Cottage vacation rentals in Royal Tunbridge Wells

we stayed over the bank holiday whilst visiting family. fantastic and cosy cottage which suited us perfectly! the cottage was clean, warm and exactly as described. we will definitely be staying again when we next come to visit family. we accidentally left behind some glasses and Naomi was extremely fast to let us know and offered to post them which we were extremely appreciative off.

Larissas garden is absolutely beautiful, the pool and hot tub were fantastic. My daughters and dog absolutely loved having so much space in the garden to run about. The barn is gorgeous, has all amenities and is with a couple of minutes walk from a great pub.

We had a lovely week in Plantagenet and really cannot recommend it enough; the cottage really exceeded our expectations. The garden is phenomenal. It was a private and tranquil escape and our collie thoroughly enjoyed doing laps of the large garden despite the rainy weather. We loved it from the moment we arrived and didn't want to leave. The cottage is well equipped, has a great cosy ambiance with lots of indoor and outdoor game options no matter what the weather. The communication with Tim&Maite was friendly and responsive, we particularly appreciated the slightly late check out. We are hoping to book again soon with more of our family joining us.

A lovely modern cottage, exactly as described and photographed. It was well kitted out and essentials were provided. The bed was super comfortable but just a gentle note that if you have any mobility issues the apex of the roof means that you cannot stand up straight around the bed and the bed is low but this was not a problem on our stay. Helena and Philip were both really friendly and helpful. My personal favourite touch was when Philip invited me to pick some roses from the cottage garden to take inside. The hot tub was a real treat but please be mindful that you are in someone’s back garden so not completely secluded if they are enjoying their own space. Highly recommend, we would definitely go back.

What a beautiful cottage! Exactly like on the photos, very charming. Surroundings are stunning, hot tub was a treat. The kitchen is very well equipped with anything you might need. Beds were comfortable and cozy. The conservatory was great to just sit and play board games and have lovely meals, was nice and warm and toastie in there and the views!! Pauline’s communication and response times were excellent, very friendly and accommodating. All I would suggest, if possible is perhaps to think of some sort of covers/shelter from the cold/wind by the hot tub. It was very windy and we still wanted to enjoy the hot tub, but it got very cold whilst inside. Some sort of coverings will work a treat. Pauline suggested some great pubs and things to do in the area. All and all my friends and I had a lovely stay. Thanks Pauline!

wow what a find, the main attraction for us was the peaceful setting, the open views from the decking area was beautiful, I'm the worst person for relaxing, believe me I relaxed, the swimming pool and hot tub was gorgeous, definitely going to go back, great hosts, great accommodation, beautiful location. From start to finish, this place is an absolute dream. So peaceful and relaxing, it was the perfect little weekend getaway. The house and surroundings were absolutely spotless, the ducks were adorable, and the attention to detail with providing extras needed for comfort was superb. Clare was a fantastic host. Always responsive but never intrusive. If you're looking for somewhere to stay for a few days or more with your partner - or just on your own - where you can recharge your batteries, this is it.

Chris's cottage was a truly wonderful find, and we'd love to come back! It was thoughtfully equipped with literally everything you could imagine needing for a comfortable stay. The fantastic amenities like the pool and gym provided perfect entertainment, especially on those inevitable rainy days. Plus, the location was absolutely ideal for exploring local hiking trails. We found the cottage to be impeccably clean, peaceful, beautifully maintained, and wonderfully quiet. If I had to offer a couple of minor points for improvement, blackout blinds in both bedrooms would be a fantastic addition, as it got quite bright from 4 am. Additionally, it might be helpful to clearly state in the listing that baby swim classes are held in the pool three times a week. While this didn't bother us at all (we have a baby too!), it was unexpected, and some guests might appreciate knowing in advance.

Such a tranquil, beautiful setting with views of the rolling countryside and woodland walks on the doorstep. Inside, Little House is akin to a boutique hotel with a standalone roll-top bath and lots of thoughtful touches such as flowers from the garden and local apple juice. I stayed at Little House as part of recovery from a major surgery and couldn’t have asked for anywhere more perfect!

