Great for families with children.It is very quiet because there is no house around, and the sound of birds is bustling in the morning. Distance from the station and supermarket, car is mandatory.Please be sure to prepare winter tires and tire chains in winter. Please keep in mind that we do not have air conditioning.There is a fan. There is a hot spring nearby.The supermarket is about a 10-minute drive away.Most of them have. There is no supermarket within walking distance, so if you come by train or bus, please purchase food near the station before coming. Good access to Shimosuwa Station! We renovated an 80-year-old Japanese house into a traditional and clean space. (New open in 2023!) You can spend a comfortable time by renting the entire building. Recommended for families, couples and small groups. This area is rich in history and nature. Suwa Taisha Shrine, hot springs, Nakasendo. Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.
