House vacation rentals in San Anselmo

Very homey and welcoming. Family enjoyed celebrating time together in all spaces of the house, especially the back patio where our young child made believe on the well-designed pirate ship. Friendly, kind host. We walked to adorable Rockridge and BART many times. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay at Casita Casita, the kids had so much fun in the pool and the kitchen was beautiful. On the last day, my six year old didn’t want to leave, she said she wished we could live there forever. It was super clean and when I did have a question, Courtney replied almost immediately. She was super great to work with, she sent us the house guide before our arrival and it included food recommendations. There was also a book printed guide which we actually referenced a lot! So that was helpful. The location is EXTREMELY walkable, we had fun walking to local shops and restaurants and the local park and bocci ball court.

My friends and I had a fantastic stay at Tina's home! Tina was so welcoming and offered flexible check-in/out times. She also left a bottle of wine for us in the fridge. The home is in a beautiful, rural part of Sonoma. It's such a peaceful and private location, but close to everything! We enjoyed watching the hot air balloons above the backyard in the morning and going on walks/runs from the house. The house is clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed! The weather was warm, so we were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub. I can't wait to come back with my family!

A group of lifelong friends and I meet once a year for a long weekend to catch up, decompress, and spend time together. We chose San Francisco this year and after hunting on AirBnB we stumbled across this estate on JAR Farms. The host Nikki was proactive, helpful, and responsive. We arrived on Wednesday and drove to thru the gate into a lush oasis. The pictures on the listing didn't do the property justice. We arrived at the guest house to a welcome gift of wine, local honey, and snacks. We were a group of 6 adults and the guest house was cozy yet a perfect size for a reunion of friends. We were given a tour of the property showing us the boat house/beach, grand staircase to the bay overlook, the pool house (pool and hot tub), gardens, bee hives, and the many trails on the property. The mornings we hiked Monahan Trail at the adjacent Old St. Hillary's Preserve. In the afternoons we enjoyed the hot tub and a nice bbq dinner. Perfect weekend! HIGHLY recomended. Will be returning!

Carol is a fabulous host! Her home is absolutely beautiful and well equipped. It has a warm energy and was peaceful and inviting. She was easy to communicate with and she was always responsive. If i could give Carol and this place 10 stars, I would. We can’t thank you enough!

Wow - we had an amazing stay and loved Job's beautiful home. The photos barely capture the incredible views. 180 degrees views of Mt. Tam all the way down to the Bay - truly on top of world. Pool was bigger than expected, warm water, great covered porch, VERY nice pool house/bedroom & bath. All beds were super comfortable, everything sparkling clean and living room was such a great and comfy area to watch movies or just look at the view with a good book. Kitchen is outfitted (and labeled) with everything you need. Very close to San Anslemo downtown - which is filled with great lunch spots, coffee shops. So much to do in Marin and this is centrally located (note a steep driveway but we had no issues.) Can't think of a single improvement Job could make. I left something behind and he responded that day that he would ship back to me. One of our most favorite Airbnbs ever. THANK YOU!

The Hidden Gem is what it truly is…..a hidden gem! So beautifully decorated and furnished and so private. You are surrounded by lush greenery and complete quiet except for the birds and the rooster. What you saw on line in pictures is exactly what you got. We all enjoyed every minute. Thank you again for helping to make our niece’s graduation event so memorable. Nancy was great in her responsiveness. Would highly recommend.

Our stay worked great for the 3 days of golfing. We were able to use the hot tub in the evening and the place had all the amenities we needed. Kitchen was well equipped and clean when we arrived. The house had lots of space to kick out and relax. It is defiantly a feel at home place and things are well kept. Nicole was always quick to respond to any question we had. Great host!

This home is perfect. Decor, comfort, location all ideal. And host was very helpful. The area is amazing - outdoor activities, great restaurants and shops. The backyard has lots of space and great for enjoying the weather.

We stayed at Kelly’s place only for a night but would 100% come back and stay longer. The house & yard is truly magical. The area is peaceful and has a lot of charm. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was amazing. The kitchen was pristine. The porch and backyard were our favorites. Highly recommend staying at Kelly’s!

Beautiful home in a beautiful city. We felt right at home! I also loved how clean the house was. And the backyard is just enough space. There's a lot to do for those who love the outdoors!! Tyson was very responsive and friendly to any questions and left a lot of instructions to make things easy to settle in and about the area. I would 100% recommended this house to anyone looking in the area.

