Very comfortable apartment, perfectly equipped, with a very enjoyable terrace and free parking under the house. Luigi was an exceptional host! Super helpful, very kind, always reachable and resolved in no time after a couple of issues we had (because of us ;-)). Highly recommended!

Well-maintained, clean apartment for 2 people with all the essentials. The host has always been kind and available for anything we needed since our arrival. Flexible check-in and check-out, Jose always met our requests. The location of the house is not central to the city and unfortunately the area where it is located is not well maintained. Without a car you need to rely on buses (feasible but not easy) or walk at least to the center (about 25 minutes walk). The house's wifi is great too.

We stayed 4 nights in the flat and went on day trips to Syracusa, Taormina and Etna. First, the flat is confortable, with every bedrooms having shower and toilets. The living room/kitchen is big enough to have breakfast but not enough confortable if you plan to stay the all day inside. Secondly, but up to me, it is well decorated with upcycled stuff. Finally, the flat is well located. Lots of restaurants and bar near by. And few minutes walking from main touristic area. Stazione centrale might be a little bit far away.

We had a wonderful stay at the appartement. We really enjoyed the beautiful balcony and the nature all around. We even got nice fresh fruits out of the garden!

We were really happy to have booked Emanuela e Mariagiovanna's place during our trip to Sicily! We planned to visit mount Etna and avoid the crazy traffic and noise of the bigger cities that we had been experiencing in Sicily , so the place was a perfect choice as it is around 30m by car to it. It is also accessible to visit Taormina and Siracusa. The house is extremely comfortable, with all the necessary amenities, beautifully decorated and clean! The hosts are very kind and responsive, we ended up taking longer for our check in than planned and they were supper accommodating towards us. We recommend Emanuela e Mariagiovanna's place for your Sicily trip!

The apartment has a fantastic secluded location (with the landlords) in the mountains. The views from the garden are beautiful. In 2-3 km you are on Monte Ogliastro or Monte Veneretta, from where you can overlook the whole region. Fantastic! The terrace is large and completely fenced. Then comes the parking lot and then the beautiful fenced garden. The cats were very nice and there were no problems with the dog. Unfortunately, the cats were all very, very thin, at least 3 had severe diarrhea. The turtles in the garden had very bleak small enclosures and the dog was often locked away on the balcony. Unfortunately, pets usually have a bad life in Sicily. That made the vacation sad.

The location is good in the center, you can walk to the places to visit and the station.The two-room and one-room are very spacious with utensils and pots, coffee maker and coffee maker, and our family of three also made simple cooking.The furniture is very vintage, the building is also very vintage and there is an elevator for luggage, and the small balcony is also very atmospheric, although we are useless, it meets my expectations, if I come to Catania next time, I will choose this place.The only thing was that we arrived very early, but the check in was at 15:00 and waited outside for a long time.

From the moment they waited for us to show us where to Park, then helping us with our luggage , we both felt this was such a kind gesture- we knew this would be the best for us and w e were right! The place is so lovingly decorated . They explained every detail to us once we arrived. We walked everywhere and had the best dinner one minute away! They arranged a guide for our hike to Mt Etna- highly recommend! I could easily live there.

Beautiful villa at the base of Mt. Etna. Very large pool and garden. Nadia and her family are close by and very responsive / always willing to help. The location is great as it is close to the volcano and a 15 min drive to the beaches. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back!

Best place we have stayed in italy,and we have been going for several years. Marco was very attentive and helpful.. A real gem.

We stayed 2 weeks and it was a great base for exploring the east side of Sicily and Etna. A hire car is essential as the apartment is located in a quiet spot away from the main centres. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable with great views from the wrap around balcony. The swimming pool was a real bonus - we made use of it most days. Salvatore & Antonio were very helpful and responsive to requests (many thanks!). Highly recommended if, like us, you are looking for a peaceful getaway.

We felt very comfortable. We were glad we were picked up in the village and accompanied as the path is not quite easy. The house is really beautifully located and offers an impressive view of Mount Etna and the valley. The terrace with pool is also super nice and invites you to linger. You can take walks directly from the house and also the pain to the village is easily doable on foot. Unfortunately, the weather with us was partly windy and rainy. But since the house is also so cozy inside and offers a great panoramic view, that was not bad for us. The only small drawback for us was that the wood stove is not in the living room. The beds are super comfy and the kitchen equipment very good.

