We had a great stay at Courtney‘s studio near Seabright Beach. It’s an amazing location just a block away from one of the best beaches in Santa Cruz. Ours was a short day, but the studio seemed to have a well stocked kitchen, and we appreciated some of the beach, accessories like beach chairs, an umbrella, and drying rack. We had everything we needed at the studio. We enjoyed having breakfast and cinnamon buns from Linda’s (nearby diner) one morning. Highly recommend staying here!

Peaceful, quiet setting with private yard with beautiful dogwood trees, passion flower hedge, ferns, manzanita and redwoods. The host was very accommodating and responsive to any questions. House was very comfortable and we cooked breakfast in the kitchen each morning. We have a camper van and the host made an extra effort to make sure we had a parking space each night. It was a quick and easy drive to downtown Santa Cruz. We would definitely stay there again.

I’d call Art’s place a creative forest retreat. It’s not your typical Airbnb—it’s lived-in, storied with character, quirks, and soul. Every item is handpicked with a past and they provide a relaxed, found-art vibe that I really enjoyed. This is not the spot for folks looking for sleek, spotless minimalism. The space is a bit rough around the edges—more bohemian than boutique—but the energy is calm, welcoming, and grounding. The house sits on land that’s part of a rural co-living/co-working setup, and it’s surrounded by nature, so be aware of wildlife, a steep hill, and zero cell service. That said, the wifi was solid—I was able to work remotely without issue. Art was responsive and flexible throughout our long-term stay, and we felt taken care of. Definitely make time to check out The Mystery Spot just down the road—it was a surprising highlight of our trip. If you’re open to a more offbeat, soulful kind of stay with strong artistic energy and don’t mind a bit of grit, stay here.

Janice’s apartment had gorgeous views and was a short walk to a lovely and walkable beach. The kitchen had everything we needed to make easy meals and the whole place was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

Nice hot tub and gas fireplace which we enjoyed every night! Our son is a surfer so we walked a couple blocks to the bluff to watch him. Great restaurants in the area and sites (surfing museum) to see. Abbot Square was a good venue to eat and enjoy music.

Fast easy check in. Place was great and as described. The host Dan was extremely helpful and responsive. The property is close to everything near the village. Plenty of room for the entire family. And property was very clean and inviting. Comes with all things needed. Will definitely try to stay here again.

We had such a beautiful stay! Shizuyo was so incredibly welcoming and had everything set up so cute for us. We felt like special guests, which made the trip that much more special. Super close to the beach, easily walkable, and a lovely wrap around patio to hangout on and enjoy the costal breeze. 10/10 would recommend staying here if you want a cute and cozy stay in Santa Cruz!

We really enjoyed our stay. It is clean and in a quiet area but walkable to stores and restaurants. Loved having 2 king beds and 2 bathrooms and dedicated parking spots. Would definitely stay again.

Kevin was a very responsive host who checked in with me during the stay. The place was lovely - light, bright and clean. Freshly updated and remodeled with a peek of the beautiful ocean out the windows. Definitely would stay here again.

Location, location, location!! Right across the street from the beach with a beach view out the bedroom window. Lots to do in walking distance. We loved our stay in Capitola!

We loved our weekend at Jamie's amazing apartment in Capitola! It was so easy to walk to the beach and we loved hanging out in the beautiful backyard with our little one. Perfect spot for our little family's getaway to the beach!

Kimber was a very friendly host and helped out when needed! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as it was the perfect, most comfortable place to come back to after a long day out.

We had a great time staying here. We had some trouble getting in the gate because even though Maria messaged me what the gate code was I kept thinking and looking back at their old gate code in the listing. Luckily we got it sorted out but it was a lil confusing at first. We also weren’t quite sure which way was ok to drive to the place. Like drive behind their house or cut right in front of their house to get to the place, there weren’t any instructions so we did both lol. We were also a lil bummed that there was no outside seating like shown in the pictures. We drove around their house a couple times trynna make sure we were at the right building because we were looking for the outside furniture for us to know we were at the right place. Once again we figured it out. It was overall a beautiful surrounding at the house and so many flowers. We had a great time and would stay again. I would recommend Maria’s place for sure so peaceful and quiet it was very very nice. Thank you Maria

Surf City - Capitola GEM, cozy little spot with all the creature co.forts of home. This property is like a Swiss Army Knife, every appliance and utensils you'd ever need for a comfortable stay. Love this place, clean, great furnishings for a quick getaway. Will definitely be back.

We had an amazing stay at Howard’s Place! Literally steps from the beach. Howard was very communicative and always responded if we reached out to him. The community is also amazing! We had an issue with the blinds not working and they came the next day and fixed them. They provide wheelbarrows for luggage and have a private pond. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Howard!

We stayed for just one night, but everything was perfect! The place was clean, cozy and exactly as described. The check in process was smooth and the host was kind. It was a short stay, but we felt very comfortable. The surrounding was also quiet especially at night. We slept peacefully. Highly recommended!❤️

Had a great stay! The place was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable trip. The host was responsive and helpful throughout. Only thing to note is that the walls are a bit thin, but that’s not the host’s fault—just something to keep in mind. Would definitely stay again!

Ann's place is awesome for exploring Monterey and the surrounding areas. It was great not having to worry about paying to park downtown. Everything you'd want to do is within walking distance, from the beaches to shopping and dining to the Aquarium. Ann was very accommodating and allowed for an earlier check in which was very much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!!

Great location - the unit is a timeshare in a nice resort near the beach. Very tidy, uncluttered and well appointed. Would definitely stay again.

Tom was excellent from start to finish. Everything that was advertised about the place was true, and he checked in with us thought the stay. Gladly recommend this stay for professionals or families visiting the Bay Area.
