Monthly Rentals in San Pablo Huixtepec

It was a great pleasure to meet Chamin and his family and to stay at their beautiful bungalow. It is a bit off the beaten path and tucked away in a small gated compound where his family restaurant is. They were very warm and welcoming to us, making us feel right at home. We were well cared for and Chamin was very prompt in his responsiveness to our messages. We adored staying there and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chamin as a host or their restaurant, Sin Cauce!

I stayed for a month in the rustic loft at Villa Nogales, and it certainly felt like home. I was charmed by the cottage-like ambiance and the beautiful garden right outside the door. It was wonderful to wake up every morning to listen to the birds sing and watch the sun rise. I also loved the neighbourhood. It was tranquil and more residential, but still within walking distance to Centro. There were a few great restaurants nearby, as well as markets and corner stores. The weekly cleaning service was a great bonus, and Teresa was a wonderful host - friendly and responsive. I look forward to my next visit!

One of the best place to stay Oaxaca! For us it was a good stop exploring whole Mexica, we stayed here around one week. There is few rooms, sitting room and nice terrace for meditate, do sport, chill or have a morning coffee. Actually for us it was not so far from the city centre because you could use bus or take a taxi. Max 25 min. :)) Close to the house there market, where you could buy food, have a fresh juice or breakfast but don’t go to eat in a second floor (here we had bad experience). What a treat to stay at Karmen's! Great views, friendly neighbors, lots of amazing birds right outside your doorstep, in walking distance to the archeological site Monte Alban, small stores to get food, and the artist town of Arrazola where they make alebrijes. Also, the internet was reliable enough that I could work from home (using video calls)! The spot is about a half hour outside of the city by mototaxi, so the air is cleaner and it's more peaceful than you'll find elsewhere. Karmen has planted hundreds of native trees and plants on the land so there are lots of pollinators, gorgeous butterflies, flowers, and a couple of very sweet dogs. Karmen was a great host- proactive, responsive, and kind. She generously invited me to many incredible events locally and in the city. She is very well connected in the artist and healing communities. What a great deal! Hope to be back soon.
