Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Saint John's

We (a couple) stayed at the Hummingbird Villa April 2025 and had a great stay. The villa was very accurately described by the photos and was modern and clean. The two decks had a beautiful view of the sunset - watching the sunset each night was our favorite part of the trip! Debbie was very communicative. We had a super minor maintenance issue, which Debbie resolved quickly and easily. The condo is about 10-15mins outside of St. Johns, which makes for a peaceful surrounding, but you will definitely need to rent a car to stay here. Our favorite beach was Deep Bay beach, which was a 5 minute drive further down the road on which the condo complex is located. Definitely worth checking out and make sure you get a fresh grilled lobster from Just Grillin'!

What a wonderful stay we had! Cheri is an outstanding host! She gave us recommendations, checked on us often and was available for any questions we had and was very helpful! The Villa is exactly as described and the pictures are accurate. Beautiful, clean, comfortable home, well appointed with everything you need. The pool is perfect for cooling off on a hot day or relaxing in the evening and our kids loved it. We would definitely stay again. Long Bay is a short walk away and beautiful for swimming. The property is private and peaceful and feels homey. 10 out of 10!

We were not even there 5min and my SO had her phone out planning a return stay for next year with family. That’s how nice this place is. From the first minute in the villa to the last minute of our stay, everything was awesome. Everything needed for a truly comfortable stay is there. Now I know why there are so many great reviews. GT

Jamila was readily available ensuring our stay was comfortable. House was clean and light Atmosphere was calming and relaxing. Peaceful and quiet environment, loved it! Very modern space and furniture. Greatest outdoor space. Close to town, grocery stores, runaway beach and restaurants. Overall excellent. We highly recommend this place to stay in Antigua. We would definitely stay here again as our first choice.

I had an amazing stay in your home! The host was incredibly accommodating, ensuring everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. The property itself is surrounded by breathtaking scenery, making it the perfect getaway for relaxation. One of the highlights was the proximity to stunning local beaches—just a short trip away. The area also felt very safe, giving me peace of mind throughout my stay. Overall, this Airbnb exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and scenic escape!

The villa was wonderful! The complex was quiet and beautiful. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Well stocked kitchen. Natasha was excellent! We got a little confused getting there but she was waiting for us and guided us in to the complex. She helped us arrange a car rental and masseuse and was very fast to respond to questions and with suggestions. Even brought over a cooler for us to take to the beach. A huge fruit and snack basket was waiting for us which was amazing! The location was further from everything (grocery store, restaurants, beaches, etc) than I thought (35 +minutes) but once I got used to driving on the left side of the road and figured out our way around, it was ok and every trip out was an adventure! The pool was great for doing laps and the beach is lovely with loungers and umbrellas provided. We didn't end up eating at the restaurant because it was only open for lunch (12-5) but it looked good - beautiful setting! Highly recommend & would love to go back!

Alyson and Tony are wonderful hosts. We made a stop at grocery store en route and he met us there to guide us to the house, which is an an primo location in a nice neighborhood. Upon arrival he and Alyson were very welcoming and extremely helpful. The house is exactly as described and depicted - great living area and kitchen downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. The private yard made for excellent security and the tropical foliage was so cool, especially with the well-maintained plunge pool that we used often. On our first night we walked down to the excellent Fox House restaurant. While dining on the porch a big downpour came. A little while later Alyson arrived to check that we were ok and not caught in it. Her thoughtfulness and kind heart did not go unnoticed. The best is that the house is so close to several spectacular beaches. We liked Darkwood the best of them. Jolly Harbour is just a mile or so away, too. Thanks Alyson and Tony for making our stay so wonderful!

Arian’s Modern House was breathtaking. My family and I loved it so much that we have decided to visit it again. Our visit to Antigua was to celebrate my son’s graduation. Arian’s home was a 10/10 for us. We loved that her yard had so many fruit trees. The view was amazing. She kept us updated on what was happening in the neighborhood. Great host. I’m going to be recommending her place to my friends and family. Thank you Arian for making our Antigua trip so special.

Natasha, the concierge, was outstanding. She helped us with reservations, flat tires, and proactively guidance. Absolutely wonderful and helped make the trip special. The condo itself was as described and the pictures are accurate. The bedrooms have air conditioning which was much needed. The rooms are spacious and it was nice to have the outdoor patio with a table for eating. There were no cushions for the outdoor furniture and loungers, and the primary bedroom balcony had no chairs. Be aware, you cannot see the water when seated on any balcony: the concrete railing is too high. We were aware when we booked, but note the resort is on a secluded part of the island so it’s not walkable. You have to drive to any groceries / provisions. The Breeze restaurant is not open every night of the week. It’s a lovely spot and the food was good.

Danielle’s apartment is spacious with a wonderful view in a quiet neighborhood. There are many restaurants and beaches to choose from that are close by. Danielle was very responsive and helpful with any inquires/ questions throughout our stay. Would highly recommend it!

Simona is a dedicated and really friendly host who cares about the well-being of her guests. The apartment is very clean. Simona helped us communicate with different tours for our bookings. Also, it's always available. I would recommend this apartment in which we were very comfortable. The view of the mountains is splendid and it is so nice to spend our evenings watching the beautiful starry sky. The location is very well located. This was a great stay!

Ralph's place certainly has the WOW factor. The outdoor area with infinity pool overlooking the bay was just glorious. We were fortunate to be the only ones staying here so had this area all to ourselves. The kitchen was well appointed, plenty of space inside and nicely decorated. You will need a car to get around. Ralph was always responsive. Would recommend staying here.

