Priceless views and amazing architecture are showpieces of this magnificent home that combines coziness, elegance, comfort and rustic charm. We’ve stayed at many airbnbs, but this one is a new favorite. It’s an ideal getaway for the whole family; plus it’s close to interesting hikes and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked for eating at home. We didn’t enjoy the taste of the well water, but bought drinking water at Tru Value. Carley was very responsive and helpful throughout. We would love to come back in the summer.

Had a very lovey stay! The house was more even more beautiful than the photos! We came for a girls trip and 7 of us fit very comfortably. The garden was beautiful, complete with a pink dogwood tree, area for a campfire, cedar sauna, and 2 very wonderful cats!! Aaron was very fast at responding, which was super helpful when learning how to heat up the sauna. The property felt very private. We had a yoga instructor and pilates instructor in our group so we were able to utilize the upstairs deck and do beautiful classes under the arbutus trees with the eagles flying above us. Truly magical! 10/10 stay! We all agreed we would book the home again. I could see two couples and their kids having a perfect stay here too. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay. Devanie was amazing, she went extra mile to get us an anti-slip mat and make sure we have enough propane gas for the BBQ grill. The surrounding was delightful, we were lucky to see a few deers in the backyard as well as a double rainbow. Will definitely try again during summer!

We had such a lovely and relaxing We had such a lovely time at Charles and Kristy’s, exactly what we needed for a getaway from city life for a few days! The house had everything we needed to feel right at home, and oh the views!! When not enjoying the serenity of the home and its amenities, there was plenty to do in the charming downtown area of Friday Harbor and all throughout the island. Us humans and our pup loved every moment of our stay!

Terry's place was absolutely fabulous! Exactly as described, very clean and spacious with lots to do (hot tub, outdoor fire pit, pool table)! I appreciated the dedicated workspace in the home which was perfect for those of us who work when we travel. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with lots of small appliances and things to get you started when you first get there. Terry was a kind host who accommodated us with an early check in and great communication while we were there. We would love to come back next year, and absolutely recommend Terry and his place to all guests looking for a peaceful spot with lots to do, and beautiful surroundings! Thanks Terry for being a super host and for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Our stay at Lisa’s home was absolutely wonderful. The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and cozy. The wonderful throws were a great touch making the living area feel like home. The kitchen was well equipped with high end appliances and lovely dishes. Lisa and Joe were great and extremely helpful. The view from the deck is indescribably beautiful. This is an ideal place to experience the peace and beauty of the San Juan Islands.

Can’t say enough about our stay!! The condo is a hidden gem with great amenities and comfy beds!! We absolutely loved everything and hope to return soon!

We had such a lovely stay at Dal’s place! The king sized bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. The shower had great water pressure, which is always a plus, and the whole suite was clean, cozy, and welcoming. The outdoor seating area was a definite highlight. We spent time enjoying the sunshine while watching deer graze nearby, with a charming peek-a-boo view of the ocean in the distance — so peaceful and serene. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. It’s just a short walk to the Saturday market and local shops, yet far enough away that it still feels quiet and private. We felt extremely safe the entire time, which made it all the more relaxing. Dal was also a good host, offering helpful local recommendations that we really appreciated. Would absolutely stay again!

Diane's place is a real gem. Quiet and peaceful, a beautiful garden with lots of interesting bird activity! Diane is also a great host, very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Deanna is a great host very accommodating and responsive. This is our second time staying at her place. Location is perfect to watch our son racing who was participating in Shawnigan regatta. Looking forward to stay here again next year!

THe apartment exceeded expectations. It was so spacious, sunny and with a great view of the water. The building was grand and very quiet. It was also near the town of Sidney and ferries going to multiple places. My mother and I both had a wonderful time staying here. Neighbors we met were friendly. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and watch the light change on the water and enjoy the lovely weather we had all week. We were only sorry to leave when it was time to go home!

Spectacular. The penthouse is amazing, especially the master bedroom. The views over the harbour are gorgeous. The location is a quick walk from everything you need in Ganges, great if you're flying in. The host is super efficient and friendly. Enough said!

The beautiful condo made a big contribution to our enjoyment of the lovely Salt Spring Island. It was comfortable in every way possible, from the beds, to the well stocked kitchen and the great deck overlooking the ocean. There were many thoughtful touches that you seldom see in an Airbnb such as extra towels and linens, laundry detergent, spices, Netflix, easy access door code and many other things. Vesuvius is well located for everything you could want to do on the Island and we would definately stay in the condo again.

Super responsive, proactive and accommodating

Sissi is very friendly, kind and responsive. The room was impeccably clean, beautifully furnished, and thoughtfully stocked with hight-end amenities. It deserves a full 5 stars. I highly recommend it.

good location

The place is amazing, and Billy was a great host. Every part of the property and accommodation is great. We especially enjoyed the private river access, sauna, and comfortable, well set up cabin. The space is also super flexible with lots to do, lots of places to hang out, and works for big groups. Finally, we loved how well prepared and clear things were in terms of pre-made fire places, instructions, etc. Great experience and hope to return for sure.

This is an absolutely stunning house with a gorgeous view and perfect location for visiting Salt Spring Island. We were 7 adults and 4 children, here for a weekend and it is well equipped for families. (High chair, cribs, etc.) We were able to walk into town from the house enjoying the Saturday market but the house location is private and pristine. There is a very cottage feeling to the place yet it is also large and elegant as well. A nice mix of experiences. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you could possibly want and the house in general is well supplied with books, games, and activities. It is large enough that you can wander off for some peaceful time on your own while at the same time, the living room and dining room could easily accommodate our numbers as well. We did find some of the furniture, while charming, a bit uncomfortable to sit in and the very firm mattress on the king bed was a bit too much for our aging backs, but that's a plus for some.

Zhuo is really nice and kind! The bedroom is tidy and cozy. All the amenities are available for us. She also provided other things we might need. The communication with her is efficient and proactive. Goop place to stay!!!
