We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

Great stay in the house. The host was quick to respond when there was an error message on the pool and he came quickly to the place and fixed it. Lovely heated pool. Quiet and calm area with short distance to the sea.

Incredibly nice home, with beautiful details. It's shown that this home belongs to a family with a sense of aesthetics. Well decorated with everything one might desire. Comfortable heated pool, with beautiful outdoor area. Nice and welcoming host. Large rich center nearby. The only thing we missed was the possibility of cooling off bedrooms. Highly recommended.

Lovely, modern clean house with large patio. Great gym/house!. Great with a pool! (Patio is on the backside of the house and nicely sheltered from nearby houses). The house was ok for 7 guests but the bathroom for the Master bedroom, on the ground floor, was a bit inaccessible for the other 5 people. Bathroom and toilet on the 2nd floor had to be used by the other 5. There were a few people in between but went well. The kitchen has most of what you need. Empty, clean and tidy fridge. Good beds and duvets (clean linens were on beds when we arrived :-) ). Superb TV room for children/adult on the 1. floor. Good hiking opportunities right at the house, as well as a football field. House is located on a hill from main road. Grocery store max 5 min by car. Good parking with easy electric charging. Some distance from "shopping", restaurant and sea. Should have a car. Cozy house. Would recommend! The owner responds quickly if any questions.

A beautiful house which worked perfectly for our family of 7. Freshly renovated to a high standard. Kids loved the pool and it was great to have the ability to have a boat docked at the house. Amazing view. All in all a great experience.

Great host, great stay, exceeded expectations. We were really happy with the place, it had plenty of room and beds for our guests. There is room for 2-3 cars at front, could not hear any road noise so it was peaceful, plenty of bedding and everything felt clean and fresh. Kids loved using the trampoline and playing some of the many games that are around. Kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and everything you need. Iron and ironing board was handy as well as washing machine. Gym was a nice to have with TV whilst you work out. The host was really quick to respond when we had questions and they were very professional. Overall, we loved our stay here!

I really enjoyed my time in Maria Helen's beautiful apartment. It's very nicely furnished and i directly felt like home. There are good parking spaces and the area is very quiet and beautiful. The communication with Maria Helen was friendly all the time and she answered my questions quickly. I can definitely recommend this apartment.

Kaja hosted us in our home when we were going through a tough time. We had a very comfortable stay in our brand new house. It had all the facilities that we could think off. Our kids love it and we are always grateful to her and Torbjorn to make the place available for us in a short notice. We would highly recommend if someone would like to escape the city life. The views from the property were mesmerizing and I think anyone renting this property would have a great time.

Fantastic and well equipped cabin with many bedrooms. Lovely view over the Mylla water. Gunnar was very flexible and everything went very smoothly!

Quiet location, incredibly cozily furnished/partly nostalgic. In a few minutes by bus (and then by ferry to Oslo) and at the grocery store or down on the coast. Rushing stream on the premises.

We stayed at Petter’s place for a family trip with 4 adults and a baby. It was a lovely and peaceful spot with some woodland walks nearby. It’s also only 15 minute drive to the coastal town of Holmestrand. They have a pig and two dogs and the farm adjacent has several horses. There is a lodger living downstairs who kept to herself. The house was clean and tidy and nicely decorated, as per the photos. We didn’t meet Petter but he had good communication and was flexible in allowing us to check out slightly later. Many thanks!

Eskils house is beautiful and such a gem to find. We had a lovely stay as a family of 6 and it was the perfect size and very well equipped for us. The sea views from the windows are spectacular and it was really special to go swimming every morning in the sea from the beach at the bottom of the garden. Fantastic outdoor spaces to sit and eat/hang out too. Eskil himself was very helpful and flexible host and made our stay very easy! 100% recommend this place :)

Kine!!! I have no words to describe how kind and helpful you are to us throughout our stay. We felt like we are in our home. Arguably one of the top 3 host I’ve ever had on Airbnb. We had a fantastic stay in the idyllic surroundings of beautiful Vollen! The home was perfect for both work and relaxation, with wide views of the sea and the marina. We truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the close connection to nature. Everything was set up for a stress-free and comfortable stay – a big thank you to Truls, who was a wonderful host and made sure everything worked smoothly from start to finish. Fast and stable internet made it easy to work efficiently, and all the practical details were thoughtfully in place. Private parking right by the house was also a big plus and made logistics simple. In addition, options for public transport was easily accessible, a short walk to the bus or an efficient boat service directly from Vollen to Aker Brygge in Oslo – practical and enjoyable. Thank you for a lovely place and a great experience – we’d be happy to return!

We were in the property with a large group and were a little unsure at first as only unfurnished images were uploaded. But after a very accommodating communication we visited the place and it was really great! Location is perfect for a weekend with friends by the sea. Hauk was really nice and showed us everything and recommended great beaches nearby. We will be happy to come back.

We had a lovely stay at this place. The house was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and couch. The view was absolutely incredible, we got to see the fjord right from the property, which was a real highlight. Anna Sofie was very kind and friendly, which made the experience even better. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place!

It is a great family home, with all amenities, you can find everything needed for the kitchen as well. We had a great time in hot tub and house is beautiful. Located in small village, 5min drive to the lake. Loved this place, would definitely consider coming back in a summer time too.
