Apartment renovated in 2022 at the sheltered end of the former village school. Apartment with kitchen-living room, open bedroom and bathroom. A sleeping place for four. Double bed in the bedroom and a sofa in the living room. The outdoor sauna is heated for an additional fee. The apartment is located in a quiet area, 8km from the center. The rest of the building is for the host's own use, with dogs and chickens strutting around on their side of the yard. In the yard there is room to stay and, for example, barbecue. It is also good for families with children.

The sauna interior features warm wooden benches arranged along the walls, with a stone-topped heater positioned at the side. Natural light filters through, creating a serene environment optimized for relaxation.

The house is great for family, sports, and work travel. Downtown Imatra 2.5 km. Lappeenranta 20 min 4 strip. A sheltered courtyard for cars and motorcycles. Saimaa and Ukonniemen-Rauhan sports areas with spas and several golf courses nearby. The main building of the Harjula space in the middle of apple trees, in the yard of a grain farm. The space was occupied by the family since 1950 after the grandfather evacuation has ended. In a lush and expansive yard, there is also another residential building where the host lives.

We stayed at Lotta's apartment for work. The home was in a beautiful location a short walk from the hospital. The sauna was lovely to relax and the place was atmospheric anyway. The beds were great!

We felt right at home as soon as we arrived—comfortable, cozy, and completely at ease. The apartment is spotless and has everything you could possibly need, including a sauna and HBO channel, which was a wonderful bonus! It's perfectly located near the city center, yet tucked away in a peaceful area with beautiful forest trails and stunning lake views. Sergey is an incredibly friendly and responsive host, and we really appreciated the flexibility with a later checkout. He even thought of our dog, providing bowls and a little treat—such a thoughtful touch! Thank you, Sergey, for a wonderful stay. We’d love to come back!

Juhani is amazing host! It was easy to communicate with him, and he was always helpful. Juhani provided pictures and instructions for every house room and check-in. You will have no issues with finding the apartment. The apartment was very clean, location is perfect for city center activities and also close to the train station. I recommend Juhani's place!

We've stayed a total of 8 times on the canal with a large group. It's easy to find, check-in at your own time is easy and hassle-free. The milieu is beautiful, in the best place to follow the seasons. The floor plan of the house is good. Bedrooms are upstairs and common areas downstairs. A larger group can sit at the large dining table. The living room can also accommodate a larger group. Iida always responds quickly, and it's easy to agree on things. Beautiful quiet retreat on a lush island. Everything you need to relax and enjoy your time is provided. There was even a midsummer traditional treat waiting for us. Satu is kind and responsive. She makes sure her guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. Highly recommend.
