Cabin vacation rentals in Salt Fork Lake

We rented for a girls weekend for Winterfest ❄️🐟!! It was a perfect location and a beautiful home!! Lots of space to hangout and comfortable accommodations for all of us!! Amber was very responsive to any questions we had!!

This cabin was absolutely amazing. The cabin is more beautiful than the pictures. This cabin had everything we needed and was above and beyond with amenities in the kitchen. Our host Gregory responded in a few minutes and was friendly and extremely helpful. Everything worked perfectly in every room. Our group of 8 had plenty of room. The wrap around porch has breathtaking views. We will be back soon.

This place was an amazing getaway for my family and the river was beautiful. We would love to go back during the summer.

Brent's place was a perfect get away for our family of 4 for spring break. My 4 and 9 yr old loved climbing to their "club house" bedroom. The king size bed was very comfortable and something I'm the room smelled like the lightest hint of vanilla and I loved it. There were chargers everywhere we needed and anything else you might need. There were so many things to do on the property, I wish we could have stayed longer. My kids loved the jungle gym, fishing, swinging on the porch, and exploring the land where we found more games and activities with beautiful views. The hot tub was the reason I decided on those booking and it did not disappoint. It was so private, peaceful, and relaxing after a day of hiking. Brent really paid attention to detail to make you feel right at home. The popcorn, coffee, spices for cooking, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, the 1st aid kit, the board games, and even the cute cozy vibe of the cabin. My kids are already asking when we can go back.

Philip’s Cabin on the Lake has become one of our favorite family vacation destinations! We all came in from MI and VA to gather. It was such a fun experience for all of us! There is basketball, ping pong, darts, fishing, Hot tub and games that our 4 Grandsons had a blast playing (with or without us adults) when we weren’t out hiking and sightseeing the beautiful Hocking Hills attractions! Us adults enjoyed sitting on the big wraparound porch in the mornings with coffee and listening to the quiet ☺️and in the evening with an adult beverage 😁 The house itself was warm, inviting and comfortable!

We had a fantastic stay at the Secluded Family Retreat—thank you, Rusty! The cabin was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Our son had the time of his life fishing—he caught tons of fish and couldn’t stop smiling! The lake, trails, and peaceful setting made it a perfect escape for the whole family. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

I rented the Buck run cabin the end of March 2025. I had been referred to Jake's cabin by a friend and took their word on how reliable and beautiful that location is. I'm somewhat disabled but able to walk around their property. The trails around the property and lake made it easy for fishing, it was something that I had never done before and was somewhat afraid, but the way that Jake takes care of the property was easy for me to get around. hiking was just a good time. My son who was with me wants to rent it in the fall. I know I'll be back. thanks again Jacob

Definitely recommend! Perfect for our group, 4 adults and 2 kids. The kids loved the bunk beds. The hot tub was wonderful as well!

Perfect cabin for a weekend get away with the girls! It was a short drive to Hocking Hills for some hiking and we enjoyed our time around the campfire making s’mores! We would love to visit again real soon!!

Great cabin! This year marks the 10th year of our friend’s cabin weekend getaway and this cabin was perfect. The location was great, the host was very nice and the amenities brought the weekend together. The only downside was that the bedrooms upstairs are connected and you will have to walk through to get to the bathroom. So keep that in mind. Again, great cabin and would stay here again!

This private, beautiful property was a great location for our girls' trip next to a fun winery. The house was very clean and comfortable for 6.

The cabin was very clean, comfortable and we felt right at home. The jacuzzi and inside / outside fireplaces were a very nice experience. Not too far from Hocking Hills trails. It was a nice romantic get away!

My husband, 3 children and I had an absolutely wonderful stay! Karen is a wonderful, gracious host and truly goes above and beyond. She stopped by and made sure we knew where everything was and answered any questions we had! She made sure the kids had plenty of toys/books and even left them some snacks, making sure what we allowed our children to have first. It was a no screen weekend for us, and no cell signal made it all the better!! We hiked around her stunning property, watched the sunset over the icy pond, built a few fires and cooked dinner over them each night. We cannot wait to come back this summer! We made a weekend filled with core memories for our kiddos and wonderful memories for us. Thank you so much Karen, can’t wait to come back!

The cabin was cozy, clean and private. All the things we wanted. Our dogs loved it! We enjoyed the hot tub and fire place as it was rainy and cold several of the days we were there. The covered porch was awesome as well. So many little details that stood out; toiletry items in the bathroom, hot chocolate station, Keurig with coffee and almost anything you would need to have for basic cooking. All of the items needed for dogs. Luxury towels and really nice linens and comfortable beds. Thanks for a wonderful getaway!

Cozy and warm, plenty of space. I was there to visit my son at OU and it was a bit far from campus, but we enjoyed some time on the hiking trail right out the back door, and playing cars on the porch, so it all worked out. Good communication from the host, thanks so much!

The Farmhouse had everything we needed. Inside was clean and stocked with all the necessities. The outside was absolutely beautiful and serene. Our dog loved chasing the ball on the expansive property. Will definitely recommend this place to all of our friends.

I highly recommend this rental for a small family! The attention to detail was impressive. My daughter enjoyed the cats, especially the sweet orange one. You have multiple places to sit including outdoor dining, nice hot tub, swings for an evening or relaxing morning. The property is nice, quiet, and secluded. You can tell they try to keep up with the place! Whether you want to cook, bake, or anything….Do not worry, the kitchen is fully stocked. The bed in the main bedroom is a tempuredic type bed with tilt and massage controls; is very nice. The bed downstairs isn’t as comfy but is more than comfortable enough for a few nights. Down stairs is a nice movie area. Plenty of outdoor space for dogs, and you are fully stocked for anything your dog needs; food, treats, ect. Obviously we didn’t feed them random food but they enjoyed a couple treats. The tub is great and my wife enjoyed it. Highly recommend this place, especially for a couple wanting to stay a couple nights alone!

Absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb near Hocking Hills! The views were stunning, and it was just minutes away from all the hikes we had planned—super convenient. Pam, the host, was incredibly thoughtful—she even left sweet gifts for our kids (bunny painting kits and coloring books!). The house was perfectly set up for families with young kids: a potty insert, Legos, baby gate for the stairs—she really thought of everything. It was such a peaceful, cozy space to unwind and spend quality time together. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

If you’re looking to unplug or work without distractions, this is a great cabin to reserve. Simply a beautiful region in Ohio and Valley View cabin offers solace and easy access to unique rural communities and of course nature. Wonderful host who cares about their property and their guests.

Another wonderful stay at Postcard Cabins, Hocking Hills! Our favorite spot to sit back and relax, enjoy a fire and making s’mores. Amenities provided are great and we love that they are included in the price. The location is close to all the trails and scenic routes. We cannot wait to come back!
