It's the perfect base for exploring the mines of Botallack, where Poldark was filmed and is also close to many local beaches including Sennen Cove and Porthcurno. We have lovingly restored this one bedroom cottage from its previous life as a Fisherman's cottage to offer a perfect romantic retreat for two. Perfect for a lazy Spring or Summer break or curl up by the wood burner during cooler months. And with all the little extras to make your stay truly memorable

The Old Steam House
The Old Steam House (originally built to house a vintage steam-powered car) has been newly converted into a gorgeous, detached, architect designed 1 bedroom property, set in the mature garden of a large Victorian house. The granite building is light and airy with large south-facing windows, high ceilings, wood burner, kingsize bed, excellent shower and underfloor heating throughout. Charming cottage in historic Porthcurno valley.
Nestled in the historic valley of Porthcurno, Telegraph Cottage was once the coach house & stables for the telegraph station that connected this Cornish village to the world. Visitors come here for its history, culture, and scenery — and Telegraph Cottage is the perfect base to experience it all.