Outstanding place, just out of the city so it was peaceful, but close enough to be in the centre within minutes (we hired a scooter). The compound itself felt incredibly secure and was beautiful to relax in. Girlfriend fell in love with the cats on the property which were very friendly but not constantly around us. The pool was a great way to wake up every morning but the real espresso machine was an authentic and lovely touch. It is right next to the main street to get into town, which had a fair amount of traffic but the property had a fantastic garden which concealed you away from it, so we honestly didn't really notice the noise. All in all, I would recommend this listing to anyone, and will certainly return if we find ourselves in that part of the island again. 10/10

We stayed for a week at 6 people on the upstairs part of the house. The apartment does not fully match the photos since a bedroom has been added to the living room … but the living room remains very spacious. There were no shutters ( and no opaque curtains in the living room) which is a shame when you sleep in the living room and the sun rises at 6 a.m. ... and especially to cut off the sun when it's very hot . The kitchen was not sufficiently equipped rather rustic Thankfully Sonia was responsive to our requests. The A/C was essential but not good enough to refresh the rooms. I would say that the apartment is worth it for the terrace and the view of Taormina and the tranquility if there are people on the ground floor ( this apartment must be more suitable for a long stay). The exteriors are really magical and very enjoyable during the heatwave they are also very well maintained .

We spent a 10 day vacation here as a group of friends. Already upon arrival we were overwhelmed by the beauty of property and surroundings: located in the beautiful lemon grove overlooking the slopes of Mount Etna and the sea. It couldn't get any better! Boredom never arose, the area offers a lot! However, a car is important. There was also always something to do on the property: beautiful pool, ping pong table, foosball, football or cooking in the great kitchen... and always fresh lemons. Maria Gulia and Angelo are super friendly and often helped us with tips and quick answers. The villa is an absolute recommendation!!

I spent a wonderful month in this location - it's clean and comfortable with good wifi for remote working - perfect for what I was after. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and cleaned the place once a week while leaving me nice things for breakfast! She even gave me a lift to and from Catania (c.10km) with my heavy suitcase. Trecastagni is a pleasant town on the slopes of Etna with accessible supermarkets and other essential shops as well as a some nice bars and restaurants and several churches. This location is better for those with private vehicles as the buses to/from Trecastagni are somewhat unreliable and it is a walk of several miles to the nearest train station (Acireale). However for those with vehicles it offers good access to Etna as well as other attractions in the area such as Catania and Acireale.

Quiet and conveniently located accommodation for visiting Etna. Close to shops and restaurants. Very nice host, responds very quickly and gives good advice. We recommend this listing

Our stay in Sicily was truly unforgettable! The house had a beautiful character, filled with charming details that made it feel like a home. The garden was a stunning oasis, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the warm Sicilian evenings. Our host, Carlo, was exceptional—always available to answer questions and provide recommendations. The highlight of our trip was the incredible five-course Sicilian dinner Carlo organized for us, showcasing the region's delicious cuisine. Each dish was a delight! The location itself is a must-visit, with breathtaking views and rich culture all around. We felt immersed in the beauty and warmth of Sicily. Highly recommend this lovely spot for anyone looking to experience the best of the island!

We stayed here and were the only two guests in late April. We got a room upgrade and ate their delicious four course dinner. We felt really well taken care of and even got to see Etna clearly at night erupting - it was so cool! You really feel taken care of here I would highly recommend.

Words cannot describe how thankful we are to have found Simona’s and Roberto’s beautiful home. We just moved to Italy from the United States, and in the middle of our travel we discovered we did not have housing secured like we originally thought. Simona was so quick to respond to our situation and her flexibility with us meant the world. For our first month in Italy, we felt as if we had landed in a dream - the orange grove was the perfect peaceful spot for long walks with our dog and the serene atmosphere allowed us to unwind and really enjoy our new Italian life. The house is rustic and beautiful - there are so many perfect little personal touches and we felt cozy during our stay. The best part were the hosts, Simona and Roberto. They were responsive to our every need and showed us great hospitality. Simona gave us local Scordia recommendations, even bringing us bread, treats and fruit from the farm. We would stay here in a heartbeat again. Thank you for everything, Simona!

Lovely stay in a beautiful, peaceful location with gorgeous pool, views of Mount Etna and easy access to Savoca, Taormina, Etna, Alcantara Gorge and the coast. Very nice breakfast by the pool on our last day. Highly recommended.
