Absolutely idyllic. Even better than the photos suggested. A beautiful, well-equipped cottage set within peaceful gardens. The heated pool was fantastic and a big hit with the whole family. If you are happy to drive 40-60 minutes, you can visit some beautiful and interesting places, including Mont-St-Michel, Granville, St-Mere-Eglise, Fougeres. In short, we had a wonderful time and wouldn’t hesitate to return. If you’re looking for relaxation, I highly recommend Taco’s place.

Jeanette and Brian’s house is a perfect getaway for a couple for a short or long stay. Right from the moment we arrived we were so warmly greeted by Jeanette and Brian and had a heated Nordic spa waiting for us to relax in! The house is crafted and decorated with taste, complete with a well-equipped kitchenette, comfortable double bed and a modern bathroom. We fell for the log heated stove and of course treated ourselves to evenings enjoying the spa and taking in the delightful sunset. The location is ideal for those wanting to recharge the batteries enjoying nature, hikes and the cosy eateries in nearby villages and towns such as Villedieu-les-Poeles. We will be definitely returning as there is so much more to see, not to mention enjoying the wonderful spa and the friendliness shown by Jeanette and Brian. Thank you so much for hosting us!

Having just stayed here for almost two weeks, I can highly recommend this superb place! I was working during our stay, and the wifi connection is superb; fast, faultless, allowing for numerous Teams/Zoom calls. Aurelien even offered me an office chair to make working that little bit more comfortable. The layout is just as you see, but you'll be surprised by how spacious and contemporary the vibe is. That's one super-comfy bed too, with a good sleep guaranteed. Everything you need in the kitchen should you wish to eat-in, but Villedieu-les-Poelles is a short driver away, with plenty of choice for eating. It's also home to some amazing copper/steel cookware producers, with excellent factory shops. There's a good 2km circular walk from the house, taking in some beautiful countryside and the small village of La Chapelle. Anyone who likes horses can take advantage of the riding school just down the road, too. Well situated for visits to the coast as well. Terrific place!

Pleasant, functional and impeccably clean house. The amenities are of quality and as described. The hosts are very welcoming, available and accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this rental!
