Beachfront vacation rentals in Salem

The views this home offers are beautiful. It is a nice neighborhood for walking a dog. The home has everything you would need. The host is very responsive.

We loved our stay despite it being rainy and cloudy week. The house has all the amenities listed and kitchen was well stacked in terms of utensils. Every room had wardrobe and storage. There was even vacuum to clean, we stayed 4 nights. Mattress was comfy and bed didn’t make any noise. All rooms have proper shades. Host is very responsive. On 1st night, AC was not working but Daryl got it fixed the 1st thing in morning by calling the contractor. Despite AC not working, there was fan which made the temperature really comfy even on 1st night. The apartment was spot cleaned without even a single spot of dust. Last but not least, Daryl is always responsive via messages and made our stay really comforting. We would love to come back here.

I can’t thank you enough for letting me stay in this beautiful location. I’ve been going through chemo treatment and trying to find beautiful places in between treatment to enjoy. This place was a fav. Which I sort of want to keep to myself. I didn’t have a lot of energy to do a lot but it was exactly what I needed. Parked my car and left it behind. Watched the tide, walked around a beautiful place with my dog. I couldn’t ask for more.

Perfect place for our group of 6 to stay whiling visiting family. Walkable to many local attractions and having a parking space was luxury after driving to many of the surrounding towns. Kitchen was stocked with perfect amenities (my kids loved the snack selection and I was thankful for the coffee bar). Would definitely stay again if we return to Swampscott.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mermaid Surf Bungalow. The house was exactly as pictured and very clean. The views of the marsh and ocean beyond are terrific. The location is great, so close to everything. Shaws market is just around the corner. For a great pizza or sub be sure to visit Surfside subs which is about 3 minutes up the road. We also like Midori Chinese/Japanese restaurant ( thanks to the owner for the recommendation) We had a delicious lunch with the best fried whole clams at the Lobster of Gloucester, a restaurant that should not be missed if your staying in Gloucester. Both restaurants are just 5 or 10 minutes from the house. Another fun trip is the road out the Eastern Point Lighthouse and a walk on the jetty. Just ignore the private road signs that try to scare you off, the road is public and open to everyone all the way to the lighthouse.

We had the best time in Arlington this past week! We came for the Boston marathon. The place was beautiful and the location was perfect. It was close to Boston but far enough out for the peace and quiet. Doug and Hope were the most exceptional hosts. They were accommodating and very responsive. They went above and beyond to make our stay and everything we needed as easy as possible. They were so great and we hope to come back in the future!!

We had a great stay at this house! Instructions for getting in were very clear and Alex was super responsive/helpful. The neighborhood is nice and a very short walk (or drive) to Revere Beach. There's also a lot to check out in surrounding areas and a short 20 min drive into Boston! Great spot for a family to stay. We would definitely go back and stay again!

Perfect stay in Rockport. Andree’s place is in such a fantastic location. It felt like we had front row seats to see the sunset - the pier is the shortest walk from your front door. Our trip was all about relaxation and this home’s ambiance added to that. A+

Great location, close by to the beach and right at the beginning of all the shops and food. We will be back!

We had a wonderful vacation in NH especially due to the beautiful condo we stayed in. Every morning we took a short walk to the beach at sunrise. We also enjoyed sitting out on the deck overlooking the pool as well. It was a short drive to most places of interest, shops and restaurants. Our host Sue was very responsive via text. The place was clean and full of many things to help make our stay special. We’ll definitely be back in the future.

Zachary was very responsive and attentive to our needs which were very minimal. Very clean and well presented. Great location out of the midstream of chaos of the strip but close enough to get there. Walk to the beach short and can get a glimpse of the water from the room but would be better a floor or two up. Well furnished with all cooking supplies. Ice maker included which was a plus. Enjoyed our time. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We love the location since it affords us quick access to the beach as well as other areas we have stayed over the years. Brianna is a super host and communicates well with us throughout the whole experience. We certainly will be back.

We stay at Hampton Beach every year for a few days. This has by far been the best. It seemed we were at home. Copmmunication with the owner and the facility was exceptional.

Loved our stay at Diana’s place- we were celebrating my bachelorette party. It was nice to be so close to downtown Salem but also on a private street- it’s walkable or a 5 min or less uber drive away. The place has really cool water views out the windows! We had a small fire alarm issue but Diana was very helpful and responsive. I would recommend trying the sauna it was very relaxing!

We stayed at Blue Magnolia to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We were a group of 5 women and had plenty of room. It was so comfortable and clean. Michael was incredibly helpful with directions and answered all questions quickly. My group would stay again. We loved our stay.

Lovely location and beautifully renovated home. Kitchen well appointed. Beds comfortable. Host very responsive. Would return.

Harbor House is a great place, conveniently located near downtown, shops, restaurants, and bars are walkable, nice ocean view from the upstairs living room, its an excellent choice for your visit to Gloucester

We had a lovely stay and Diana was super helpful and accommodating. She even pulled out a crib for our little one. The space is great and super comfy! It was amazing to be a 2min walk from the beach and 5min from others! Diana provided beach towels and lots of amenities which was great for our family. Would highly recommend!!

A Peaceful Getaway at Rocky Neck Allie’s place was exactly what we needed. A peaceful, cozy retreat that gave us the space to truly reconnect. Tucked away in a beautiful spot, it felt like a hidden gem. Everything was warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully set up. Highly recommended for anyone looking to slow down and find stillness.

I can't say enough good things about JJ's place! I stayed here for two amazing months, and would absolutely recommend it for both short and long-term stays. It's so close to everything!! I walked into town all the time, to the wharf, to the water and Willows park and Winter Island. There were so many amazing restaurants and cafes nearby - Ziggy's donuts is pretty much next door, and I highly recommend Mercy Tavern and the Clam Shack (both close). It was also really easy to get to the station and from there less than an hour to Boston or Rockport. There was so much to do around Salem and this was the perfect homebase for me. JJ was so responsive and friendly, from the moment I arrived and throughout my stay. Also as a solo traveler who works remotely, I felt so safe here and the WiFi was super fast. 100% recommend, I loved my stay here.
