Vacation rentals with lake access in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer

We loved this place with it's large, beautiful garden full of little nooks to sit in and it's spectacular view of the water. The house had everything we needed and was perfect for children. The kitchen was well equipped, the rest of the house clean and nicely furnished. There is a lovely little bakery nearby. What we enjoyed most was the peaceful and picturesque surroundings and the Olivier and his wife gave us excellent suggestions for things to do and answered all our questions promptly.

We had a great time at Anna's place, Very pleasant, bright and functional house. Activities and shops within walking or cycling distance! A magnificent view that makes the place magical even in rainy weather! Thank you to Lydie for the welcome.

An ideal stay to recharge your batteries, peaceful, with the jaccuzi offered at this accommodation which allowed complete relaxation. Raphaël, smiling and friendly, opens the door of the accommodation with a bottle of champagne on the table… what more could you ask for.

A little away from the city but very close, this little haven lived up to the rest we were looking for (but we are in December, I might not say the same in summer!) Well-placed house with water view. 3 well-appointed floors. Very nice welcome bottle! Perfect for a quiet break, especially as the house heats up quickly. Perfect and well-explained self check-in (same for checkout). Very friendly and welcoming environment. I really want to come back.

We had a great time at Gregory's place. The accommodation is very well equipped and it is paradise for a moment in the green. My 2 boys aged 13 and 16 spent 2 days fishing directly from the terrace and canoeing. The best.

Great stay in this corner of heaven. Marie France is very available, she deserves her title of Superhost! The cottage is as described, we stayed there with our 2 daughters aged 11 and 15, an installation in the living room (extendable curtain) allows to insulate a minimum of the living room/night area from the rest of the apartment. The parent sleeping area has plenty of storage and direct access to the outside. The view is beautiful, and the name “feet in the water” is justified. The proximity to Istres which has all the necessary shops is pleasant. The sea is a little 1/2 hour away and the Estaque massif is to be discovered for hiking enthusiasts. We recommend this accommodation for its tranquility, its wonderful view and the welcome of the host Marie France .

We had a great time, Sandra was very welcoming, the apartment is very nice, well-equipped and in a good location with beautiful views. We particularly appreciated the flexibility in check-in and check-out times and the availability of bicycles!

Katarina and Lars' apartment is very nice, completely renovated and in all respects as described . The view of the pond of Thau is superb and the terrace is nice to watch the sunset. We spent the new year week there and enjoyed the small village of Bouzigues which has a lot of charm. Free parking is also appreciated as long as you avoid restaurant schedules where it can be a little more difficult to find space. In conclusion, it's difficult to be disappointed with this stay and we will gladly go back Sarah and Jean Marc

We stayed 5 weeks at Nicolas's, in low season, and enjoyed our stay. Its accommodation has an ideal location to enjoy a quiet environment (the Ponant), while remaining close to all services/restaurants, downtown and the beach (20 mins walk). The accommodation had everything you needed, even if it's actually a little smaller than it looks in the photos, especially the bedroom where you can't walk around the bed. Parking is available without a reservation, and it is suggested to arrive early to find a spot. The private garage parking, included in the accommodation, was too small for our Passat. So we couldn't take advantage of it. Neighbors can be quite noisy sometimes. We had some problems with the washing machine and a flood due to a bad connection in the dishwasher. Nicolas was responsive and quickly provided solutions to problems.

We had a great time . The listing is as described. Very well equipped and functional with beautiful views of the pond of Thau. The place is quiet , you can leave your car and walk to downtown Sète. We stayed in Margaux's beautiful apartment for 4 days, which we found very pleasant. The surroundings with the lagoons and the sea are of course special. Sète is also a nice place to visit

Adelaide's accommodation is well arranged and tastefully decorated and clean. She took care to leave us fresh water and some treats, towels and sheets. The accommodation is well located and not too far from the big cities. You won't be disappointed, I'd just say the fridge isn't the best. Thank you for your kindness.

We had a pleasant stay at Sophie's. The house is extremely clean and quiet. The accommodation is well equipped and very well heated. The edge of the pond as well as many shops are reached by foot. Everything was perfect!

Sylvie was a really great host! We did not met her in person but everything was organized so well. The house and garden are great. We actually did not use the full space of the house because the garden is a great place to have a barbecue, just relax in the outdoor chairs or we brought our own hammock which we hang between the trees. There are a lot of moskitos but in the house there are nets, so no blame to Sylvie this is great!

We felt very comfortable with Corinne. The apartment was great. Everything was clean. There was enough space for 4 adults and 2 kids. The location is great. 5min to the beach, bakery and restaurants are minutes away. Thank you for the great stay!

The view from the house is amazing and it’s so peaceful. One of the nicest settings we’ve stayed in at an Airbnb. We found plenty of things to do in the local area with our young children and particularly enjoyed swimming in the lake - it’s surprisingly very warm! We would highly recommend the house.
