so lovely really felt like a home away from home. We would love to come back. Thank you very much we so recommend Jorge's place.

The villa was the perfect accommodation for a family holiday, the villa was so clean and had everything we needed for ourselves and our young children. The Villa is in a quiet cul de sac and was so peaceful and quiet. The pool was clean and warm and there was a large well kept garden for the children to play. There is a verity of shops, bars and restaurants all within close walking distance and the neighbourhood felt very safe. Overall the owners had really thought about everything that would make your stay relaxing and comfortable. I will definitely be returning when we visit Calahonda again.

The villa was absolutely stunning. The pool is perfectly placed in the sun all day, and the house itself is beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

We were at the Villa at the beginning of April for 10 days. The kids really enjoyed swimming in the pool and it was nice that the pool went deep smoothly. A small child could also swim without any help. All kinds of plants and fruit trees grow on top of the yard, which were also allowed to pick fruit. A little avocado full of bags was waiting for us at the reception, which was very nice. Surroundings nice and peaceful and private. Alhaurin el Grande just 10 minutes away from everything. I also feel free to recommend this stay for tes, especially families with small kids.

We had a lovely stay, the villa is beautiful, with gorgeous views of the sea and mountains. Unfortunately, we did not have the winter sun we were hoping for during our stay but this did not stop us all enjoying the Villa and surrounding area. A short (but very steep) walk up the hill takes you into the pueblo with lots of restaurants/shop etc. The bus stop at the top of the road lets you explore the local area with lots of routes. The playroom/snug is great if travelling with children like we were. Tom was also very helpful and responsive.

Roger and Marie-Claude are the most charming hosts . Location is excellent with wonderful views. We were attracted to the outside spaces and swimming pool which didn't disappoint.

A beautiful villa - the photos didn't do it justice - the views were really lovely wherever you were in the large terrace and gardens, which were well kept with beautiful pots. And all areas to sit were quite private too, despite the fact that there were plenty of villas all around us. And we just couldn't fault the villa itself - gorgeous spacious interior, very tastefully appointed and furnished. The kitchen had everything you could need for a stay - even a great selection of herbs and spices to cook with! The gardens were really well kept and both medlar trees were covered with ripe medlar fruits, so we could even pick fresh fruit to put on our breakfasts each morning! We would all be very happy to book again.

Nothing prepares you for Casa Del Mirador - it truly is a slice of heaven, on earth. Private, breathtaking views, exquisite decor and an attentive hostess who in my opinion has carefully strived to ensure the villa has everything one needs. There's a beautiful view from every room, the outdoor beds ensure you get the most of the sun, then there's the barbecue grill, the hot tub in addition to the swimming pool, towels, slippers, some basic groceries, the list goes on. If you can, book it either as a solo traveller or a place for two. This is a haven of tranquility, a place to rejuvenate and feel connected to nature. Her guide book for the villa and the local area is a masterclass for expectations from anywhere else. Thank you Michaela - 11 out of 10 - definitely a place to return to!
