Nostalgia

A charming house from the 1800s with a great atmosphere. The property is beautifully located by the lake overlooking Ålesund and Sunnmørsalpene. Only 15 min by car from Ålesund city and the nearest airport, but is still a place that gives peace of mind. Outside the garden there is cultivated land with grazing animals in late summer. The island of Giske itself is a gem with a marble church from the Middle Ages, beaches, untouched nature and bird life. The island was once home to Norway's most powerful noble family, the Arnungs, and is mentioned in the Snorre saga.

Right outside the living room door there are well-marked, varied hiking trails. You can also go on day trips to Ålesund, Geiranger and Runde. On the neighboring island there is a water sports center with equipment rental.

Gratis parkering. 1/2 minutt å gå til fjorden der sjøvante kan leie robåt etter avtale. I gåavstand har du Atlanterhavsparken, Tueneset med strand, stier, gapahuker og bålplass samt bunkerser fra 2. verdenskrig. Du kan gå opp på Sukkertoppen herfra. Nydelig utsikt over by og fjell. Vogna har dobbeltseng, enkeltseng, stor sofa, enkelt kjøkken, toalett og tv, ovn m.m. Velkommen.

Relaxing place on Godøya

Welcome to our house on Gudøya Island. You will have the ground floor with two bedrooms, a large bathroom and a beautiful terrace with view to the sea and mountains. The living room has a kitchenette for cooking. Unfortunately, there is no sink there, but the sink and a dishwasher are in the laundry room. You can also use bicycles. Please note that the entrance is shared. For all details, please look carefully at the photos and plan. We really hope you will enjoy your stay at our place.

Here you have a short distance to the lake with good swimming opportunities, and the area offers beautiful nature with both mountains and nice hiking trails. The house is centrally located, with only 15 minutes to Vigra Airport and 20 minutes to Ålesund city center.
