House vacation rentals in San Fernando

Casey is an amazingly good business man! He was extremely communicative, professional, friendly, empathetic and responsive. Literally the ideal host. The location is wildly perfect for a recharging getaway that’s near strip malls. The home is very close to Ventura Rd. and near freeways so relatively quickly to get to destinations. Inside the home, the view over the city is spectacular. The place was roomy and relaxing. There is great space for entertaining and hanging with family. Casey made the stay nice. Would certainly recommend it for anyone considering a stay in LA.

Jamie and Chuck were great hosts! They were super nice and friendly our whole visit. They were sure to let us know we could contact them about any issues or questions. The place is in a great location, there’s a lot of restaurants nearby and Universal Studios is less than 10mins away. They also let us use their drive way as parking which was great!

Irina was an excellent host and the Airbnb was perfect. The bed and linens was incredibly comfortable. The air conditioner gets as cold as you want it to. The neighborhood is very peaceful, esp in the mornings. In the hills, it's a perfect place to walk around, and the neighbors were friendly. Irina as a host was super responsive and accommodating. Checking in was a breeze and she also helped us with a few requested that weren't listed. The Internet was also very fast. Solid solid spot for the $$

We had a great stay at Kate's midcentury modern home. We really appreciated the architecture, and it was nice to spend time in a place that had a curated décor instead of the many rental units that have very disjointed tchotchke from discount stores. Everything was as described. We really enjoyed are time in the "home".

My daughter, husband and I had such an amazing stay! The house was clean, comfortable and the backyard set-up is ideal. Communication with the host was always quick and easy. We can't wait to come back!

Perfect location with easy access to major attractions including Universal Studios, Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Griffith Observatory. The property's kids' play area and swimming pool were absolute favorites with our children. We had a wonderful family getaway and would definitely book this place again for future visits!

Eric was a great host and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. We were on a graduation trip with a family of 15. The home was beautiful , just as the pictures showed. Everyone felt right at home and comfortable. Great response time to messages and he came fast when we needed him. The location was great. There’s a book at the house with great recommendations on food and things to do. 30 minutes to Universal Studios and Six Flags depends on traffic. There’s a Target right up the street which was great to pick up a few things. I would recommend checking the cabinets before going grocery shopping, the kitchen had a few cooking essentials, that you may not need to buy, which came in handy. All around great trip, I would definitely stay there again when traveling. Highly recommended.

I stayed here for 8 days and overall had a great experience. The bnb matches the photos and description. I stayed here by myself and thought there was plenty of room. I also worked from home, and was comfortable. The space is also well appointed with kitchen and bathroom essentials. There was plenty of space to store my belongings, including generous shelving in the bathroom. The location was super easy to hop on the 405, and there were grocery stores, and importantly, In n Out 10 minutes or less away. I walked around the neighborhood a bit to stretch my legs and felt very comfortable and safe as a woman alone. I got home late a few nights and also felt very comfortable parking my car and walking to the house. I found Kelsey to be very, very responsive and addressed any issues that came up. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Hardly do I give 5 stars across the board, because as I rely on reviews when booking, I’m sure others do too, but this Janie and Pats place earned it. The space was clean, the neighborhood was nice, and the actual bedrooms and bathrooms… they were amazing. As someone who travels to the SFV often, I’ve stayed in many AirBnbs, many not as shown, but this place is nicer than the pics. Pick this place, you will not regret it.

What a cool place! Kagel Canyon is so close, yet feels world's away from the frantic pace of LA. The house is great - and you quickly get used to the canyon's winding roads to a parking spot right at the gate to the property. Host Vic is very responsive - when we had one issue the first evening, he was there in less than 10 minutes to correct it. He and his co-host are dedicated to making improvements to create a perfect guest experience - even brought over a new table & chairs for the patio while we were there. Kagel Canyon may be further away from downtown LA & Hollywood, but has a similar vibe to Laurel and Topanga canyons, legendary hangouts of the late 60's. Quirky and interesting homes amongst the giant trees - fun to stroll the streets even if there's alot of up and down hiking. Especially enjoyed hiking up the trail from nearby Veranda Dr. - 360° views down into the canyon and into the mountains. Very quickly felt at home - a perfect respite from a very busy city. 5 stars!

Place was beautiful and was definitely worth it

Perfect little home away from home- my family & I came from downey for a family wedding and it was the perfect peaceful home, I definitely recommend for a perfect quiet stay!!! Casey was very attentive and responded to any questions I had right away

This gem of a home was perfect! The backyard is a little oasis with the lush grass and beautiful trees with great canopy cover. Perfect for my animals! The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Whenever I am back in LA, this spot in Santa Clarita is a great choice and close by. Very peaceful at night and a cute neighborhood to walk around. It felt very safe as well. Beautiful open home and loved the vibe of the house.

Our family of 6 was easily able to spread out when we needed space, yet living and dining areas large enough for us to be together. We made at least 1 meal a day in the kitchen, so we appreciated all the appliances & cookware (close to Ralph’s for grocery purposes & no issues with delivery finding the home when we went that route). Comfortable beds for all. Grateful for the laundry room. Beautiful views from the deck & yard. Easy check in and out process. Would recommend!

Edgar was very responsive after our previous Airbnb fell through, he responded right away and allowed us to check in early. He came and made sure everything was ready for us and that we knew how to use everything. He lives next door if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks! Place was very clean and stocked with ALL the essentials in the bathroom and kitchen.

Great place to stay if your going to six flags, place was super clean, would recommend this place to other people. Austin was great help as well answered questions pretty quickly.

Although Buena Vista Street is busy you won’t hear the traffic noise in this cozy one bedroom house. The house is nicely appointed with a comfortable bed, full bathroom with a walk in shower. The heat pump/mini split heating and cooling system worked flawlessly. The kitchen was complete with a gas range, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven, coffee maker and refrigerator. I never had a problem parking. As a matter of fact I was able to park in the exact same place just to the right of the driveway. Be aware that there is no parking every Thursday from, I think, 10:00 till noon. There are plenty of signs posted on the exact time on Thursday that cars must not past. You can easily park across the street during that time. There is a Ralph’s Supermarket and a CVS Pharmacy about a mile away and you’re less than half a mile from I5. All in all a great two week stay. I had such a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated—exactly like the photos, if not better. Every little detail was taken care of, and it made me feel right at home. The location was perfect—quiet, yet close to everything I needed. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, always making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It’s one of those places you wish you could stay longer. I’d definitely come back again. Highly recommended!
