This charming wee granite cottage is snuggled into the idyllic countryside in the shadow of the local landmark, Bennachie, a large hill range which dominates the landscape.

Central to many attractions and only a short drive to Inverurie, Turriff, Oldmeldrum and Huntly, take a drive and enjoy the countryside. Rothienorman provides you with a pub, a Chinese, a fantastic Coop and a Zero Waste shop for fresh produce supplied daily. Recently renovated, the space has been designed with comfort and style. Enjoy spotting the local wildlife from your doorstep, as well as the horses in the field right next door. We are 3 miles from Meldrum House and 5 miles from Barra Castle, it’s ideal wedding accommodation.

The Bothy at Durno - A cosy retreat in an ideal location for exploring North East Scotland. A converted steading - self built and part of a working farm, set amidst beautiful scenery and only a 10 minute drive from Inverurie, with onward road and rail links to Inverness, Aberdeen and beyond. Set in the shadows of the iconic Bennachie, The Bothy at Durno is an ideal place for business or leisure, where you will find a warm welcoming place to stay and explore bonnie Scotland.

Comfortable, dog-friendly steading conversion

Coshelly Steading is on the edge of Rothienorman, a village with a pub, a Chinese and an excellent Morrisons Daily shop, all about 10 minutes walk from the house. It is a newly converted steading, attached to our house and surrounded by fields. Plenty of parking, WiFi, TV etc. Dogs are welcome. There are mountains, the coast and many castles, all within easy driving distance and plenty of pleasant walks nearby. Free range eggs from our chickens, when they are in the mood.

Abbeylea Cottage at Morgan McVeighs

Stunning refurbished and re-equipped cosy cottage with spectacular views towards Bennachie. Electric central heating supplemented by feature wood burning stove. Modern kitchen with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Two bedrooms each with a double or two single beds. Wall mounted TV's in both bedrooms and sitting room. Free WiFi throughout. Clean bathroom with shower unit. Full length curtains across patio window and door. Outside patio area.

Autumn House (Cockmuircroft)

Cockmuircroft is set in farmland in rural Aberdeenshire 15 mins from the thriving town of Inverurie. Its elevated position offers unrivalled views of the five peaks of Bennachie and the ancient hill fort of Dunnydeer. The location is ideal for several local wedding venues : Logie House, Haddo House, Meldrum House, Pittodrie House, Lochter and more. The Moray Coast, golfing , walking , whisky tours , numerous castles and Royal Deeside are a pleasant drive away.

Pinewood cottage

Beautiful views from a great vantage point on Bennachie this rustic cottage is ideally located for hillwalking, sightseeing or simply getting away from it all. Only 10 minutes drive from Inverurie and a short walk over the hill from the pitodrie house hotel which offers luxury dining and a cozy bar. There is also a riding school nearby and of course all the walking trails are on your doorstep. We are pet friendly but the garden is not enclosed.

Large modern new build on the edge of Huntly, quiet area with family neighbours nearby. Great area for being close to the train station and not far from the town centre, a 10-15 minute walk. Large living room and open plan kitchen with tv area, WiFi and plenty parking. Outdoor hot tub, garden and decking area - brand new and photos to follow once finished. Perfect for a few nights!!

A true country break near Insch Aberdeenshire

You have the private annex of the farmhouse. You will have your own front door and patio doors leading to a small private outside area. Parking for 2 cars. This is a working farm unsuitable for partying. Children very welcome but some areas are unsuitable for small unsupervised children . Any other questions do not hesitate to contact me.
