House vacation rentals in San Mateo County

Worked great for a large family group in town for a family wedding. Good internet, well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds.

We hosted a small get together for my partner's birthday and this location was perfect! Everybody loved how many activities were available. The pool was great and the trampoline was a big hit. MaryAnn was a very responsive and gracious host.

Corinne was very responsive. She got back to us very quickly with answers to our questions. Her place was comfortable and perfect for us. Nice, quite location. We would stay again for sure.

Maureen and Kieran’s place way exceeded our expectations! We love the location. The house is spacious and beautifully decorated! I especially love the kitchen and the dining area. It allows me to cook to my heart’s delight as it is spacious and well stocked. My granddaughter loves the kids corner and the trampoline outside. It is truly a home away from home! I am looking forward to staying with them again!!

We stayed at Sara's while visiting family nearby, but her home felt like a vacation in itself. The backyard is magical - we spent a fair amount of time there, swimming, grilling/dining, reading/napping. The backyard (and its myriad diversions) even lured our tech-obsessed teenagers away from their devices for extended periods. Everything was well maintained, no detail overlooked. We also enjoyed the access to a peloton bike and workout equipment. The interior was clean, organized, stylish but comfortable. The sunroom and small courtyard off of the bedrooms were great for yoga or stealing a quiet moment with a cup of coffee or book. Sara was responsive and attentive. Instruction booklet was clear and helpful. The stay exceeded our expectations. We hope to be back.

Great stay in Felton! The location was perfect, peaceful and scenic, yet just a short drive to Santa Cruz. The house was clean and comfortable, and Jessica was fantastic host. She was easy to communicate with and gave us some great local recommendations. Would definitely stay here again!

Maggie is a wonderful host, proactively checking in and responding graciously to our needs. Her home is attractive, comfortable, clean, spacious, with an extremely well equipped kitchen. The house was stocked with treats and toiletries. The front yard is beautifully landscaped. The front porch was a peaceful place to sit. The house was well located for all of our needs in the area. We would gladly choose to stay with Maggie again.

I've stayed in Raj and Monika's space several times and it has become my go to in the Bay Area. Super comfortable place and great hosts. Highly recommended.

Canadian family who was in the area as our daughter had a conference in San Francisco and we wanted a base for our family to spend some time together. Edwin’s home made for a very lovely stay. The place was quite spacious - very nice having two bathrooms and three separate bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable. Appreciated being able to open windows, nice large space for meals, sufficient dishes, cooking utensils, and very well organized with instructions for everything. Appreciated being able to drop off our luggage before check in. Parking inside the garage was also a huge bonus for us as well. The area is further from public transport so you either need a vehicle or to Uber. Small market within walking distance. Edwin was very responsive and made us feel very welcome.

Excellent experience! I rarely like staying at the same spot more than once. However, we will 100% look for this same listing again next time that our family is back in the bay area to visit our family. Great property!

We enjoyed staying here. The location was convenient and easy to find. We felt safe and walked to Target and other shops at the shopping center down the road. The house is about 15 minutes from San Francisco International Airport, 20-30 min from Japantown and downtown. The house was clean and well-cared for.

We loved Rick's place for our family reunion. Rick was an excellent host and prompt to respond to any questions. Check in was easy, there was plenty of space for the kids to play around and the neighborhood was peaceful. The location was perfect for us to visit city or other parts of bay.

We enjoyed our time at Anne-Flore’s snazzy house. It is as cool and stylish as it looks in the photos. It’s like being in a European movie! Everything is clean and uncluttered. The neighborhood is beautiful for walking, and it’s a few minute drive to nice shops and restaurants in Menlo Park and to the Stanford campus. It was a great place for our visit. Sarah's place was such a vibe! Could see the ocean's view in the backyard, and very near to the beach if you want to take a stroll. Also well located with Safeway just 5 mins away. About 30 mins to SF, and 20 mins to Half Moon Bay. Quiet neighborhood which was great for us.

Such a nice, secluded hideaway! The view was as amazing as it was peaceful. My family had a great time.

We came here to celebrate a milestone birthday in the family and the house exceeded expectations. You can’t beat the neighborhood, the 2 block walk to the beach, waking up to birds and coastal fog in the morning, all the great local markets and convenience despite this being a more remote and quiet part of town. The house itself was exactly as shown in the pictures and was such a lovely stay. If anything it was way bigger than we thought it’d be. 10/10 would book this again and again.

We were on a girls trip to San Francisco and we decided to book this place as it looked great and seemed like in a safe area. I’m glad we booked it and we thoroughly enjoyed staying at this place. Closely located to the airport and touristy locations in the San Francisco area with great views from inside and the outside of the house. Clean home with all the possible amenities. We enjoyed they had a pool table and a home theatre along with a piano in the basement. Very private and cosy house. I’d recommend booking them without a second thought

This was the perfect retreat we needed. The home is comfortable, spacious, and clean. We will most certainly return for another visit.

Richard and Nikki‘s cottage is not just a place to stay, it’s an experience. It was perfect for a long term stay. The cottage is only about 1/2 mile from the 280 freeway but tucked away so that you never hear the road noise. The greenery surrounding the house blocks the noise and provides privacy and a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. It was a great location for recovering from medical procedures. The home is very well maintained and is well appointed with updated appliances. The cookware is of good quality. The dishes are a quality you would enjoy in your own home. The Nespesso machine was a great touch. Nikki, the cohost, was very attentive and responsive to any questions or requests. I would highly recommend the cottage and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Beautiful Eichler home. The house was clean, open and beautifully furnished. Great kitchen for cooking and everything felt clean and well well maintained. It was a great place to stay in the area.
