I'm a small cabin located in a wonderful setting with other houses on gravel roads. My owners put their hearts and souls into my creation. I have 2 BR's & BR's, great room, kitchen, W/D, 2 porches, patio and a fire pit. Located 2.5 miles from Saluda, NC - a delightful small WNC town. I'm up the hill from a small private lake *as of summer '25 - lake temporarily drained for long term repairs* NO WI-FI, weak cell. Guest pass for lake property provided. NO PETS or SMOKING - strict policy.

While being surrounded by nature can be an enjoyable and a relaxing break from hectic day to day lifestyles, please realize that this cabin is in the woods and we do have carpenter bees and camel crickets along with some ants. We strive to keep the pests at bay but they are part of mountain life. Shared spaces include the fire pit along with the overlook bench.

This 1927 Southern Railroad Caboose X61 is located right in the heart of the Charming Historic Railroad town of Saluda, North Carolina overlooking the railroad tracks, once the steepest railroad grade in the United States until the trains stopped running through Saluda. One of 10 built in 1927 for Central of Georgia and approaching its 100th Birthday.