Pretty, cosy cottage in a small nest of converted, wood-clad farm buildings off the beaten track in deepest Sussex. Compact-but-cute bedrooms, attractive living area with sofas and well-equipped kitchen, small gardens front and rear. Local pubs a short drive away. Communication was excellent and speedy. Nettle Fields exceeded our (already high) expectations. The barn design, is very cool. Windows and magnificent glass doors in every room allow the beauty of the outside to blend with the clean lines and calmness inside. It’s an incredible space which felt both tranquil and homely. The interior was immaculate, stylish, creative and high quality throughout. Our hosts, Michael and Toby were excellent and attentive. They were available promptly and were so kind and considerate. This is the best place we’ve stayed in and I cannot recommend it enough. I would give 6 stars if available.

I can't say enough good things about my time at Lulu's cottage. It was so intentionally and thoughtfully decorated and cared for. A truly unique and calm getaway just a short drive from London. The Kent Downs are gorgeous to explore and there is tons to do in the area (or just a short drive away). Really...we just wanted to spend time inside, cooking and relaxing. From the french doors out to the backyard, to the copper tub, to the most ultimate kitchen of my dreams, thank you for the environment you've created for your guests. It gave us an experience we won't soon forget! Lulu was very attentive and available for whatever we needed. She also gave me the knitting pattern for the bathmats in the cottage ;) Thanks Lulu! We hope to be back soon.

Third visit to the Piggery, it's private, quiet and exactly what I want for me & my dog - which is why I go back and intend to go back again.

Lovely stay during half term. Great homely feel. All the amenities you need, lovely kitchen and outside space. Host was fab, very friendly ans great recommendations.

Absolutely loved our stay at Claire’s place! The location is fantastic — super convenient and close to everything we needed. The space was spotless and really well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to use, with all the cutlery and appliances clearly thought through. The bathroom had a high-end finish that gave it a real luxury feel. Would definitely stay here again — highly recommend!

Wonderful little house, beautifully renovated, in a corner of heaven. the garden is idyllic, the horse and chickens have been the great attraction of our kids and the home produced honey was a treat! My husband is very tall and managed not to hit his head, he had to avoid the kitchen ;). Beds were comfortable and the shower perfect. ann was extremely responsive and accommodating. We loved staying in a place where the host lives, cares about it and can talk to us. It's a perfect place to visit Seven sisters and many other attractions.

We had a wonderful stay at Castle Cottage. The cottage was clean, generally as described and very homely. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and found so much to do locally during our stay. We would thoroughly recommend! Thank you Fiona!

pebbles is a real hidden gem and we loved it. caught bus to Rye which was beautiful and quaint, lovely places to eat. Caught bus to Hastings which is lovely too, especially old town, good food here as well . Lisa 's place was lovely, peaceful and really relaxing. Spent time also on Pett Level beach, thanks Lisa for the beach towels, much appreciated. Lisa was a great host and very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again .

Judith is a fantastic host. Very communicative and friendly with plenty of recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble and made sure I felt very much at home. Lovely cottage and well decorated. Very comfortable indeed.

Our second stay at Victoria’s was just as comfortable as last time - a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and good bathrooms. It is also ideal for anyone with mobility issues given the spacious layout all on one floor. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow much time in the garden, but that can’t be helped! A nearby Morrisons is handy for basic shopping, with a large Lidl not far away. 30 mins by car to Glyndebourne. We would certainly recommend the Barn and hope to return ourselves again in future. Oh yes, and we enjoyed the welcome cake!

Michelle was there to meet us and was extremely helpful pointing out places to visit and also the best places to eat in the locality. The property is set down a quiet lane in lovely countryside. Inside everything was spotless and it’s impossible to fault anything. We would have no hesitation in returning. Thank you Michelle for a lovely stay.

Beautiful cottage, which has been lovingly refurbished to add modern features whilst retaining lots of character making it very homely. The wet room is large and well designed making for a delightful shower experience! On road parking right outside the cottage is very handy. Christina was very welcoming and met us on arrival with some freshly baked bread and other goodies. As we are vegan, Christina left us some vegan biscuits and milk, which was a nice touch. Overall, a beautiful experience and we wouldn’t hesitate in returning in the future. Thank you!
