Lake house vacation rentals in Salem

Such a beautiful location on the lake in the lovely town of Derry. The place was spotless and had all the amenities, nothing has been forgotten. Beds were cozy and great bunks for the kids. It snowed outside but inside was lovely and warm. And the hot tub was amazing! So relaxing sitting in the tub looking out to the lake. Beautiful views from the top floor as you wake up in the morning. Highly recommend Shawn’s place. Would definitely stay again.

Great location! Visited my daughter at Wellesley and loved the convenience of getting to/from the college and the walking proximity to town! Easy to get to the home, and Patty was very responsive and helpful through my stay

We had a great stay in this luxurious house by a lake. The view of the lake from many areas of the house (including many bedrooms and the dining area) is amazing. The house is very spacious (4 levels) with large bedrooms. Every bedroom has an attached bathroom which helped us a lot since we were a party of 9. The house is tastefully furnished and very well maintained. The kitchen is large and well equipped. The neighborhood is safe though a bit of a drive from main Boston areas like Cambridge (~30 minutes). This is a perfect place if you have many in your party and want to unwind in a super comfortable spacious house. The weather was not great so we could not spend time in the large well-kept backyard and explore the lake. The hosts live in the house but are barely noticeable. They are a friendly couple. Thank you Kevin and Jessie for hosting us!

We flew out as a group of 6 for a friend’s wedding and it was the perfect spot for us! We were within 15-20 minutes of every destination we needed to get to. The house was perfect sized for us, the views were absolutely breathtaking and Amy and Eric were fantastic hosts. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip! Thank you for having us! ❤️

Fantastic spot for a family or friend trip. There was ample room for our group of 6 adults. The home was immaculate with spectacular water views. We even used the paddle boat to explore the pond. We didn’t use the fire pit due to high winds but it is a really cool fire pit for another less windy visit. Looking forward to returning in the summer to enjoy the water.

My wife and I decided to stay in the area for a quick trip. Carol was extremely proactive and communicated with us every step of the way . She was also extremely flexible regarding our check in time . The house was beautiful and extremely clean . We had full privacy as well! We will definitely stay again !

Although we were extremely busy during our stay, it was very nice to come back and relax!! We loved the view of the lake and the main bedroom was very comfortable. It was great having a full size washer and dryer as well!! And with the cold mornings, the house was nice and warm. The instant hot water was much appreciated for the shower too!! Our host checked in with us to make sure we didn't need anything while we were there. Very nice and cozy.... The location was perfect for our running around....Will look forward to staying again!!

The house was nicely located facing a lovely park and lake. The location was excellent and fit our needs perfectly. We hope to return!

Katy was super responsive. Got there much later than anticipated but answered us immediately when we had a question. She was super flexible about letting us dock our boat there for even later than checkout. The space is very nice. Great view! Would definitely stay again.

My family and I had a great stay at Shawn’s place. The house was clean, newly updated, and fit our needs just fine. There was a mostly fenced in yard in the back which was great for the dog and we enjoyed on a nice afternoon. We were pleasantly surprised how close it was to everything. It was 5 mins to the train station and about a 30 minute train ride to north station. Aside from Boston, we found all sorts of things to do in the nearby surroundings including arcades, plenty of restaurants and the zoo. The nearby park, lake, and playground were a big hit with the kids. We would recommend to anyone looking to be accessible to Boston but also have a suburban experience and access to everything MA has to offer. We look forward to coming back!

the House was beautiful. The Beds where comfortable and the house where spotless. I wish we could been there when it was warmer so we could take advantage of the lake...Evelyn was always responding right away... We would rent this house again.

legitimately on the lake to the point you could technically fish from the dining area. Beautiful view and a nice deck. everything was clean and exactly as it sounds when reading the description. I would absolutely stay here again!

My friends and I went for a weekend trip and had such a great time. Steve responded quickly to messages and made it clear that if we had any questions, to reach out at any time. Such a great place!

Great house. Walkable to dunks as well as canobie. Also next to dunks is a rail trail walk/run/bike path that seemed nice. We didn’t explore the whole thing but a nice plus for morning exercise. We enjoyed a bit of basketball in the yard too. Plus the house has TVs in every room so all can enjoy a show. Great spot, great house.

Betsy’s home was wonderful. I had the whole first floor home with private entries and porches. The home is beautiful, it has quality finishes and furnishings. Loved the kitchen, bathroom and the bedroom has a very comfortable bed. Betsy even had the home decorated with a Xmas tree and candles, there was coffee, spices and more in the kitchen. It’s a great place and I plan on returning when I come to the Boston area. It’s an easy walk to the commuter rail that takes you to the North Station. I really appreciate Betsy’s hospitality. The space is a nice escape from the busyness of the city, but still close enough for easy access. Adam was accommodating to our changing plans, and helpful when we asked for advice!

20 White Pine Knoll was wonderful. We had an extended stay while we closed on our new house. Karen was always responsive and extremely helpful. If we decide to come back to Summer Village, 20 White Pine Knoll will be where we stay! Highly recommended.

Jason’s home was just like the description. It was a comfortable place to host our visit to Boston.
