Apartment vacation rentals in Saas-Balen

We enjoyed a gorgeous week in June at Benita & Mike’s beautiful home. The house has everything we needed and we loved the floor to ceiling windows which allowed maximum appreciation of the stunning mountain scenery around us, the photos really don’t do it justice. The location is peaceful and tranquil (just what we wanted) but also a short distance from the quaint and charming Grachen which is walkable in 35 mins. The kitchen is well equipped which was a bonus as we enjoyed cooking every night. We also enjoyed sitting outside on both the balcony which gets the morning sun and the back terrace which gets the evening sun, perfect! The llamas in the field opposite were very friending and entertaining. The highlights during our stay were hiking up the nearby mountain Wannihorn from Grachen, visiting the suspension bridge in Randa and taking the car train to Kandersteg to walk the alpine trail around the unbelievably stunning Lake Oeschinen. We would highly recommend 😀

Die Wohnung in dem schönen alten Holzhaus hat große Fenster und einen Sonnenbalkon und erlaubt einen spektakulären Blick auf Bergkulissen. Ganz toll! Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist funktional und schön. Zum Fahren und Gehen ist die schmale, sehr steile Straße vor der Haustür anspruchsvoll. Manchmal werden ein paar Ziegen hin- und hergetrieben. Martin ist ein freundlicher und kommunikativer Host. Wir werden bestimmt noch einmal wiederkommen.

Die Lage und die Anbindung zur Seilbahn wie auch die Abfahrt bis fast zum Apartmenthaus sind ideal. Der autofreie Ort ist ruhig und bietet alles in einem angenehmen überschaubaren Rahmen. Die einzigartige Nähe zu diesen gewaltigen Bergen ist dabei ein besonderes Erlebnis. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Livia's place is great, everything was spotless and comfortable. She gave us a crib with a cool gift for our daughter. The balcony has a beautiful view, and the apartment has everything you need to cook, wash clothes, etc. She was very helpful during our stay. Super recommend.

Clean, beautifully decorated, and spacious apartment. René was unavailable on the date that I checked in, but provided very clear instructions for self check-in. She also responded quickly when a couple of issues arose. The location is extremely convenient to the bus terminal, Coop, multiple restaurants / bars / coffee shops (Summit was a personal favorite for coffee and housemade gin) and the cable car to Hannig with its several stunning hikes. There was a good bit of construction work during my stay in Saas-Fee, but you couldn't hear anything in the flat behind the double-paned windows, and the neighbors were also quiet during my stay.

Great place to stay - close enough to Zermatt for hiking paths. Better to make groceries before the weekend - No stores open on Sundays Jasmine is a very helpful and friendly host

Lugar encantador. Tudo perfeito, limpo e decoração de bom gosto. Tem um belo elevador que facilita muito entrar com as malas. A vista é de tirar o fôlego, comunicação com Janine é excelente e não deixa dúvida alguma. Muito proativa, nos ofereceu traslado para Zermatt mas nós já tínhamos o Ticket do trem. Eu estava de carro e estacionei gratuitamente na frente do apartamento. Local muito confortável, recomendo estadia neste local. Janine, parabéns pelo local, muito sucesso e com certeza voltaremos. Such a beautiful place with a stunning view. We ended up spending more time at the apartment enjoying the view than hiking to see a view! It was a wow! Hosts were especially amazing! Tons of great cookware. My kids’ favorite memories from our stay are fondue at sunset and playing football in front of the balcony with the Matterhorn right over head. Definitely take advantage of the taxi up & the Coop grocery store at the train station before you go up. There’s tons of space for your luggage in the taxi (more like a large enclosed golf cart with big trunk). Comfy beds. Great layout.

We had a wonderful stay at Sonia and Bruno‘s apartment, we made the mistake of not downloading the pictures of how to access. Nevertheless, we had the most fabulous time in Zermatt . The breakfast view from the balcony is magical and reminds me of The Toblerone picture. We would definitely visit again Amanda and Graham.

