The space was so warm and inviting with fantastic attention to detail. Although we only stayed for one night, the little extra treats were so thoughtful and a lovely surprise. The bed was out of this world comfortable and the shower was fantastic. We would highly recommend Karen’s place!

Stunning place!

Karen’s place is a cosy gem of a place, one that we would definitely return to. The sun was setting just out of the window of the barn when we arrived and it was just bliss! Perfect for a peaceful relaxing getaway. Super comfy bed and beautifully decorated throughout. Karen was kind and very quick to help when the WiFi didn’t work-soon had it fixed within 5 mins. We were made to feel very welcome, they also left wine and snacks for our stay which was a lovely surprise. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful 5-day stay for work at Karen's converted barn. Karen was communicative and left me some greatly appreciated snacks on arrival. The barn is cosy and well-equipped, including a table where you can eat dinner and/or work if you're in the area for business. There is easy access to the A1 but it's very quiet. The local tips provided were spot-on and the pub at the end of the road does great Italian food. I also took a tip from an earlier review - if you walk out to the end of the country lane, you can follow a public footpath along the river. Great for a run.

This place is wonderful. Great house to stay in. The sauna and massive hot tub at the back are extremely private and clean, we loved it there and were sad to leave. The hosts were fantastic and the check in was fast and efficient. We would book again for sure.

This is an amazingly large & stylish place, perfect for a romantic couples weekend away or a small group. The outside space is much more vast that what we expected. The hot tub is the hugest tub I have ever seen! We couldn’t even reach each other from either end. Would be wonderful to have a fire going in the stone fire place outside or have a bbq - there was a huge storm while we were there so we didn’t but we did sit under the shelter wrapped in the blankets put out for you with hot chocolates. There’s a table inside the main barn, a table outside by the hot tub AND inside the rear barn so lots of choice of where to eat. There is just so much space. 3 toilets & 2 showers equipped with shampoo, body wash etc. Host is lovely, replies quickly & came to sort out TV troubles quickly (storm was causing havoc). They had left ya roses & some heart shaped balloons for Valentine’s Day - really thoughtful touches. The only thing that would have been handy is a welcome book with where things are, things to do near by and how to use things like the TV etc. :) fantastic place will definitely be going back

Beautiful house with lots of history, in a tranquil village. fields to walk around. The hosts are very kind and helpful, they make you feel at home. Perfect for family holiday.

The Coach House more than lived up to expectations. It is a private, secure space with access onto a beautiful garden with plenty of room for children to play and dogs to run. The location is idyllic with views over a river, willow trees and the village church. Although situated down a long gravel drive, it is easy to walk along pavements to the local pub, though check whether or not it is serving food. The highlight is a zip-wire which well-supervised children will find exhilarating. In better weather, the swimming pond would also be a major attraction. Internally, the Coach House is a well converted old building providing two good double and one triple (bunk over) bedrooms (one double on the ground floor). The lounge/dining kitchen is more than ample with a large table and very comfortable L shaped sofa facing a french door overlooking the garden. A major plus for anyone with dogs is the tiled entry with brick floored toilet/shower 'block' off, allowing dirty dogs and children to be cleaned down before entering across the lobby into the main living area. It's worth noting as in other reviews that there are two showers, two WCs & three washbasins, but all accessed across the fully enclosed lobby - so, washing facilities are downstairs at a little distance from the upper floor bedrooms. A positiveadvantage for us with two dogs and a ten year old, but worth bearing in mind if one is used to en-suite facilities. All-in-all, a lovely pre-Christmas break in easy reach of Cambridge, close to Grafham Water, in super surroundings.

A warm welcome in wonderful surroundings with plenty to see and do. The cosy cottage lives up to its name and is welcoming, well organised and comfortable...hard to beat!

Perfect accommodation for our trip to visit grandparents in the area. The home is a real home from home and charming with great facilities to suit our family family of five and two dogs.

We chose this property for its proximity to my family and were pleasantly surprised. While off the beaten path, Elizabeth’s property proved to be a highlight for our family. A wonderful place to let the children run and plenty to explore. Spacious accommodations and few added amenities made us feel welcome to relax. .

This apartment is superb value for money and such a lovely place to stay. Surrounded by paddocks and horses, tucked away on a quiet residential road, the bed is so comfy I didn’t want to leave it. Spotlessly clean with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Sharon is a lovely host and I really hope I need to visit the area for work again just so I have an excuse to stay here again!

