If you want to go to the island of Oléron, I recommend the property of Manue and Luc. Very responsive, friendly hosts. The superb property proposed by Manue and Luc ideally located and a relaxing calm corresponds in every way to the photos on the site. We loved the garden, the exposure, the property and all the services offered by it. We will be back with our dog, because yes, pets are allowed at Manue and Luc's. Really great..... We had a great time , the neighborhood is very peaceful . The house is bright, well equipped, the host Guillaume is available and very nice . The nearby bike path is a plus for safe driving with 3 children aged 9.7 and 3. The beaches are close and perfect for a bodyboard initiative.

We had a great two weeks of vacation. The accommodation is designed for the comfort of its hosts, nothing is missing and checks all our boxes. The accommodation is very clean, it is a challenge to return it in the state. Thank you to Brice and Mathieu for their kindness ( and the delicious brioche). Les Sables d 'Olonne are really very accessible ( but we are in March)and have been the subject of many of our walks , between the corniche , the port , the Remblai. There is something to take care of and / or stroll , sip , eat, it even lives out of season .., as for the accommodation, it was an eagerness to relax there after our daily strolls. To be redone

We really enjoyed this family home which allowed us to spend Christmas as a family. It's a paradise for the little ones who found something to do. The garden must be very nice in warmer weather. The neighborhood is very quiet and the amenities are very close. It's easy to park in the cul-de-sac. Thanks to Amandine and her husband for hosting us.

Nice little apartment- very nice covered terrace. Everything relatively remot - shopping, restaurant etc rather by car or bike! Cosy places can be reached in 10-20 minutes! Beaches rather further and low tide depending. The lighthouse shines into the bedroom when the shops are open - very nice but also need to get used to... All in all very nice and very good amenities…

Weeklong stay, matches photos and description and is even better than pictured. Quiet place, owner available but not intrusive. We fell in love with the Vendee and these stone houses. Clean pool, chlorine-friendly pool. We'll be happy to come back, we haven't finished discovering the area. It has everything you need to live. The place is clean. The house is absolutely great (I agree with some older reviews: the living room and the rooms are much more spacious than the photos let them guess: it's a nice surprise when you arrive). We appreciated the amenities, comfort and decoration of the house, as well as its location: full of nice walks nearby, a delicious bakery in Dompierre (L 'AuthentiQ), one of the best dinners of our life at the restaurant La PierreVue in Saint-Rogatien, La Rochelle and its aquarium to see absolutely less than 20 minutes away... The heated pool in this sunny early April was a real enchantment. Finally Marine is a particularly warm and attentive host, and the communication was very pleasant. We will come back without hesitation!

We have just spent a week, July 2024, a family of 12 plus a baby, at this very beautiful house. There is everything and more you could ever need. It is quiet. It is a beautiful area and the village has a beautiful bakery and supermarket. The beach is approx 15 mins by car. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we loved it. The kids played tirelessly in the beautiful big pool. The house has cots, high chair and even toys for the children. It was my 60th birthday and my family organised a local private chef (Manu chef a domicile) to cook for us, recommended by Will and it was amazing. We picked up hire cars at the train station also recommended by Will. The whole process was more than easy. We had the best time and would highly recommend to a large family. We hope that this is not the last time we stay at this stunning house and hopefully not our last time in La Rochelle. Holiday blues are real when you’ve visited such a beautiful place 😊

This house is beautiful, the owners have paid attention to detail which shows in the decor and quality furnishings. It's fully equipped which made everything perfect for our stay. You're in the centre of town but it still feels peaceful and private. The garden is lovely with plenty of seating and of course the large pool. There is use of the garage but we always found space on the street outside. Great place to explore the Marais Poitivin or go to the coast. The town has a lot of restaurants, and a lovely cathedral and public gardens. A 5 star stay we won't forget!

superb accommodation for 10 people. Finally a table with 10 chairs!!! everything was very clean, dishwasher, washing machine... a property to remember.

Bernard and Monique's house is a lovely house, very well arranged, well heated, perfectly located close to the sea. The layout is perfect for a family with the possibility for parents to benefit from a separate bedroom and bathroom, and for children to be well settled on the first floor… The hospitality is both warm and respectful of the hosts. It's a great place and we'll be happy to go back.

Quiet place, we enjoyed Jérôme's vinyl records, books and contact. It's perfect for resting, relaxing before enjoying the city of La Rochelle. I recommend it without a problem.

Nathalie is very welcoming, the garden was great for our dogs,the only small downside but nothing bad ,( it's me who should have asked) but there is no salt,no dish soap,no towel,no sponge or hand soap so I had to go back and do the shopping ,if it can be used for the next ones 😉 otherwise the walks by the sea were very nice and the area is very quiet

We spent a week at Corinne's house, as a family with two children. It is a spacious, comfortable, very well equipped house, in a word, very pleasant to stay in. Its location is also perfect: we did everything on foot, whether it was going to the beach, having a drink at La Noue, or shopping in Sainte-Marie. Check-in and checkout were very smooth thanks to Delphine from Villas des Iles. Needless to say, the house was impeccable when we arrived. Thanks Corinne.

very good accommodation, warm welcome by the person in charge of the rental, very small downside on the bathroom faucet that drips and a bike that lost the back wheel but this is only secondary. very good location quite quiet despite the campsite behind with a beautiful fenced garden. we recommend

We had a great stay the accommodation is small, but very well thought out, ultra convenient, with a real shower room of perfect dimensions!
