House vacation rentals in Salem

The Nana-Tucket Inn is an absolutely gorgeous and pristine property with everything a family could need! It was perfect for our family while we were visiting New England. It was a great space for family time and our teenagers had plenty to do. Nancy and Joe are the perfect hosts! They are kind and extremely helpful while they maintain the beautiful property. They are not intrusive at all but are there if you need anything. During our stay, a huge storm blew through Massachusetts with extremely strong winds and tons of rain. Nancy and Joe had the mess made by the storm was cleaned up immediately by a professional crew the next morning so that we did not miss a single moment of the property amenities! Nancy also made us a blueberry crumble cake that was delicious and so kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we cannot wait to return during our next New England trip.

Great option when staying in Newton and right down the street from an incredible entrance to a hiking trail. Serge was a great host and kept us informed the entire trip.

Amy was very responsive and communicative. The house was clean and maps took us right to the home. It was too early in the season to enjoy the pool but it was pristine and would have been great for hot summer weather. Amy was wonderful with trying to accomodate any requests and we liked the location from easy access to Salem and within a one hour drive to Boston!

Had a great time in Rockport! Walkable down to Bearskin neck and the pool was great!

Super fun and eclectic house! What really made the stay were the owners, they are thoughtful and very responsive, they clearly care a lot about their guests!

Scott was very easy to communicate with, and he was very nice. They were so thoughtful and even left us a dozen eggs from their backyard chickens! The place was spacious and peaceful. Check in and checkout process was very easy!

Me and my family had a great time at Steve’s place. The weather was a little windy so it did interfere with our plans at the lake but Steves place made up for it with the great pool which was not that cold and lets not even say the hot tub was amazing! Steve was attentive and letting me know how to check in, how to check out and what needed to be done. Thanks!

Alexia was a top-notch host! She was extremely responsive. She replaced a broken pack-n-play for our son before bedtime, which was amazing to not have to worry about finding another option just prior to bedtime. The space was cute and clean and was just enough space for us with parking too. It is a short walk to the downtown area, with shops and restaurants. One challenge for us was the living room and kitchen of the lower unit is right below the bedrooms in this unit. This is unlikely to be a problem for most people, but with a toddler (and myself) sensitive to noise when sleeping, it was a challenge for us with a quite loud family that was staying below us. On the positive side, Alexia was extremely responsive about this situation and spoke to the family a few times, which did improve the situation for the rest of the trip. This to me is what makes her an excellent host. She genuinely seemed to care about us having a great experience. I would highly recommend her and her properties!

Charming home in a great location on Marblehead. The host was pleasant and attentive. The house was just as described, clean, and well appointed.

Wonderful Airbnb and host! We all agreed this was the most comfortable and well-equipped Airbnb we have stayed in! Albana was very quick to respond and super helpful. We loved sitting on the porch in the beautiful backyard drinking coffee from the abundant coffee bar!

Stayed here for 10 days in late November. My mom was transitioning from the hospital to rehab and then to her home. I worked all day everyday getting her place ready. John's Place came to be known as My Sanctuary at the end of the day. Very comfortable and very quiet. And John is a very nice, accommodating, compassionate guy. He asked about my mom everyday. I will definitely stay here for my next trip to the Boston area. Thanks for everything, John!

What a great stay!!! My bridal party got ready for my wedding here and we had such an amazing time! Spacious, great light, easy to find. Definitely recommend to vacationers and wedding parties!

We had the most wonderful time at this beautiful home in Danvers! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how thoughtfully appointed and welcoming the space was. The house truly had everything we could possibly need - the kitchen was fully stocked with quality cookware and appliances, the bedrooms were comfortable with fresh linens, and all the little touches throughout made it feel like a home away from home. What struck us most was how incredibly relaxing the atmosphere was. Whether we were enjoying our morning coffee or unwinding in the evening, the space just had this peaceful, rejuvenating quality that made it hard to leave. The layout was perfect for our group, and every room was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The location worked perfectly for our plans, and we loved having such a comfortable base to return to each day. We were especially thankful for the host's check-in flexibility as we were traveling with elderly parents.

This property was beautiful. We had the greatest time ever! Thank you to Kimberly for being an awesome host. We would love to return to this property if we are in the Boston area :) 10/10

The views from the front of the house, front porch and balcony are spectacular beyond any picture's ability to capture. Drinking coffee on the front porch watching the tides and boaters come up and down the Ipswitch river would have made coming here worth it just for that. Lots of birds and immensely peaceful. The house is a perfect vacation home, beautiful, tastefully decorated, with every reasonable amenity and Peter is a fantastic host. Ive stayed in a lot of AirBNBs including some very expensive ones and this is a great example for the experience done right. If you were going to buy and outfit a vacation home for your own use this is how you would do it.

Oh my goodness. This place was a DREAM. Such a beautiful home with a view you can’t top. My husband and I stayed with our children and two friends for an east coast summer getaway and we could not have found a better place. Awesome setup, view, and Gaby could not have been more helpful. We would love to stay here again.

My husband and I were blown away McKenna’s place — every detail was thought of, it was clean, comfortable and cozy, as well as super convenient to the places we wanted to go in Rockport. McKenna reached out ahead of time and was easy to contact. There is not one thing we’d change. Amazing stay! I know without a doubt we will book 6 Tuna Wharf again in the future.

This house was in the perfect location. Our daughter’s wedding was 10 minutes away in Nahant, the after party was at the Mission Bay and we could walk from the Airbnb. Located across the street from a beautiful beach, great for walking. Great restaurants nearby. The property was very clean and luxurious. Loved the coffee bar, snacks and water provided. We enjoyed sitting on the patio with a cocktail; to enjoy the beautiful view!

Perfect Stay! Booked The Anchor for a quick one-night getaway, and it absolutely delivered. The place was spotless, clean from top to bottom — not a single complaint. The location is perfect, and the sunset view from the house was unreal. Couldn’t have asked for a better setup. If you're looking for a modern, clean, comfortable, and well-located spot in Hampton Beach, this is it. Highly recommend, will be staying again!

Our family of 7 came out to visit Salem & Boston and I came across this lovely home in Marblehead. It was about a 10 minute drive to Salem so it was very convenient. The home was very clean, the beds were comfortable and it was nicely spread out so we all felt like we had our own space during our down time. Miriam was a very responsive host and she was extremely accommodating and flexible. We would definitely recommend this home and would stay again!

Ina and Eddy were excellent hosts! They made sure we had no issues during our stay and check-in was seamless, even though we arrived after 9pm due to horrible traffic and bad weather. The home was spotless, smelled nice, and was more roomy than we expected. They also accommodated us ahead of time with an extra bed since we had one more guest than the listing. The best part is that they live very close-by and we knew we could rely on them if anything came up (luckily nothing did). Would definitely book this location next time we visit Boston and need a place to stay.
