We had a wonderful family stay at the property. A beautiful peaceful setting. We loved the wood burning hot hub and the pizza oven. Gym was great, and games/family chill room was perfect for kids to have their own space seperate from the main living/dining area inside. Jack and Richard on hand and very responsive. Richard even popped over right away with fire lighters on night one when the previous guests had left an empty box which was very helpful.

Axel was a great host. He made us feel welcome and happily explained the history and culture of the house and region. He took the trouble to make us feel at home despite ours being a very last minute booking. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Great family stay at Louise's! We enjoyed the quiet accommodation, pool and private jacuzzi! The small house is very nice and Louise is both discreet and welcoming. We hope to return and recommend this place for a stay in the Normandy countryside!

Our stay was really good and comfortable. The directions Beatrice gave us were helpful and on point, and the house itself was comfy and clean. I recommend staying at the petit courtoux wholeheartedly!

We had such an amazing week at Julie's Gite. As everyone said, Julie is such a super host and she was always trying to ensure everything was as we wanted and expected. She knows so many things around the area and helped us to book an activity and recommended places to visit. We were with our 2 kids and grandparents. They all had a lovely time at the games room and in the pool and the massive trampoline!! ( The kids loved jumping up and down all day.) The rooms were so clean!(I am picky about cleanliness but this Gite had no dust, not even under the beds!) Probably, this place is the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed at. The kitchen had everything we needed and Julie asked us if we needed more pans, plates etc etc. The nearest supermarket has got everything you need . (fresh fish counter, meat counter as well). We had a day trip to Mont Saint Michelle , Laval, kayaking in Gorron. Our favorite bakery was Boulangerie Chérel at Gorron.Thank you Julie for all of your hospitality.

What a beautiful place in beautiful surroundings. We had such a wonderful time staying here. Edward, our host, was very welcoming of us and our four dogs. The gite was perfect, had everything we needed and was clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful, we could cook, BBQ, eat indoors or enjoy eating outdoors. Edward had even provided some wine, cheese, butter, milk, bread, jam, juice, shower gel, shampoo etc. in fact everything to get us started and more. There were plenty of good quality towels to use too and we used the sofa bed in the living area for one night for a family member and the sheets were all provided and it was comfortable. The grounds are amazing and it is so peaceful. The perfect place to relax and unwind. I cannot recommend this place enough and if Edward will host us again then we will be back!

The whole family had a great stay in this beautiful barn, perfectly renovated and furnished. Plenty of space, comfortable rooms, a very welcoming and cozy living space. Thanks John and Ali for hosting us with open arms and decorating the house with taste for Christmas, not to mention the beautiful tree!

We spent the New Year in this cottage. It was very nice. Despite our apprehensions, we were not cold or run out of hot water. The cottage is separated into 3 houses. Not easy to park when there are many but it goes for 3 cars. Very good communication from the host and clean, well-equipped accommodation. Thanks again!

We had a great stay at this beautiful home. The setting is perfect for being totally out of the way and enjoying the full air! Especially thanks to the garden which is large and spacious! Laurent and Sophie are very responsive by message, you won't be disappointed. ☺️ We'll be happy to go back!

We have just returned from a truly fabulous stay at Yvonne and Paul’s cottage. The attention to detail of both the conversion and the luxury decor is incredible. There is nothing that this cottage lacks. Paul and Yvonne were amazing hosts; there when we wanted advice/a chat about the area and local events but also very respectful of our privacy. The location is perfect for exploring the area as well as just relaxing in the beautiful garden or watching the log burner while roasting local chestnuts with a glass of wine! We are already in the process of booking two stays next year!

We, three adults and one child, had a wonderful two-week stay with Sylviane and Willy. The house and the grounds are very spacious and roomy, we had enough space for badminton, etc. The garden is a dream. Everything is very lovingly designed and maintained by the two hosts. The old-fashioned charm of the house inspired us. The amenities were more than generous - there was nothing missing! The homemade apple juice and fresh herbs from the garden were a real treat. Thank you very much for that. The location was very quiet and secluded yet the tourist destinations and beaches were quick to reach. Shopping such as supermarkets, bakeries, butcher were in nearby Saint James (about 10 minutes' drive). We can highly recommend this place.
