Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in San Mateo County

the apartment was very easy to settle into me the kitchen is decently stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, silverware. the living room is comfortable, bedroom has a comfortable bed, decent desk with a monitor. there is coin op laundry and a parking spot. there are supermarkets, coffee shops and restaurants a short walk away. the place worked out very well.

We had a great time! We’re natives returning for a work visit, and this is a great location. Aubrey gave detailed instructions so check in was a breeze. The place was lovely and very clean. We had everything we needed for a week stay and even cooked regularly. I would definitely recommend!

I love the apartment! Local kitchen across the street was super yummy!! The pool is super luxurious with hot tub and fire pit that you can push a button and it starts. The roof was nice as well with a second grill area. This place is very close to Stanford University. I think figuring out which building the apt. was in was a bit confusing but it’s the main one with the leasing office below and where to park was a bit confusing as the key in the flat for the second parking spot is a lever to the parking space next to us above a car that was always parked but you can park anywhere outside the garage so we utilized that as a parking spot for our second car. The latch app is neat, just don’t let your phone die or you will be locked out. We did extend our stay and the latch app was only programmed for our original dates so we got locked out for a few minutes but Luxury suites was quick to respond and extend the latch app access. Overall 5 STARS!! LOVED IT!!!

Christine is a great host! Her descriptions and check in procedure work flawlessly and the apartment is perfect. For me the location was perfectly located between SF and Palo Alto, but if you need to be in SF frequently it may a little far off. The apartment community is great even with outdoor pool and gym I believe. Unfortunately I did not have the time to test it. There is a grocery store right next door which is very helpful. Highly recommended and would stay again!

Nice apartment complex with great location. But a little bit hard to navigate and find the exact unit If the instructions were not properly sent before arrival. Walkable to court of grocery, Starbucks and quick bites. The area is very safe also.

The train-side units are loud but not intolerable. Closed windows mitigate some of it and the train doesn’t run (I think) between midnight-6am. Building is pretty quiet otherwise. Lots of amenities (dog park, in/outdoor meeting and lounge areas, gym, car charging stations) and conveniences (food, drink, fitness spots, etc) available. Comfy med firm bed, pillow variety. Well appointed kitchen. Lovely grounds. Low traffic building. Would definitely stay again!

We felt very comfortable. As described, great amenities. All in very good condition. Great was the shared pool & jacuzzi. Everything is easily accessible by car.

Stayed there with family of 4. Apt was nicely furnished , family friendly + complementary crib was provided. All very high quality and very clean. Only small negative was the location but we spent most our time at the apt or somewhere else. Didn’t bother us. Quick access to the rest of Bay Area

This was one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve had. Tucked in a quiet, green neighborhood just minutes from downtown Palo Alto, the location was perfect. Peaceful & residential, yet incredibly convenient. Having an organic grocery store within walking distance was a big plus. The home itself is beautifully done, spotless, thoughtfully designed, & filled with everything you might need for a comfortable and relaxed stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bed was cozy, and the entire space had a calm, welcoming vibe that instantly put me at ease. But what truly elevated the experience was Johana. She is one of the kindest and most considerate hosts I’ve ever met, warm, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything was perfect. Whether it was a quick question or a small request, she was always just a message away and incredibly thoughtful in her responses. You can tell she really cares. I would stay here again in a heartbeat & I am looking forward to it.

I really enjoyed my two-week stay at Will's place! The apartment was clean and cozy, and the building appeared modern and new. I noticed a few reviews mentioning minor issues, but honestly, I had a great experience. The location is good – you can easily walk to a bakery, supermarket, and restaurants. Will was a great host, always available, friendly, and helpful with any questions. I recommend Will's place to anyone visiting the city – it's a great choice!

Lovely place with great ocean view that exceeded our expectations

We stayed at Sara's while visiting family nearby, but her home felt like a vacation in itself. The backyard is magical - we spent a fair amount of time there, swimming, grilling/dining, reading/napping. The backyard (and its myriad diversions) even lured our tech-obsessed teenagers away from their devices for extended periods. Everything was well maintained, no detail overlooked. We also enjoyed the access to a peloton bike and workout equipment. The interior was clean, organized, stylish but comfortable. The sunroom and small courtyard off of the bedrooms were great for yoga or stealing a quiet moment with a cup of coffee or book. Sara was responsive and attentive. Instruction booklet was clear and helpful. The stay exceeded our expectations. We hope to be back.

Lohanna’s private room/entire apartment was perfect and just as described! I had the backyard patio/ fire pit all to myself, with a nice view of Southern San Fransisco. The shower is upstairs in the common house, so you will have to walk up and might bump into the residences of the home. But I had full privacy and was perfect for my stay. I HIGHLY recommend. I will certainly be booking in the future!

We stayed here with a family of 8 and a dog and really enjoyed our stay. Our favorite part was the kitchen as it had a lot of necessary items. We really value the attention to detail with extra supplies throughout the house, extra tp, towels, stocked detergent for the wash etc. There’s a wonderful hike walking distance, host responsive, great view, location, ample parking. Highly recommend. Neighborhood felt very safe. The house is old and very creaky, if you are sensitive to noises like I am, bring earplugs as anyone waking up during the night to use the bathroom will be heard. There were a lot of ants near the dining table and found the table not as clean as we’d like when we arrived. Not a big deal though, we just cleaned it. The host did offer ant spray (raid) but it does leave a lingering smell, and since it’s in the kitchen, not ideal but it sufficed. Spray did not stop the ants unfortunately so we had to keep all our food sealed and tucked away.

What a gem this house is, right in downtown Pacifica. The house was pristine with very nice amenities. The host provided very clear and useful information about the house and recommendations for nearby food and activities. We felt very welcomed and right at home. We especially enjoyed sitting in the backyard and enjoying the fire pit. Everything was first class, and the blueberry muffins they left us were amazing! We highly recommend this place for a stay in Pacifica.

All was as advertised. The only difficult thing was none of us knew how to use the Nest thermostat, which made it difficult to control and A/C.

Wonderful place, clean, beautifully decorated! Good for my family with no young kids, we enjoyed the lovely furnishings and space. Responsive host, provided what we needed (eg salt, coffee, laundry packs) within a day of the request. Highly recommend staying here to explore SF!