We stayed at Paula's house for almost 4 months. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Paula’s. Paula is super attentive. My flight arrived late, and she carefully and thoughtfully asked me what I wanted her to buy at the grocery store so that when I arrived at the house the supplies would be ready. The house is wonderful, clean, with lots of light, very spacious and comfortable, particularly the bed on which I slept soundly every night, the closet was ample sized, spacious fully equipped kitchen, large bathrooms, spacious and comfortable living rooms, it has a deck on the front and there is a sunny back deck too. The house is very well furnished. You won't miss anything. A peaceful and spectacular place to relax. It has excellent energy. Paula is friendly and provides great hospitality. Always kind, easy to communicate and helpful. Staying there was like being in a home away from home. I would return a thousand times with a light heart full of gratitude.

My daughter and her husband stayed there for a family visit. They found it warm and cozy. WiFi was very fast, and all the instructions were clear. We will stay there again!

We had a great stay, the location was perfect between the SFO airport and a wedding we had in Santa Rosa. We were able to explore lots of different areas from this central spot. The location was easy to get to but nice and quiet. Definitely walk over and check out the civic center and farmers market—super close and cool! The host was very available and responsive. This is someone’s home, so not the place for you if you want a perfectly immaculate spot with no signs of life—however the space was very clean and as pictured. Had plenty of kitchen supplies to cook a meals at home. Definitely recommend!

My mom and I stayed at Kathleen's for 10 days while visiting friends and family in the Bay Area. It was an excellent home base for us and provided what we needed most: two bedrooms and two bathrooms, plenty of room to spread out, and AC! We also enjoyed the beautiful view of Mt. Tam. Kathleen truly stands out as an exceptional host. It was clear from day 1 that she wanted our stay to be optimal. When we had a minor issue with the water heater (likely due to neighbors and beyond her control), she got a plumber to the house right away and at convenient hours for us. Marianne has created a beautiful oasis for guests to relax and recharge. As a fellow airbnb superhost for the past 15 years I can truly say this was the most well stocked and appointed airbnb that I have stayed in. Aspirational. 5 stars all around. We will definitely be back!

It’s impossible to adequately express how lovely Julia’s home is but I’ll try. The overall feeling is tranquil and serene leaving one feeling immediately at peace upon entering. Just past the end bury gate are the hanging succulent gardens with bubbling fountain and songbirds. Then as you enter, you discover the view just off the porch. Stunning spacious views with an elevated view of breathtaking Mount tam. The sunsets would fall just beyond the expansive porch making it a perfect place to entertain or unwind in the hot tub. The home itself is elegant and warm. Host Julia is really has thought of everything. We love her home and would be delighted to return. Thank you Julia! Ash

Hilary’s place was the perfect peaceful getaway for me and my husband. It was cozy, beautifully maintained, and just what we needed to unwind. This is one of the best Airbnb's we've enjoyed so far. Scenic views, nearby beaches and redwood forest hikes were the highlight of our stay. This is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Our kids enjoyed wildlife sightings, Bolinas Beach within a 5-minute drive and the tide pools on Agate Beach. The home was perfect. We enjoyed our coffee from the patio with beautiful beach views, the hot tub to warm up and the kitchen that had everything we needed for cozy meals in. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for 4. The host was proactive with communication about how to arrive and nearby things to do. We're already planning our next visit!

One of the most beautiful Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in, loved every corner and detail. Amazing location feels private quiet and calm but is also nearby restaurants and shops. Adrienne is a responsive and friendly host who had great local recommendations. We had a wonderful stay

We had the most amazing time at Matt’s place. The house itself is quite literally a grownup-size treehouse perched on a steep hill (the 100+ stairs to get to the door went through a true character arc from a nemesis to a good old friend over three days we stayed there), incredibly beautiful and worthy all the praise it receives here. The furniture and material choices, the thoughtful details, the variety of charming nooks and corners to cozy up and get comfortable in—everything is there to make you feel at home. With hiking trails quite literally steps from the backyard the house is drowning in lush, whispering greenery—hearing birds sing in the morning and hummingbirds buzzing at sunset was my favorite. Truly a rare find—this is not “an airbnb”, instead it felt like a good friend’s house that’s well loved and lived in, making it a very memorable stay. Thank you Matthew and family.

My two grown children and I enjoyed staying in Helen’s cozy 1 bedroom. She set up an extra mattress to accommodate us. Gorgeous location with lovely view, fresh rose bouquets in the house and lots of roses in the garden, comfortable deck out back, great hiking nearby. Helen was kind to let us use her cooking oil, butter, herbs, spices and condiments. Refrigerator had lots of room for our groceries. I highly recommend this quiet, beautiful place. We may be back again.

Loved the inside and the outside space. Living room and kitchen and dining were spacious, we (family of 6) made breakfast everyday and then enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful backyard. My father loved the backyard and spent all his mornings there before and after breakfast
