We absolutely love this place. Our second visit didn’t disappoint and we will definitely be back. Literally everything provided, host quick to answer queries, local co op for anything you don’t take, stunning scenery, lovely walks and a fabulous hot tub to end the day. Just perfect 👌

We had a fantastic stay! The place had everything we needed—comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. It’s in a great location, close enough to the town centre, with a lovely local pub just a short walk away. Tom was a wonderful host—really welcoming and helpful throughout. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!

We loved the farmhouse, it was very spacious, the facilities were excellent, the hot tub was fab! Lovely garden with plenty of shade (were lucky with a hot weather weekend!) . Very good location for visiting Chester / Blue Planet Aquarium etc. We had local family joining us for a buffet lunch one day and there was plenty of crockery/ cutlery/ serving dishes etc. Ben was swift to respond to/sort out a couple of minor issues, and was very helpful. We would definitely like to come and stay again! Thank you!

Lynne is a lovely lady and her place is beautiful and peaceful my husband said it was the comfiest bed he had ever slept in. Stones throw from the beach everything you need in the local village and a walkable journey to the train station or drive to Liverpoool.or Southport so great location. The statues on the beach are breathtaking and we'll worth the stay just to see them. Highly Recommend

My son and I stayed at Dot’s Shepherd’s Hut over half-term, and saying we loved it would be an understatement. It’s the perfect base for exploring the hills - just step outside and you’re surrounded by breathtaking scenery. We especially enjoyed the outdoor fire in the evenings, toasting s’mores under the stars. Seeing the smile on his face made it worth every penny. If you’re looking to spend real quality time with your children and get them away from screens and PlayStations, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing property. We came here for our parents' joint 70th birthday and it was PERFECT. The games room, hottub and garden provided loads of entertainment for everyone. The views from the garden are amazing as well. Sophie and Lucy were super responsive and even went out to get a new BBQ for us when the existing one broke. Would definitely recommend and would come back in an instant

Perfect location for exploring the area. It is also within walking distance (less then 2 minutes) from the town centre where there are plenty of pubs and restaurants. The apartment overlooks a beautiful park and you'll get visited by the ducks in the morning. The got tub is a very welcome extra after a long day. The hosts are fantastic, easy to contact, any questions are answered quickly, comprehensive instructions and very friendly. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you'll need. Great value for money. We will be back

Would highly recommend - such a great property in a beautiful location. Extremely spacious - fab dining table and plenty of space to eat outside too. Just lovely! Host was very responsive and helpful.

As well as Woodpecker Barn being supremely comfortable, clean, and quiet with stunning views, Martin and Alison went out of their way to be helpful. Sadly we had to attend a funeral during our stay but they looked after our old collie dog for us while we did so, giving us complete peace of mind about our pooch and enabling us to focus on the event. Martin even offered us a lift into town to avoid parking issues and to get some goat's milk as I can't have cow's. They both really went above and beyond and I can't thank them enough. Woodpecker Barn was fabulous: clean, very comfortable with everything thought out so you didn't have to. The views are spectacular, the bed just right and everything you need was provided. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! Highly recommended and would love to stay again. The town of Llangollen was great too. Stunning riverside walk with lots of yummy eateries and things to do in the area. Superb.

Jennifer's farmhouse is an absolute jewel. It has the charm of a historic home, but it is also super cozy and peaceful. We enjoyed having fires in the evenings and watching the birds from the kitchen window in the mornings. It's easily drivable to many popular places in the area, or if you prefer to stay at the house and rest in the lovely gardens, that is a great option as well.

We had a lovely stay at the Annexe. it had everything we needed, we loved all the animals and I enjoyed sitting out on the little patio to chill out with my cuppa. The space was nice and homely so great to relax at the end of they day, beds were comfy and having tea/coffee and cereal etc was great. Communication was really good and really helpful with everything so I couldn't ask for more.