If you’re seeking all the pleasantries for fun and a relaxing time you’ve got to try this awesome place. Just tranquil and wonderful.

We loved it here! We spent a week driving around the entire island - and while a lot of places are very beautiful and fun, we kept thinking how happy we were to stay in Dickenson Bay. The beach is right next to the resort - literally a minute away. The grounds are impeccable lots of pretty flowers, bushes and trees, with multiple workers taking care of the grounds daily. It’s fenced and felt very secure, with very pleasant security guards. Overall, can’t recommend this area and specifically this unit enough. There are 2 restaurants right next to the place, one also operating a bar. They have down-time between lunch and dinner (4 to 6) and we found that often places wanted reservations even when fairly empty. We did rent a car and would recommend you do the same, unless you are skittish about left-side driving and island roads. While the room is a little dated and isn’t fancy, it was perfect for our family of 3, a fantastic “home base” to explore the island from!

RoseMarie’s apartment is a true home-away-from-home. It is spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. The location is good; it takes just a few minutes to walk to the beach which is spectacular and was not at all crowded when we visited (in mid May). There are not many amenities in the immediate area but there are several good restaurants at the local resorts which are walking distance. Rosemarie is an incredible host. She communicated clearly and kept in touch during our visit. She also kindly left us a care package of grocery items which was very welcome. All in all, I highly recommend RoseMarie’s apartment if you want a peaceful stay and a comfortable place to hang out near a gorgeous beach. We would definitely stay again!

Stayed for 11 nights at the Magic View Apartments and it was really nice - in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, the apartment matches perfectly to the pictures shown here. We had a very warm welcome - Edwin is a great host, very responsive, polite and always available. The apartment is very well kept, fully equiped with everything you might need for your holidays - and the location is great: you're never more than 25 min away from all the nice sports on the island. The access is made through a dirt road (a SUV is the best option to drive around the island), but the view is great!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! It was the perfect getaway, with everything we needed just a short 5-minute walk from the beach. The location was ideal, and the space itself was cozy and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better spot to relax and enjoy the sun with the kids. Beautiful view all day around. Liz was always super responsive and cam by one time to check on a matter that was immediately resolved. We would love to stay here again :) Thank you Liz and your co-hosts!!!

Sarah was very responsive and very helpful, throughout. The location is perfect, the Villa is very nice and spacious, with a spacious balcony overlooking the pond to one side and the beach to another side. The beautiful Dickenson Bay Beach is only one minute’s walking distance. The kitchen has everything required for the self-catering needs, bathrooms and bedrooms are very satisfactory. The whole place is very welcoming.

This villa is perfectly located right on one of the best beaches in Antigua. The setting is absolutely stunning-just steps from the soft white sand and crystal-clear water. The villa itself is modern, spotless, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. There are a couple of restaurants on-site that are convenient and enjoyable, but Gayle also provided some fantastic local recommendations that were absolutely brilliant. Gayle is an amazing host-warm, helpful, and incredibly responsive. She went out of her way to make sure everything ran smoothly, and even accommodated a late check-out due to my evening flight, which I truly appreciated. This place far exceeded my expectations-it's truly heaven on Earth, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Looking at photos is one thing, but opening the door of Lorraines flat and actually being there was somehign else. Omg!!!! I cannot wait to be back . Lorraines flat is just perfect , the loaction , the decor, the comfort, the space , the facilties to cook . Lorraine left water and snacks and coffee and tea and milk ready for me . The balcony opens up and the whole kitchen and sitting area and balcony become one big open plan area. The view is breathtaking. Lorraine is always present , and replies immediately. Thank you Thank you Thank you . Everything was so nice . The gardens , the pool , Atta the gardener is lovely and tells you all about the garden and the big avocato tree. I could go on and on here but I will let all of you discover the wonders of Lorraines place by yourselves . I will definitely be back very soon . Thank you Lorraine for being and amazing host . This home was clean, free of clutter, peaceful, and had an amazing view. we had morning coffee, breakfast, and dinner most nights outside looking at the ocean. Beach and cook shops are about a 15 minute walk, but we often ventured another beaches in the south. A great stay!!!

A spacious comfortable apartment in lovely well kept gardens just 50 yards from the beach. Restaurant, shop, laundry close by. Staff vey helpful. Dickinson’s bay delightful and check out the wildlife on nearby McKinnons pond.

Cathy was an extremely hospitable and friendly host and we loved every minute of staying at her condo. The condo was in a beautiful setting with wonderful views (we saw stingrays, herons and mongooses from our balcony!), the furniture was lovely (new and with very comfortable beds and bedsheets), and the place was kept very clean. We particularly appreciated the fact that Dickenson Beach was just a few steps away. Thank you, Cathy for a fantastic stay!

Lisa’s place is part of Antigua Village, a charming condo-style beach resort right on Dickenson Bay—and honestly, the value and location are hard to beat. The unit itself is a cozy corner spot: clean, well-stocked, and just steps from the beach and a variety of great restaurants. We rented a car to explore the island and visited several beaches, and we kept coming back to the feeling that this was the perfect home base. It’s ideally located for easy day trips around Antigua. While you can occasionally hear neighbors from the balcony, the interior felt private and peaceful. Housekeeping came every other day, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Lisa was great—very responsive, proactive, and full of helpful tips to make our stay smooth. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend Lisa’s place to anyone visiting Antigua!
