We had a lovely stay at Oliver farm! It was exactly as the photos, very clean, with plenty of toys and games for the kids, which we found a nice touch. It was very easy to find, located in a beautiful, quiet no through lane. Close to foot paths, a tea room. It is also close Askam bar park and ride for trips to York. I would highly recommend Oliver farm and I hope to be back soon, Thank you for a lovely stay.

Sophie is a great host, friendly and welcoming, and very responsive to any queries. The information book she provided in the flat was very helpful. It was a real pleasure to stay here. The flat was clean and comfortable with everything we needed, in a beautiful quiet setting. The patio was a lovely sun trap in the evenings for a drink with stunning views! The local village shop was well stocked with both essentials and a deli counter, and the butcher had a lovely bakery as well as a selection of homemade meals and the best steak we’ve ever had! We ate out one night at the local pub and had a really good meal. There also seems to be a really good bus service that runs regularly through the day if you needed it, but from here you are within easy reach of places to visit like Robin Hood’s bay, Whitby, the coast and the beautiful North York moors. We can highly recommend staying here and would definitely return.

We had a lovely stay at The Samson Suite last week. It was lovely and clean and beautifully furnished. All the linen was best quality and the bed was so comfortable. It was great to be able to sit outside on the sunny patio as it was so peaceful and private. The suite was easy to find and the parking was great. Its just a short flat walk into Beverley with lots of places to eat, shop and visit. Beverley Minster is also close by. Top class place to stay and we will definitely return. Had a wonderful stay. Lindsey was extremely kind and attentive, offering us bread and milk for our stay. There was a large range of breakfast items provided. Overall I cannot recommend enough!

Molly and Dean's s place was just perfect for my daughter and I - a beautiful, comfortable "home from home" place! We had everything we needed and the place was filled with lovely thoughtful items that we both really appreciated. The kitchen had all the necessities and the addition of tea/coffee/milk/bread/butter/jam/hot chocolate felt like a very lovely gesture. The location was just what I hoped for and we had a great time! We will definitely be back to the Hill View! Thank you very much, Molly and Dean!

Really gorgeous place - booked two nights away for some rest and relaxation! Bed was very comfy, bathroom was gorgeous and the views were stunning. The area was beautiful, we had some sunny days so got to go for lots of walks near the house - and had a nice picnic on the grass outside the room. Lots of pubs and restaurants nearby too. Facilities were good - kitchen was quite small though, we brought lots with us to cook as we didn't want to go out too much, but was a tiny bit difficult due to space and lack of a bigger fridge - but the bar is a very nice idea and a nice place to sit and chat - it’s a very special idea for people who drink! Overall, it was a really lovely stay - hosts were very nice and helpful, and it was a very tranquil area with lots to do around it - would definitely return :)

We stayed for a week at JK Lodge and felt at home from the start. Alan and Gill were friendly and welcoming and we're great hosts. JK Lodge is in an excellent location for exploring both the Wolds and the coastal areas. Our spaniel liked the outside area and the lodge had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable. Lovely welcome treats too.. thankyou!

Small but perfectly formed! Everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed, an excellent shower, a great little kitchen, and a beautiful patio area to sit in and enjoy the views.

The place was lovely and cosy for the evening. The best part was actually the garden with the egg chair, the zen garden and the water feature. It was so relaxing I could have sat there all night. Would definitely stay again.

The location was ideal - away from the busy road nearby, making it private and quiet, but close enough that you could walk into town or to nearby restaurants. The space itself was clean, tidy, and had all the utensils and cutlery we needed for our stay. It felt very homely. Joanne was excellent at responding to messages, doing so in a very short time span and with a helpful, friendly attitude. Overall, our week was just what we needed - very relaxing and enjoyable. Absolutely outstanding property…and Host. Even before arriving Lisa kept in touch with detailed directions & check in procedure. The Studio has the ‘wow’ factor as soon as you enter. Everything is top quality and the studio has been designed to a very high spec with great attention to detail. The views from the outdoor seating area are amazing …..such a peaceful and relaxing place to sit. Lisa was the perfect host. She came to say Hello as we arrived and told us just to get in touch if we needed anything. She has thought of all the little touches that make a stay so enjoyable….welcome breakfast basket, hairdryer, iron, Bluetooth speaker…right down to the finer details such as towel warmer, hooks for towels right next to shower door, information booklets etc etc. We visited The Plough (a lovely local pub)and Eskdale Fisheries (excellent) both within walking distance. A perfect base from which to visit Whitby, Scarborough etc. We couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay.

Communication with Fern was excellent. Instructions for finding the property and parking was top notch. We had a very comfortable stay and would certainly return in the future.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Crystal and Andy’s place, it had everything we could need We got out into the wonderful surrounding countryside each day and enjoyed discovering new places. With lots of other places we would like to explore on future trips to the area. Crystal, Andy, Reuben and Delancey were very friendly and helpful. It was lovely to see and hear the children playing and enjoying the sunny weather And thanks for the wonderful banana bread

We had a fab stay at Adrian's. The place itself was cosy, comfortable and an excellent use of the space.

We stayed at this charming cottage during Easter and had a wonderful experience. The host was exceptionally friendly, responsive, and caring, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The cottage itself is lovely—spotlessly clean, cosy, and beautifully maintained. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you might need for your stay. The surroundings are absolutely fantastic. We loved the peaceful atmosphere, with sheep and cows grazing nearby and a lovely cat who would come by to say hello. It truly felt like a perfect countryside retreat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway in the Peak District.

An Exceptional Stay – Perfect for Bikers and a Peaceful Getaway We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Chris & Nikki’s Airbnb. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. Both hosts went above and beyond – genuine, friendly people who couldn’t do enough for us. As fellow bikers, they truly understood our needs and even made space in their garage so our bikes could be stored safely and securely. That kind of thoughtfulness really made all the difference. The home itself is in an idyllic spot – peaceful, scenic, and perfectly located for exploring the stunning Yorkshire Wolds. It was the ideal base for our countryside rides. One thing we particularly appreciated was the “no kids, no pets” policy. It’s rare these days to find a place that caters to adults seeking a bit of peace without the added chaos – it gave the whole stay a much more relaxing vibe. A special shout-out to Chris for lending a helping hand when I ran into an issue with my bike – he stepped in

A lovely place to stay - very clean, comfortable and quiet. The apartment is very on trend and well equipped with everything you could need. Only a few minutes walk into town but very peaceful with a nice little patio area to sit outside. Ripon is a lovely town with a beautiful cathedral. One little problem with the TV (due to our technical incompetence!) was quickly resolved by Liz's son). No hesitation in recommending

Wonderful property and hosts. Extremely clean and everything you could possibly want was there. They even left us essential supplies for our arrival. The bed was fabulous too. Annexe just off their home, felt completely separate. Would definitely recommend 100%

Lovely place to spend the weekend. Great that it is dog friendly and so close the canal for dog walks. Cosy and comfortable, lots of information provided and Kate is really responsive with messages. Welcome goodies were also very appreciated.
