Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Shibuya, 9-16 min direct access to Saikyo Line, Japanese large apartment for 2-9 people/Hoshi no Sono 3rd Floor 301

We enjoyed our stay at this place. The place itself was clean and everything was just like in the pictures. We felt right at home. It's easy to find thanks to Xuan's descriptions. Public transport is within walking distance, same as stores and restaurants. There is nothing much to say other than we would like to come back if we ever visit Japan again!
The cozy bedroom features two spacious beds dressed in light-colored linens. Soft pillows are positioned at the head of each bed. Natural light filters through a large window, complemented by light curtains. A wardrobe is visible against the wall, enhancing the room's functionality.

Cozy and Windy Homestay/Maximum 8 people/Exclusive One House Building/Near Station/Free WiFi/Near Park Shrine

MichaelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
It was in a nice quiet area with a playground right in front of the place so it was good for my son whenever he wanted to play. Downside would be that you have to walk a long hill, so if you have a lot of luggage I say take a taxi. There is also bus transportation nearby that takes you to the nearby train station. The host is responsive and was able to take care of mishaps right away that happened on our stay. Will stay again if given the opportunity.

I had an excellent stay at this homestay! The house was clean, cozy, and fully equipped with all the necessary facilities for a comfortable visit. Everything was well-prepared and thoughtfully arranged. One major highlight was the bus stop literally right in front of the house, making it extremely convenient to travel around. The bus service was efficient and punctual, which made exploring the area so easy. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly—always available when needed and went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stress-free and pleasant stay!

Recommended accommodation There was a clean, large room and three baths, and it was comfortable. The feather duster and pizza oven were also fun. The bedding was clean, but it was very thin, and it was a shame that the tool for putting pizza in the oven was broken.

IKEBUKURO Comfy room for travellers

UmbertoRating, 5 stars6 months ago
I was very Happy here The host even came to Pick me up at the Train Station, and showed everything in the apartment to me. I also made new Friends there The Place feels very much like a home and not like some Sterile Hotel-Like Airbnb or something. I really Enjoyed my stay here and will be coming back .
The entrance of the villa is marked by a traditional sign displaying '草山' in elegant calligraphy. A bamboo screen is visible alongside a wooden door, which features a sliding glass panel. Subtle textures of stone and wood create a welcoming entryway.

The house was a lovely base for our stay in Tokyo. We spent 5 days there and felt right at home. It is small, so if you’re after a lot of space this won’t be right for you; the shower and bathroom are a bit of a squeeze (but ok as only for a few days). We used the upstairs for bedrooms and kept the downstairs as living space only. There was enough in the kitchen that we could have a few meals in. It is a bit further out- we always had to add 30-60 minutes to our journey depending on where we were and what train ticket we had purchased, but it’s only 10 minutes from the station and it never felt like a long way out of town. It’s a very peaceful neighbourhood though and in cherry blossom season (which we were in) looks beautiful. Recommend as a good space for families or those not wanting to stay in the bustling city.

This house is one of the best choice in my trip. My family have had a wonderful living experience in Tokyo. The owner is super helpful, kindness and careing. She told us how to take the train from the airport to the station, picked up us from the station to the house, proactively provided the baby bed, and installed the gate for avoiding baby rolling down from the stairs. She always gave timely respond when we need help. The house is warm, tidy, clean and nearby the station. We really happy for living this house and have had a wonderful trip.

Traditional Japanese free wifi in Tokyo, rarely found in Tokyo

My aunt is very warm and responsible, making people feel at home, listening to her aunt's experiences and stories are also very attractive, I highly recommend friends who come to Tokyo for the first time to live, my aunt can provide quite effective help, and at the same time, my aunt creates a very friendly exchange atmosphere, I am still worried about the privacy of the accommodation and socialization, but the fact that everyone enters this environment is naturally the motivation of communication. When I left, my aunt also sent me a carefully packed chocolate, and I was flattered, in short, definitely more value for money than staying here than staying at a hotel, highly recommended.
