Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Roussillon

Wir sind für zwei Wochen mit zwei Hunden gereist und es war einfach perfekt. Der riesige Garten, die sehr gute ausgestattete Wohnung, das ließ alles keine Wünsche offen! Alles war blitzsauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die ganze Familie samt Hündin waren wundervoll! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Our stay with Marie and François in Ménerbes was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for and warmly welcomed. The property itself is beautifully rustic, with an understated charm that reflects its authenticity. The apartment, housed within the stone walls of a 12th-century structure, offered a unique experience, particularly for those with an appreciation for history. We were especially delighted by the presence of the resident cats in the garden, which added a warm and homely touch to the idyllic atmosphere. Dinner was of outstanding quality, and the breakfast, though light, was well suited to the setting and our expectations. We would highly recommend this location to anyone seeking peace, character, and a genuine connection with the Provençal way of life.

Bonjour Olga, Nous tenons à vous remercier chaleureusement pour notre séjour dans votre magnifique maison. En famille, nous avons passé un moment exceptionnel à célébrer l’anniversaire de nos enfants. La maison, avec son charme traditionnel, est spacieuse et parfaitement équipée, ce qui a rendu notre séjour très confortable. Les extérieurs sont vraiment superbes, avec de nombreuses petites terrasses où nous avons pu profiter du soleil et de la tranquillité. Le terrain de pétanque a été un coup de cœur pour tout le monde, un endroit parfait pour partager des moments conviviaux. Encore merci pour votre accueil chaleureux, nous garderons un très bon souvenir de cette escapade. Au plaisir de revenir !

The outside areas of the property are as comfortable as the inside. All the rooms are spacious and clean. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped for preparing meals. There is every piece of equipment you would need. There was plenty of hot water and the fire was a lovely addition for chilly evenings. There are also lots of kitchen supplies to get you started or bathroom necessities in case you forgotten anything. The garden isn't fenced but this didn’t cause us any issues with our dogs. The protection dogs across the road are secured behind fences and didnt cause us any problems. We found them very friendly once you'd be there for a couple of days. We would definitely recommend staying here, Valerie is delightful.

The place was exactly as wonderful as it looked on the photos. I loved the kitchen equipment and that there was lots of spare plates and cutlery. The pool was wonderful.

Pictures of the terrace can’t possibly reflect how fabulous it is. Same for the primary bathroom views. And it’s all very private. Parking is easier than we expected—5 min walk to public parking—buy a monthly pass for 20 Euros, and you’re all set (thanks to Rogier for giving us that tip!). Gordes provides easy access to all of the villages of Provence. Definitely a 5-star stay and a 5-star experience.

Merci beaucoup à Sophie de nous avoir permis de profiter de ce bel endroit ! Sophie est très accueillante, vraiment gentille… et surtout très compréhensive. Nous avons débarqué avec 3 enfants dont 2 bébés qui font leurs dents et pas leurs nuits et malgré les nombreux pleurs, elle nous a toujours rassuré sur le fait que l’on ne l’a pas déranger. La maison est vraiment dans un endroit calme et paisible et l’appartement et très correct avec tout le nécessaire pour un séjour très agréable. Et pour finir, le Luberon est vraiment magnifique. Nous avons passé un excellent moment et en avons plein les yeux!

We had a wonderful vacation in the Provence! Valerie's place is beautiful and set in one of the most beautiful and quiet villages in the region. It has great views and it made us feel really at home. The apartment has everything that we needed - it was clean, very cozy and tastefully furnished. Valerie was a great host - she gave us excellent recommendations about the local restaurants and we felt really welcomed there. We will definitely come back!

Vanessa was a wonderful host. Her instructions for finding the apartment were very clear. She also shared a list of great restaurant recommendations in the area. The apartment couldn’t be in a better location. 2 minutes away is Le Palais des papes, yet the apartment is incredibly quiet and peaceful. The space is excellent: modern conveniences with all of the history and charm you’d expect from Avignon! Thank you for a great stay, Vanessa.

Very nice stay at Marie’s place. Everything was exactly as mentioned in the advert. Really clean and comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. Lovely and quiet too. Would recommend.

The apartment design is wonderful as is its location on the top floor. The soothing colors and linen textiles make it feel luxurious! And the light and views are exceptional. There is a 1.5 hour loop walk you can do to Cadenet which we did each morning for coffee. Caroline is helpful and left welcome gifts we enjoyed. You can tell they have put their hearts into the place.

