The cottage is located at the bottom of the main house's small private garden. It is quiet & secure. Half a minutes walk from Largs train station. Fully equipped for self catering. This studio style cottage has a shower room with towels ,shower gel, toilet rolls and handwash supplied. A small kitchen area with electric cooker, sink, fridge with ice box , kettle and toaster. The kitchen cupboard is stocked with complementary tea, coffee and cereal. The fridge will also be stocked ,fresh milk,etc.

Fabulous views from the light-filled living room. Yachts, ferries, fishing boats and the occasional porpoise will keep you entertained while you sit at the window with a cuppa. This Victorian apartment retains lots of original features and the decor is classic with the occasional quirky flourish. The bedroom is to the rear and is calm and comfortable; the bathroom has a shower with a very low step on entry. There is a private patio within the shared garden at the back of the property.

Welcome to The Wee Lodge! We are located in sunny Ayrshire amongst open skies and rolling hills that descend down into the beautiful Clyde Estuary. It sits in our farmsteadings overlooking hills and fields, with Arran and the Clyde in the distance. It is surrounded by pine trees, and with the decor reminiscent of a Scandinavian lodge, has a very peaceful feeling.

Accommodation is in a spacious 2 bedroom Victorian house, built in 1870. It is part of a courtyard with a deli, smokehouse and award-winning seafood restaurant. The house is beside the A78 road, backing onto the Fairlie moors where you can find walking, cycling and hiking routes up Kaim hill with outstanding views of the Clyde coast. The property has 2 living areas and one can be configured as a big double bedroom, please let me know when booking how you want it to be set up. There is a king size in the main bedroom and bunks in the other. A Victorian flat with some original features. A gateway to Arran, Ayrshire and beyond . 2 beaches are a 15 minute walk. Less than 3 minutes walk are shops, takeaways and also a castle. ASDA and various restaurants are 15 minutes from the property.

Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a community pub, a community cafe(open Thursdays and Fridays for morning coffee and lunch. A newsagent, post office/ shop and an Artisan Bakery ( openThursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) A new craft shop has also recently opened next door to our home. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.

It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains.
