Cottage vacation rentals in San Jacinto Mountains

I love going to Sky Valley and spending a relaxing weekend there. I’ve stayed at many of the different properties and this was as nice as any of them. It’s really only good for one or two people. The host were very responsive to the few questions I did have.

Had a great time relaxing and enjoying the amenities available here. Local community very friendly. Calm and relaxing vibes, very quiet when we were there… I guess it depends on what time of year to visit as it could get very busy here. Would love to visit once more and stay for the whole weekend.

We visited Palm Desert area in the weekend during Indian Wells Tennis tournament and felt luck to find this affordable, cute and lovely place to stay. It locates in a peaceful and relaxing community. Though it is about 20 miles from town, we have no issues with the driving. The unit itself is very organized with beautiful decoration. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked and has everything even beyond what you need. We had a great stay for 2 nights and will definitely considering coming back next time.

This place was very cozy and comfortable, there was lots of things to do throughout the day. I definitely would stay again. It’s a great place to go and relax and enjoy quiet time.

We really loved the remote setting, the solitude and space that was provided, hiking in the nearby canyons, and the ability to cook in the kitchen. I had to do some work while I was there, and the Wi-Fi was actually perfectly fine for Zoom. we feel like anyone who finds out about this place wants to keep it a secret because it's just so special!

The process checking in and out was smooth. The stay was peaceful. Precisely what I was looking for. The Colin’s were hospitable and polite.

Hidden Passage became our real home during our 4-day stay. The directions to find the location were extremely clear. The house was spacious, clean, with a stunning view from the kitchen/dining room + bbq setup is very nice. We worked remotely and never experienced any WiFi issues. We were also so happy that we could stay with our puppy! Diane is an amazing host and we can’t wait to return! side note: just 20 minutes drive from really nice dog friendly hikes 🐶

Cabin was great. The little park within the property was great for our little on to run around while we got in a game of ping pong. The cabin had everything we needed and the hosts were very warm and friendly.

We had the best time! It was quiet and serene. We checked out the local hiking spots and enjoyed the bbq outside. The pool was a beautiful touch. Very refreshing after a sunny hike. Diane was also very responsive and available when we needed anything. We felt very well take care of. Will definitely visit again.

Great stay! The fenced yard was nice for our pup- she loved watching th squirrels run around. It was nice being able to walk to all the shops and restaurants

Amazing location, we enjoyed sitting by the fireplace in the living room and swinging by the creek and enjoying the nature. Very accommodating hosts. Shower was also magical too. Felt like living in our own little movie for the weekend.

The cottage was amazing! Super clean, well taken care of and all around one of the best AirBnb’s we’ve been too. When we are back in Idyllwild, we will look to stay here again.

Carolyn’s place is well-stocked with towels, sheets and blankets. The second bedroom is more like a second living room, without closets, shelves or mirror. The location, directly across from the hot pools and horseshoe arena, and a four-minute walk to pickleball courts, is fabulous with a lake view. Kitchen is well-stocked with everything. House is bright, and the skylight in the bathroom is a great touch

Absolutely wonderful stay at Michelle’s with our pups for a little getaway to mama nature. Met and exceeded our expectations. The thoughtfulness and care is apparent in every corner of the cottage. Super friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Great location - close to Idyllwild’s downtown and trails, yet tucked away enough to feel like you have the woods to yourself. Can’t recommend enough and look forward to staying again in the future. Thank you so much you two!

So grateful to have found this peaceful cottage in Cherry Valley where we could stay while visiting family nearby. We were very impressed by all the thoughtful touches from the host including breakfast waiting in the fridge. Super charming vibe! Perfect amount of space and beds for our family of four.

Cozy, cute and clean cabin. We really enjoyed using the hammock outside while listening to the birds sing. It had everything we needed and appreciated how close it was to town.

We loved everything about our stay! This is easily one of our new favorite airbnbs and we’ll definitely be returning!
