We offer our small, fine vacation home in the Eifel for guests (also with dogs). The renovated bungalow nestles on the southern slope of the Rur Valley and overlooks the small village of Untermaubach and its castle. In the immediate vicinity are wonderful hiking trails through former vineyards, the Celtic Hochkoppel and the typical Buntsandsteinfelsen [colorful sandstone rocks] along the Rur. Rurtal & the Eifel National Park are particularly attractive for hikers, mountain bikers/e-bikers and nature lovers.

There is no direct lake view (trees in front), but the wonderful viewpoint 'Zur Schönen Aussicht' can be reached in two minutes (100 m), where you can watch the stars undisturbed at night.

In this apartment with its own entrance you can feel completely comfortable. All floors are made of natural wood, the walls of clay brick, the room atmosphere very pleasant. On the southwest balcony you have a wonderful view over the wildly maintained property, the forest and the neighbor's fallow deer enclosure. Very quietly located apartment in a small but fine place. There is a small grocery store 250 meters away. 50 meters away is an MTB bike rental. Bicycles are of course available with and without support. The entrance to the Eifelsteig and Ruruferradweg are very close. Likewise, in the center of the village is a large playground built in 2019. In the village, there is a new very good restaurant. "Matthias im Gasthaus" It's worth a visit.
