The Ilkley Hideaway Luxury Apartment in Central Ilkley

The Ilkley Hideaway is a private apartment based in central Ilkley only a few hundred metres from shops, amenities and the wonderful moor. The hideaway has off road parking and a private patio. We converted The Ilkley Hideaway in 2017 and have been welcoming guests ever since. I (Georgina) work for the NHS and Tom is a secondary school teacher- we live directly above the Hideaway with our young children Millie (3) and Hattie (1). We have had some amazing people stay over the years for cycling, walking, weddings and meeting family and love being able to host people in beautiful Yorkshire. The apartment is self-contained with its own entrance and parking. The accommodation offers: lounge/kitchen/double bedroom and en-suite. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, full size fan oven, and a ceramic hob. There is a breakfast bar and a comfortable lounge with sofa and sofa bed, TV, Wi-Fi, and a DVD player. The apartment has its own patio area, perfect for a coffee before your morning walk or an evening glass of wine. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. We pride ourselves on detail at the Ilkley Hideaway, there are some lovely little touches to discover; all designed to make your stay extra special. Walkers and cyclists are all welcome and there is bike storage. Regret no smoking in the apartment. Regret no dogs. Walk to everywhere in Ilkley from this central location, including cafes, pubs, bars, and independent shops. Stock up at a supermarket 300 metres away. Go on picturesque outings to the surrounding moorland, and hike further afield in the Dales.

This space is peaceful and relaxing with views from the caravan site of green hills and sheep! A handy location, near to Bolton Abbey, Ilkley and Skipton. The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. Despite this rural idyll, we’re only a five minute car drive from Clitheroe, one of the North-West’s nicest market towns. The views will take your breath away!
