Le Fenil Gite

We are a small independently run campsite nestled in the heart of the hamlet of Montmérac situated amidst vineyards, walnut groves, cornfields and sunflower fields. The village of Baignes is just 5km south or the market town of Barbezieux is just 8km away. We are about 10km from the national route N10 which is half an hour from Angouleme. Cognac Golf course is around 36km away and Hirondelle Golf Course is 42 km. The nearest airport is Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport, 90 km from the accommodation.

Located in the middle of the vineyards in the south of the Charente Maritime, the cottage has been renovated while thinking about your comfort. We preserve its old character by keeping the old wooden frames as well as the rubble walls. You will find 3 bedrooms for 6 people and a heated swimming pool. When you open the dome's door, the Cognac countryside welcomes you with open arms, and 5 minutes away is the city of Cognac with its wine tourism discoveries and other great places that we will be happy to share with you. Adjacent to our winery, you can come and discover the distillery, the tractors, etc. Or stay as a couple and enjoy moments suspended in time.
