Monthly Rentals in Sabaragamuwa Province

One of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in! The apartment was extremely beautiful, clean, and peaceful. It looked even better than the photos. And the location is ideal, as it’s in a quiet neighborhood and only a short Tuktuk ride from the city centre. Kanil is an extremely wonderful and attentive host. And I cannot wait to stay at his place again when I come back to Kandy one day. Massive thanks to Kanil ☺️!!!!

We absolutely loved Skyridge cabin, a beautiful little hideaway, nestled in the mountains of Nuwara Eliya. Dana is extremely friendly with impressive interests and hobbies. Be sure to ask him how his Everest training is coming along. The hideaway isn’t within easy walking distance of restaurants, so Prava who lives just a stones throw away will cook you anything you like, and she is a truly great cook. If you need anything, Dana can usually get this delivered to you. The cabin itself is very unique, a real one-off experience. The climb to the cabin would not suit somebody with mobility difficulties and can be a little slippy when wet so make sure you have shoes with good traction when you arrive and leave. The surrounding villagers are very friendly and both Dana and Prava went out of their way to make us comfortable. If you’re visiting nearby tea plantations, make sure you talk to Dana first and he can let you know the best places to buy tea. Would 100% recommend Skyridge Cabin.

Flow Nature Cottages are an absolute gem!! What a brilliant location with breathtaking views over the Sri Lankan hills. If your just after relaxing or planning on pleasant walks around the surrounding areas during the daytime, then this place is defiently the place for you. If your travelling through Sri Lanka from Kandy to Ella then you must stop off at Haputale Railway station along the way to visit Flow Nature Cottages for at least a couple of days you won't be disappointed. The owner Chitra is a wonderful lady who makes you feel very welcome with her hospitality and kindness. Thanks again, Chitra for a memorable experience.

This is an absolutely stunning accommodation. As someone who obsesses over finding unique air bnbs with fun experiences attached, this was perfect. The property is beautiful, the cabin is comfortable with an incredible view, and the food at the restaurant was very good, especially the Sri Lankan breakfast. Sumith is an incredible host and gave us a great half day tour of a tea factory, waterfall, and other spots with a lesson on tea making which I highly recommend. There are no tourists in this town and it was a very authentic experience. It is quite out of the way from any other popular tourist areas (2-2.5 hour taxi from Ella, about $45) but it is so worth it, and Sumith arranged for a taxi back for us to ella so it was easy. WiFi also worked well which was important for me as I was working.