We loved our stay at Ju et Mag’s place! It is perfectly located in the heart of the village, close to lovely shops, restaurants and markets. L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue itself is close to many beautiful villages - our highlights were Oppède-Le-Vieux, Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt and Fontaine de Vaucluse, with a lovely sunset dinner at Maison Baleti. The apartment is spacious and quiet, with a beautiful sunny terrace overlooking the canal, perfect for morning juice or coffee, yoga or just to sit and listen to the birds and running water of the Sorgue below. Self check in was easy, with clear instructions and prompt communication. It was well stocked with everything we needed to feel like home! Free parking close by (Parking du Stade). We would very happily stay again, thanks Ju et Mag!

Fabienne’s apartment was delightful with beautiful furniture and a great kitchen and amenities. Everything was of a very high quality, terrific shower and lovely area to relax. The building was lovely and we enjoyed our stay very much.

What an unusual and exciting little flat. The view across to the cathedral and the hills behind, with swifts flying around non-stop, was just extraordinary, and the perfect place to watch the fireworks on the Pentecost holiday; as well as being peacefully above the bustle of this ancient town. A unique setting.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal bei Olivier und Virginie und es soll auch nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein. Alles ist so , wie wir uns ein ideales Urlaubsquartier vorstellen. Olivier und Virginie sind freundliche, herzliche Menschen, bei denen man sich gut aufgehoben fühlt. Wir lieben die ruhige, ländliche Atmosphäre , unsere Gastgeber und ihre Tiere.

El’s place was so lovely—full of character and comfort. Walkable from the train and incredible restaurants and cafes. El was so kind and flexible. Would love to stay again!

Un bout de Paradis au milieu des vignes. Véronique et Pascal sont charmants et très discrets. Nous avons pu échanger avec eux sur leur passion et sur leurs Arts. Ils sont passionnants. Notre logement était parfait, tel la description. Les plafonds sont bas à l’étage mais comme indiqué dans la description pas de surprise. Une literie parfaite et une très jolie décoration apaisante. Je recommande vivement. Nous y retournerons je pense.

très bon accueil, Anne propose de lire "son" livre très poetique avec une illustration d'aquarelle faite également par elle. Elle nous fait découvrir sa région avec ses très jolis villages pittoresques. Un petit appartement très fonctionnel, reposant, à recommander.

Wir würden 10 Sterne vergeben, die Wohnung ist toll, die Lage der Vera da über dem Fluss, die Terrasse am Fluss gibt eine natürliche Klimatisierung an heissen Tagen, am Abend ist die Stimmung besonders gemütlich mit dem Plätschern des Flusses, den sich darin Spiegelungen Lichtern von Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. Im Herzen des viel besuchten Städtchens, wo abends die Ruhe einkehrt. Dann der bequemer Privatparkplatz und nachmittags unter den Platanen am Fluss im grossen Privatpark sitzen und ein Buch lesen. Wunderbar. Wir können die Wohnung unbedingt empfehlen. Denis war immer erreichbar und hat uns den Checkin bestens ermöglicht und viele Tipps gegeben. Er ist sehr nett und seinen Gästen gegenüber aufgeschlossen. Danke Denis für alles!

Très belle appartement nous avons eu la chance de dormir sur un matelas neuf et excellent. Pleins de belles attentions petit gâteux bouteille d’eau gazeuse au frigo . La communication avec Philippe et Christine est top très réactif Nous conseillons

Wir haben eine Nacht in der Wohnung verbracht und können sie auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen! Vom Parkplatz aus sind es nur circa 5 Minuten Fußweg zur Wohnung, die direkt in der schönen Stadt liegt. Die Wohnung ist sauber und gut eingerichtet, die Betten sind auch sehr bequem. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Très bel appartement, nous sommes tombés sous son charme, décoré avec beaucoup de goût et très bien équipé, situé dans une résidence privée et sécurisée avec un beau parc bien entretenu avec la Sorgue à côté que du bonheur ! Le parking privé, un plus dans ce village très touristique ! Nous avons été sensibles par les délicates attentions laissées par Isabelle et Mathieu à notre arrivée. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement et y reviendrons avec plaisir !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans le logement proposé par Laurence et Philippe. L’appartement est spacieux, très propre et vraiment confortable – on s’y sent tout de suite bien. Laurence et Philippe nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et ont été très disponibles et arrangeants tout au long du séjour.