Heather (acting on behalf of Chris) was extremely helpful and responsive. We received clear instructions on how to work the heating and how to enter the property, as well as useful info on local amenities. The house has everything you’d need for a short or medium stay and the location is excellent for visiting central Manchester and the surrounding area. The garden is enclosed with a high fence, which made it perfect for our dog to play in. We also appreciated the dishwasher and washing machine and tumble dryer, which we were able to make use of. We couldn’t fault this property!

We stayed here for a wedding in New Mills and had a lovely stay. Andrew was responsive and informative. He gave clear instructions for check in and checking out. The house itself is clean and spacious with ample parking and a nice garden.

We had a lovely stay at this property, it’s located in a lovely part of Liverpool and is walking distance to the city centre so it’s a perfect location. The property was clean and had everything we needed. There was an issue with the key to get in and the owners resolved this really quickly for us, would definitely stay at this property again on my next trip to Liverpool.

Lovely two night stay with three generations of our family in a beautiful location . It’s a little isolated (that’s what we wanted and was as described ) but within an easy drive of all amenities. Excellent directions so easy to find. Helen has thought of everything with some lovely touches and supplies included. Looking forward to returning soon

Had a fantastic couple of nights at Lucas and Betty’s place whilst attending ComicCon at the Exhibition Centre. It is a lovely house and it is literally round the corner from the iconic Anfield stadium… luckily Liverpool were not playing at home this weekend 😅 Communication and instructions from Lucas and Betty were first class. It is only a 5-10 minute taxi ride into the heart of town. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Liverpool!

an idyllic location, with seating outside to enjoy the valley. Beautiful gardens, walks straight from the front door. hosts friendly and welcoming. house is immaculate and comfortable. would recommend - Gales in Llangollen for a meal. - bearded men activity for canoeing over the aquaduct. professional and good sense of humour. - chirk Castle and walk

A quality place and Sue provided everything and more. Would highly recommend. If you are looking for a stay in this area Sue’s place is hard to beat. Loved it.

It is indeed a tiny house but it contained everything we needed for our short stay. The garden, views and birdsong are a really welcome bonus in such a busy area. Susan is a friendly, interesting host and we enjoyed meeting her; we would be very happy to return.

We had a lovely night in the cabin, Su was flexible with check in. Cabin was lovely as was The Swan Inn, just up the road

Really enjoyed our stay here for 2 nights. Margaret was helpful with local information before we checked in and had a clear check in process. She was flexible on our arrival time and showed us around the bungalow when we got there. There were plenty of amenities including milk bread and butter. There is also a lovely garden that felt private to us. The bungalow was perfect for bringing a 3 year old - safe, amenities, toys and separate bedroom. We would definitely stay again if visiting chester.

Where to begin! We had a fantastic stay in Manchester at the Boutique Penthouse. From the beginning, Warren had great communication and was incredibly responsive and friendly. We particularly appreciated the local food and drink recommendations. The apartment was simply beautiful!! It’s in a great location and was easy to find (particularly with the thorough instructions Warren provided). It’s located above a very lively street, with plenty of fabulous little shops, bars, and cafés. The penthouse location creates a quiet little oasis to relax after a busy day exploring. The kitchen and living room space is beautifully presented, and incredibly inviting. We felt right at home! The master bedroom is no different, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom is absolutely stunning, and is reminiscent of a 5 star spa. Warren truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, with plenty of special little touches along the way. We would book again without hesitation!

Sarah's cottage is rather unique ... it is a mix and match of the olden golden and the new modern. My husband and I had a very comfortable week's stay. The location left us speechless ... a few minutes walk to the centre of town (and the Walls) with every conceivable requirement at hand .... the furthest one had to walk for grocery shopping was the 15 min walk to Waitrose and the closest was a 4 minute walk to M&S FoodHall. And, there is a tap brewery one minute away, around the corner. Our sleep was comfortable and the heating was perfect. The neighbours are friendly and the area is quiet. We wish we had time to go through all the wonderful books in every room. The artefacts around the cottage make one feel immediately at home. We would definitely recommend Sarah's cottage in Chester! And would look forward to another stay in the future. :-)
