Our fourth stay at Erik's will leave us, like the previous ones, an indelible mark. Erik is a welcoming, warm, very attentive and, at the same time, very discreet host. The home is perfect, well furnished, nothing is missing. The natural setting, very pleasant, varies according to the seasons. Usually, coming to La Toussaint, we appreciate the colors of autumn. This time, at the end of May, we found beautiful roses that were widely blooming and we discovered, at night, the concert of frogs and toads because, as Erik explained to us, it is, for them, the 🧡 mating season. In the morning, as always, we were charmed by the birds' singing and merry-go-round. So, if you want to live in symbiosis with Nature, in complete freedom, and know the sweetness of honey that welcomes you on arrival, remember the name of this charming cottage: "LA RUCHE"

This is the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed. The house itself is a work of art and it has everything you need to feel right at home. The garden right outside your door makes you feel like you’re living in a fairy tail. The place is so quiet and peaceful, all you can hear is the sound of birds and the stream that runs passed the garden. Andreas and Gabriella are sweet and kind and they were available whenever we needed them, but the place still feels like a totally private Airbnb. There is so much hiking and exploring to do in the surrounding areas, we spend a full day exploring Chartreuse and it was spectacular. Overall, if you’re debating whether you should stay here, do it! It was a highlight of our trip.

Insanely beautiful house and garden, ecologically exemplary, in wonderful surroundings, soothing birdsong, hedgehogs passing by at dusk, beautiful art, great amenities (organic coffee, teas, goat's milk soap, flowers, welcome walnuts). Extremely courteous and lovely hostess Christelle.

Sadly this was just an overnight stop for us, on our way down to Italy. It would be a great place to spend more time. We had a great sleep, windows open, very peaceful. Great welcome feel and had a nice luxurious feel. Strongly recommended if you are in this part of the world.
