Dog Friendly, Cosy, Peaceful, Walks, Peak District

AlexandraRating, 5 stars2 days ago
whoaw. What an incredible place to stay. Stunning cottage in an absolutely gorgeous setting with easy acces to many walks and places to visit. Spotlessly clean and a fully equipped kitchen with top-notch equipment with extra bonus of fridge and freezer. Jasper our dog was very well looked after and even Paula looked after him whilst we visited Chatsworth house. I loved the alpacas and their cute little voices. This little gem is a must if you vist the Peak District. one of the best if not the best Air B and B. we stayed in and we have been to many. Thanks Paula and Rob for looking after us. We didn't want to leave.

Two Gates Cottage Self Catering

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Chris and Jenny are fantastic hosts. The cottage is in a beautiful village and a short distance from so many picturesque locations. The cottage is easy to find and is absolutely immaculate with everything you need for a fantastic stay. It was perfect for us as a family. We were not ready to come home and will certainly be in touch with Chris and Jenny to organise a further stay in the future.

Quintessential Cottage in the Heart of Bakewell

JanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The cottage was perfect for our needs especially in terms of its location so close to town. There is very limited parking and limited outside space so may not suit everyone but it was fine for us. Kitchen was very well appointed. One single room is in fact a curtained off space next to the sitting room so not ideal when others are tramping through but could be useful especially for a single person with some mobility issues as the staircase to the upstairs is very old and a little steep. There is a downstairs bathroom too. All very cosy and full of character.

Central Bakewell Quiet Luxury

MarionRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The house was beautiful, and if possible exceeded our expectations. We were blessed with weather much better than that predicted, and were therefore able to take advantage of the close proximity of the property to Bakewell town, the Monsal Trail and enjoy the views from the patio at the property. We look forward to visiting again.

Great stay at Karen's cottage, perfectly located to access loads of paths and bridleways. As a couple with a dog it ticked all the boxes. Fab views from the patio, spotlessly clean, highly recommended.

"Ye Old Shop"

GaryRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The cottage was lovely. Paul clearly has a lot of pride in his rental. The cottage is well appointed and homely. Very well equipped small kitchen. We enjoyed the decor, quirky. No problem with parking at any time we were there, we parked right outside. If you have the weather the garden and shed are definitely a place to chill out and enjoy a drink and snacks. Great bathroom, and a good shower. Great location. If you enjoy walking it’s all down hill to the pub. Thank you Paul.