I don’t know where to start, this accommodation is just wonderful! Clean, spacious, and has everything you need for a stay away from home. Lovely furniture giving a lovely warming feel to the property which is really important to me. Fantastic communication from Sharon with really clear instructions of how to find the Barn and the process of checking in and out. Excellent WiFi too. Stayed here with my cockapoo who also rated it with 5 stars! I commute weekly from Bristol to Bedford and since finding the Barn I have booked up as many overnight stays as possible for the next few months!

A great place for a quiet stay, I was made to feel very welcome, as well as my dogs. The Barn was immaculately clean and was stocked with everything I needed for a stay (not food), but the milk in the fridge was extremely welcome. It was quiet, immaculately maintained inside and out, and a lovely flat 4 acre field to walk my dogs. I thoroughly recommend this place. :)

Had a wonderful stay at the Haywain. Perfect in every way. Idyllic setting, with a decking backing on to fields and stables - gorgeous with the autumn sun beating down on it. Extremely comfy superking bed, felt great! Very warm, cosy, comfortable, and I also appreciated the food Anme left for me in the fridge - lovely touch. All round fantastic experience :-)

Tom and Sharon are great hosts. They were very accommodating and quick to respond with my reservation even though it was very last minute. The lodge is beautifully designed with a open plan layout and well lid with plenty of natural lighting, and styled with retro motor enthusiast memorabilia, along with a well equipped kitchen with even washing machine and dishwasher. The bed was well made and comfortable. I would 100% recommend a stay here.

We had an amazing time staying in Trinity. The lodge has been furnished to a really high standard. Such lovely little touches like fizz on arrival, wine fridge, underfloor heating and board games. The beds were so comfortable. The views were incredible, perfect for sitting in the hot tub with a glass of fizz. We went to Rowney Warren forest for a lovely walk located about 20 mins away. We visited the Duncombe Arms 5 mins away and had a great lunch. We will definitely be returning.

Perfect log cabin getaway ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We travelled as two couples looking to relax for the weekend. Cambridgeshire Lakes exceeded expectations - the cabin was beautiful and a lot of hours were spent in the hot tub. We had lovely arrival gifts waiting for us which were much appreciated and the hosts communication was so helpful. They left a leaflet regarding a local gift fair as well as emailing information about the local fireworks display, we attended both and really enjoyed. Weekend couldn’t have been more perfect! We’ll be back!!

Eileen’s place is lovely, feels very homely and had everything we needed for a perfect weekend away. Eileen’s communication both before, during and after our stay was spot on and her home stocked with lovely touches such as milk, juice and other breakfast items. We loved sitting in the quirky garden (the action men are a brilliant touch!) especially on Saturday afternoon when it was bathed in glorious sunshine. Bath was great for a relaxing soak and the bed was super comfy...I can’t recall sleeping so well! Eileen’s place is close to all local amenities and she had left us details of where to go and what to see in the local area. AirBnB hosting does not get better than this and to top it off it was superb value for money. We will definitely look to return for a repeat stay when we are in the area. Jean’s studio is really ideally located in St. Neots. It’s a short walk in to town and there are plenty of nice places to eat. The studio itself is perfect for two to retire to, in a nice quiet area and with a comfy bed. We had a great nights sleep! Thanks Jean!

Jeans place is a lovely place to stay, it is as described, a self contained annex. It has a kitchenette with basic cooking facility's, a comfortable en-suit, with a good shower and a comfy bed. There is also a large flat screen tv .

This is a lovely two bed modern house in a great central location for exploring St Neots and surrounding areas. Local shops, cafes and pubs in the centre of town a very short walk, maybe 100 yards, but quiet and secluded as set in mews cottages through archway away from the road. Claire is a brilliant host who communicated speedily and helpfully. The househas everything you need for a stay and was ideal for us.

Lovely stay, very comfortable bed, slept like a log!

A great little place to stay. The fridge was an excellent addition, I was even able to bring my overnight oats for breakfast before work! The bed was incredibly comfortable, the sofa was a very welcome addition after a 3 hour drive and the whole place just oozes cosy.

Quaint and cosy, with relaxing rustic vibes. The bed was very comfortable with lots of additional blankets for this weather which was very much appreciated. The room was big enough for a comfortable sofa. Tea and coffee was supplied which was great as we forgot ours. Would definitely stay again

Karen has really gone the extra mile with this stay. Lots of thoughtful touches and a stylish and comfortable room. It’s the perfect m for a night away, you can barely hear the roads so you can enjoy the nature around you. Plenty of public footpaths accessible. We will be sure to try the pub next time!

My family loved staying at Marina Heights for my wedding all the way from Australia. My 83 year old grandma has never been to the UK before and absolutely loved it! She loved feeding the swans and ducks and going for walks around the area. Perfect location and very accommodating hosts. Thank you!

