This has been one of my favorite Airbnb stays ever, and I’ve travelled the world! Charlie was so welcoming, gracious, kind and did everything to give me the best stay. The home itself is stunning, with a backyard that is huge and was perfect for relaxing, and especially for what I went there for, to work on my book. I highly recommend Charlie and David’s home to anyone. She went the extra mile and has such a warm and welcoming spirit, plus is so fun to talk to. You’ll get to experience their garden and fresh mint. And the labyrinth was so calming! I feel a did a lot of nervous and adrenal system healing after coming from a big city. This was just what I was dreaming of. Thank you!

We enjoyed a quite few days on the point. The property is beautiful with lots of options for accessing the water. We enjoyed staring at the strait from the hottub and looking for otters as well as plenty of other sea life post hiking nearby. Hosts are friendly and welcoming. The loft is cozy and well equipped. We will come back!

Had a wonderful time at Liza's place. She was such a gracious host. From the thoughtful snacks she left for us upon arrival to the huge library she invited us to use. The amenities were fantastic including the hot tub that was easy to use. We really enjoyed this peaceful respite and look forward to coming back soon.

Nice place. Great location Closet was small and furnishings were a bit out of scale and dated. Pillows were mis matched. Kitchen was clunky with no oven just a toaster oven. Noise from the garage door and cars coming and going was irritating. Kit drawer did not work, and drawer front was separated. Threshold to bath was splintered. Overall just needed some careful maintenance.

Stayed here with my boyfriend for my birthday :) they had heating in the bubble and comfortable sheets and a full kitchen set up with the fridge and kettle and came with cider!!! The surrounding are beautiful in all weather. And the shower worked amazing with hot water :) thank you guys for making our trip special 🥰

From start to finish (both via Allen's boat!) this was an extremely memorable, peaceful stay. Allen is a terrific host who made us feel at home and cared for while providing us with lots of space of our own. Mudge Island is a treasure and the space where you'll stay is incredibly comfortable with a beautiful deck and an extremely cozy bed! I cannot recommend this place enough - no doubt this the best kept secret of the Gulf Islands.

Our stay was great at Adam’s place. Although my kid was afraid of dogs, the dogs were super friendly. We found it easy to get in the gate and to our suite. There was lots of room for everyone. There are lots of things to do in the property and Sean was helpful in telling us about the place and keeping the dogs away when we wanted to explore. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would recommend as a place to stay. Thanks Adam and Sean!

Sean and Katy’s place is absolutely beautiful and they are such kind and lovely people. There were 5 of us and we had ample space to rest and work and enjoy the quirks of this historic house and its surrounding. The proximity of the lake and private dock mean you feel totally immersed in nature- we watched the sunrise most mornings and listened to the birds, as well as doing some swimming even though it was late September! Everything that you might need has been thought of and Sean and Katy were on hand whenever we had any questions. What a magical place. We really hope to come again. Thank you!

Hands down the best Airbnb experience we've ever had. You'll have a sauna, a fully equipped kitchen (that would please all you culinary enthusiasts), garden picnic, nutty and fragrant homemade granola, a swing, and lots of things you won't realize that you are gonna need, like umbrella, lantern, slip on shoes, baskest, etc. You'll also find detailed instructions everywhere so every thing is very straightforward to use. We made plans of touring around the island but ended up staying here half of the time. Patti and Dave are super friendly and Leo (their dog) will also come and greet you. Honestly, I think this place alone should be one of Salt Spring Island's tourist attractions. Simply amazing, already recommended to friends, will definitely come back again!
