We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

Great stay in the house. The host was quick to respond when there was an error message on the pool and he came quickly to the place and fixed it. Lovely heated pool. Quiet and calm area with short distance to the sea.

Tip top house and perfect location if you attend the Flint Cup.

Lovely, modern clean house with large patio. Great gym/house!. Great with a pool! (Patio is on the backside of the house and nicely sheltered from nearby houses). The house was ok for 7 guests but the bathroom for the Master bedroom, on the ground floor, was a bit inaccessible for the other 5 people. Bathroom and toilet on the 2nd floor had to be used by the other 5. There were a few people in between but went well. The kitchen has most of what you need. Empty, clean and tidy fridge. Good beds and duvets (clean linens were on beds when we arrived :-) ). Superb TV room for children/adult on the 1. floor. Good hiking opportunities right at the house, as well as a football field. House is located on a hill from main road. Grocery store max 5 min by car. Good parking with easy electric charging. Some distance from "shopping", restaurant and sea. Should have a car. Cozy house. Would recommend! The owner responds quickly if any questions.

A beautiful house which worked perfectly for our family of 7. Freshly renovated to a high standard. Kids loved the pool and it was great to have the ability to have a boat docked at the house. Amazing view. All in all a great experience.

Great host, great stay, exceeded expectations. We were really happy with the place, it had plenty of room and beds for our guests. There is room for 2-3 cars at front, could not hear any road noise so it was peaceful, plenty of bedding and everything felt clean and fresh. Kids loved using the trampoline and playing some of the many games that are around. Kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and everything you need. Iron and ironing board was handy as well as washing machine. Gym was a nice to have with TV whilst you work out. The host was really quick to respond when we had questions and they were very professional. Overall, we loved our stay here!

We had a fantastic, beautiful weekend in Hege's house and garden. Everything went smoothly from booking to checkout. Great communication throughout. Hege was very nice and welcomed us with cake and coffee when we arrived. The house is very cozy and the garden and the garden house are a pearl without equal! Beautiful area and within walking distance to Horten city center and the beach promenade, as well as 15 minutes driving distance to beautiful Åsgårdstrand. Thank you for a 10 out of 10 stay!

Beautiful place with amazing view of Oslo fjord. I decided to choose this place to enjoy the view and Scandinavian atmosphere of the property with friends. And was quite satisfied. The place is very interesting and cozy, and you can look out the window for hours. The owner of Gard is responsive, with a good sense of humor and went to meet us when we needed it. Quiet location, incredibly cozily furnished/partly nostalgic. In a few minutes by bus (and then by ferry to Oslo) and at the grocery store or down on the coast. Rushing stream on the premises.

We had a wonderful stay at Julia’s place. The house is beautifully designed, spotless, and feels just like home. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and BBQs, and our kids loved exploring the nearby forest and relaxing by the bonfire. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway and scenic hikes. Sadly, the weather kept us from using the kayak and SUP, but we still had a great time. Highly recommended!

Our time at this unique Airbnb place was just fantastic! We were particularly impressed by the dartboard and the picturesque, secluded private bay – a real insider tip. With three canoes and complete equipment, we were able to fully enjoy nature. The location was wonderfully quiet, perfect for switching off, and the lovingly renovated house from the 18th Century exuded a very special charm. A highlight was the warm and family welcome by our host Ingar, who spoiled us with his hospitality and care. We will definitely be back – an absolute recommendation!

I really enjoyed my time in Maria Helen's beautiful apartment. It's very nicely furnished and i directly felt like home. There are good parking spaces and the area is very quiet and beautiful. The communication with Maria Helen was friendly all the time and she answered my questions quickly. I can definitely recommend this apartment.

Kaja hosted us in our home when we were going through a tough time. We had a very comfortable stay in our brand new house. It had all the facilities that we could think off. Our kids love it and we are always grateful to her and Torbjorn to make the place available for us in a short notice. We would highly recommend if someone would like to escape the city life. The views from the property were mesmerizing and I think anyone renting this property would have a great time.

Henrik is an awesome host. He is very friendly, helpful and quick in response. The house is very cozy, big and super clean. You can enjoy an awesome view on the water from almost every window and balcony. Moreover the house is perfect equiped and the area around is silent and offers lots of nature, hiking trails and a small beachfront. I can highly recommend to stay there!!

We had a fantastic stay in the idyllic surroundings of beautiful Vollen! The home was perfect for both work and relaxation, with wide views of the sea and the marina. We truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the close connection to nature. Everything was set up for a stress-free and comfortable stay – a big thank you to Truls, who was a wonderful host and made sure everything worked smoothly from start to finish. Fast and stable internet made it easy to work efficiently, and all the practical details were thoughtfully in place. Private parking right by the house was also a big plus and made logistics simple. In addition, options for public transport was easily accessible, a short walk to the bus or an efficient boat service directly from Vollen to Aker Brygge in Oslo – practical and enjoyable. It is a great family home, with all amenities, you can find everything needed for the kitchen as well. We had a great time in hot tub and house is beautiful. Located in small village, 5min drive to the lake. Loved this place, would definitely consider coming back in a summer time too.