FLeur has an absolutely lovely flat with great views over the river. It has everything you might need, including soap, and even bread in the fridge and some wine! It was perfect for my daughter and me, though could easily accommodate two couples. A top notch stay!

If you're a group looking for somewhere to stay in the heart of St Neots then the location by the river is perfect.

Perfect. It's a word thrown around fairly liberally, however in this case it's the very definition. Fleur & Paul are gracious hosts, excellent communication and very inviting. They were nice enough to pick us up from the train station in St. Neots when our friend had a family emergency. River Terrace has all the amenities you need with plenty of space, quiet and relaxing. Steps away from the High St, making everything you would need just a quick walk. We will definitely be back and booking River Terrace again when we do.

The second visit to this house for my family and I'm sure it won't be the last! Great communication on checking in. Some lovely added touches to the place, cake and wine!!! Lovely view and thankfully the weather was nice enough to enjoy sitting on the balcony watching the boats go by. Thank you

Fleur and Paul are amazing hosts and their property is beautiful and perfectly located with a great view from the balcony and all the amenities you could want. Paul greeted us and helped with the cases (there were a lot so it which was much appreciated), communication was easy and prompt and we felt really welcomed and at home. Even though the property is near the market square it is incredibly peaceful ,our 11 month baby slept like a dream the whole trip while we enjoyed a glass of wine on the balcony, perfect! We would thoroughly recommend this property and Fleur and Paul as brilliant hosts. Thank you!

We had a great stay at River Terrace for two nights as a party of 6. The little extra touches on arrival such as a bottle of wine and a cake were really appreciated and all the little things you may need had been thought of. The location was perfect for going to see a show at the priory centre and to take our little girl to the park. She loved feeding the ducks from the balcony and watching the rowers on Sunday morning. Thank you Paul and Fleur for a great stay and a warm welcome.

My wife and I had a great stay here. It was just for a night as we were on our way somewhere else. The accommodation is very private, brand new and stylishly designed. It’s super spacious, light and airy, and has great little kitchen and a big bathroom. The bed was a dream. Lots of books too if you are into reading. This was comfortable accommodation in a quiet village. The apartment was well equipped and suited our needs for a two night stay very well. Bed has nice sheets and is comfortable and living room is cosy. Sarah checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and left generous breakfast provisions The bathroom is small and more of a wet room but manageable. Recommendable.

Visited for Christmas 2019. We've stopped at several Lodges over the years and this was by far the best for several reasons. So luxurious and very large. Charlie & Co have excelled and set the bar very high. Very modern, clean, comfortable & decorated with uniqueness. We've also stayed at many Self Catering / Air BNB and this Lodge had the best equipped kitchen we have ever had! They are very new so will return in a couple years once planting has established. Great location for small villages. Best for quiet relaxing families/teenagers, rather than young ones. Although it would be perfect for wildlife families xx

This is the nicest Airbnb I have stayed in. It's beautiful, the views are amazing and the extra touches were really appreciated. The heated flooring in the bathroom was great given the cold temperatures outside when we stayed.

We stayed at Cambridgeshire Lakes (St. Johns Lodge) at the start of November 2019. The photos on the website are 100% accurate, if anything they don't do the lodge justice! The whole lodge is beautiful and extremely cosy! The whole process from booking through to arrival was extremely smooth and professional, and even received a message from the owners to inform us about the Fireworks Display that was being held over the weekend we stayed. If you are looking for a break from a hectic world, then this really does tick the boxes... watching the sunset from the warmth of the hot tub on the large decked area was very special! I'm certainly looking forward to returning, as it will only improve with the grounds only just being planted, once it is established it will enhance the experience further! A massive congratulations to Jemma and Charlie for providing such a wonderful experience!

We had a fantastic time, the loft was absolutely perfect for our needs. The hosts were always available for any questions that arose. I will definitely be staying there again and recommend the loft to any prospective tenants!

Beautiful loft at a serene countryside location, 5 minute drive from St Neots. Much much better than what the pictures show. Wonderful hosts, very thoughtful and kind.

Sophie’s place was better than we expected and as a group of professional drivers staying at the loft, it made our stay even more enjoyable. Having three bedrooms all with en-suite was a bonus and the living area with kitchen and dining area was a great place to eat and chat. Needless to say all the cutlery, dishes etc are available together with a large fridge/freezer. We are hoping that if and when we work in the area again, the Loft will be available. Thanks again from all of us.

Stay to repeat without a doubt. All very cozy, comfortable and comfortable beds, great hosts and the place very quiet and quiet, full of peace. Very well located to move.
