Wonderful and lovely place !

Very friendly welcome from the host including a few welcome gifts from their own production. We felt right at home in the old mill and enjoyed our stay with the best and late summer weather including evening barbecue. Glad to have come across this somewhat extraordinary place and definitely recommend it

We spent five wonderful days in this accommodation and were completely satisfied! The location is ideal – quiet yet well connected, so you can easily explore the surroundings. The landlady was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. She provided us with great tips and made us feel welcome from the start. The cleanliness was impeccable – everything was fresh, tidy and very well maintained. You can tell that great importance is placed on hygiene and comfort here. The view from the accommodation was simply fantastic! Whether in the morning with coffee or in the evening to relax – the view made our stay even more special. The property itself is tastefully decorated and offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. It is cozy, functional and designed with a lot of love for detail. We can highly recommend this place and would come back anytime!

The house is very well located near all the areas to visit in the center of the Black Forest. Well soundproofed but needs a good set-up since it is quite old and we needed a microwave at the kitchen and a wifi network, which today is almost essential, plus mobile coverage there was almost non-existent. Overall, the experience was positive, the site is beautiful. We had a problem with the hot water and the kitchen and Stephan sent someone to fix it right away.

We had some cold days with rain during our week. That was also a reason to book this house. With nice weather, it is great to stay outside in the garden with the terraces and when it rains there is plenty to do inside with lots of space and freedom if you go with two families. Frank responds very quickly and friendly. Everything was clean. The description is what it is! There is plenty to do nearby and within an hour's drive through the beautiful Black Forest, there is plenty to do. Beautiful lakes, zoo, beautiful villages, cable cars to go up on the mountains. Very nice!

A great house for a wonderful weekend with friends. We were very pleased with everything. The great covered terrace was great, so we could sit outside even in cooler temperatures. A highlight was also the sauna and the hot tub.

the house was just what we wanted clean, comfortable, in a quiet place and within walking distance of a supermarket 5 mins walk, and the cafe am see a few minutes away also the center of schulchee 10 mins walk away. The hosts Jan & Tine were very responsive to any queries that we had, the only slight problem which for us but was not an issue, was with the TV runs of of an apple box and it wouldn't connect to the signal which was not a problem for us, the WiFi worked well other than that nothing everything was great. I would recommend staying here if you are on a hiking vacation like us it central to a lot of good hikes and varied scenery. a very good relaxing stay.