Die Wohnung ist ein echtes Schmuckstück, liebevoll ausgestattet und dekoriert. Zwar ist sie sehr eng, jedoch ist sie funktional ausgestattet, dass man nichts rumliegen lassen muss. Es hat uns an nichts gemangelt. Alles war da. Sogar Waschmaschinentabs/Waschmittel/Putzmittel/WC Papier wurde zur Verfügung gestellt. Sogar an die Süssigkeiten hat Patricia gedacht :-) Das Kinderzimmer war super: Grosse Betten und genug Platz zum Spielen. Toll fanden wir, dass es viele Spiele für Gross und Klein hatte, sowie Malsachen und Bücher. Die Kommunikation mit Patricia und ihrer Mutter hat sehr gut funktioniert. Die Lage ist zentral und sehr nah an der Gondelstation, dass auch die kleineren Kinder zu Fuss gehen können. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

A beautiful apartment located in a central location for all outdoor lovers! We hiked nearly every day and used the bus system. It was so convenient. Just a beautiful location and beautiful home to stay in. Thank you !!! ☺️

Absolutely perfect Swiss chalet tucked away on the edge of the village. Stunning view of the 3 mountains, and well placed for various local walks as well as excursions further afield. Liza looked after us extremely well, always on hand for any problems (there were none!) or to help with any queries, and always with such good humour. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

Tout s’est très bien passé dans ce logement. L’accueil par Alessandra a été très chaleureux. L’appartement et sa situation était très beau. Nous sommes partie en vélo depuis celui ci faire une ballade magnifique dans la montagne. Le petit déjeuné était compris et très bon. Nous avons bien profité de notre séjour

Stacey was a great host that met the us at the door and gave us helpful hints on things to do. The view from the porch was AMAZING and so peaceful. We spent almost every minute there when back from the very convenient hikes just a short way away. I would absolutely recommend staying here … literally can be in a hot tub looking up at Staubach Falls like it was your very own private waterfall.

5 Sterne sind eigentlich zu wenig! Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Airbnb. Das Haus war perfekt – sehr sauber, stilvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Ein echtes Wohlfühl-Zuhause! Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Gastgeber: Er war persönlich beim Check-in und Check-out dabei, unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Als Highlight hat er uns morgens sogar frische Gipfeli gebracht – einfach toller Service und unglaublich herzlich! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. Vielen lieben Dank für alles!

Ich kann die Wohnung von Jasmin uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Jasmin und Adam waren äußerst freundlich und stets für uns ansprechbar. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Besonders beeindruckend war der traumhafte Ausblick auf die Berge. Auch die Umgebung hat uns begeistert – sie bietet viele schöne Orte und faszinierende Aussichten. Ein Auto ist jedoch unbedingt zu empfehlen. Lediglich die Küche ist etwas klein und für eine große Familie, die selbst kochen möchte, nur bedingt geeignet.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Patricks Unterkunft. An diesem Ort steckt viel Herz. Es lässt einfach keine Wünsche offen. Die Unterkunft ist noch viel schöner als auf den Bildern. Ein wahres Paradies! Patrick und sein Vater sind Herzensmenschen, die einen wundervoll willkommen heißen. In der Unterkunft fühlt man sich sofort wohl und das Highlight ist die gepflegte Grünanlage mit atemberaubenden Blick in die Berge und Whirlpool. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Danke für die schöne Zeit bei euch! Danke dass ihr so einen tollen Ort mit anderen teilt!

Wir hatten einen richtig tollen Aufenthalt bei Luca in Ameno! Wir waren für eine Woche in der Unterkunft und haben uns direkt wie Zuhause gefühlt, es war sehr schön für uns. Die Landschaft ist einfach atemberaubend , der Garten hat unsere Herzen höher schlagen lassen, überall gab es Ecken zum entspannen. Mit den Fahrrädern konnten wir die Gegend erkunden, Luca gab uns Tipps für die Umgebung. Die Wohnung war perfekt für uns, wobei wir den größten Teil unseres Aufenthalts draußen im Garten verbracht haben. Luca war sehr freundlich und hat uns mit offenen Armen in seinem Zuhause willkommen geheißen. Wir hätten es nicht besser haben können und kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder! Alles in allem perfekt, ich würde gerne mehr als 5 Sterne geben <3
