This was a beautiful cabin and my family and I loved it! Cannot wait to come back

We had a lovely stay at Candice’s cabin! The place was well stocked with many essentials and some small luxuries like coffee and nice soaps. The furniture was comfortable, TV easy to use. We could not figure out how to make the upstairs windows stay open more than a centimetre and the AC wasn’t super effective so the cabin ended up being a bit warmer and stuffier than I would like, but that is my only complaint. The surrounding area is beautiful with lovely trees and birdsong. Would come back!

We were truly impressed by this charming and affordable cabin! It offers both privacy and lovely views of the lake. One of the standout features is the ability to bring along your furry friend, which is a huge bonus for pet lovers. The outdoor hot tubs, available for use around the clock, were an added bonus. The cabin is cozy, it is perfectly equipped for two adults and a medium-sized dog, ensuring a comfortable stay. The deck is ideal for barbecuing and soaking up the sunshine. Overall, we were very happy - it checked all the boxes for a memorable getaway!

Loved the location right by the lake. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Has everything you need. We enjoyed our time.

Grahame was a great host; responsive, friendly, and takes pride in his role. The cabin was quaint and the view was beautiful. I would recommend this place for families.

We had a wonderful weekend, the setting is beautiful and quiet, the view is amazing. Cabin was what we expected. It was easy to book amenities such as sauna and kayak on line. Lots of ice hiking nearby. Graham is very helpful and it is nice to have someone on-site.

Great stay at the whispering pine lodge! Family of 6. Oldest 14, youngest 6. We had a wonderful time. The hot tub and wood stove were top of the list! Gorgeous area! We were there in late winter, the kids had a great time exploring and loved the loft and projector. There is a corner store about 2 mins away, l With a small selection. We opted to also drive a bit farther to Marchand to another small store which were a bit less in price but less selection. Also was no restaurant near by during our stay, (owner of the small restaurant had knee surgery so is closed) the closest being about 30 mins away. Not a negative, just know before you go! We noticed only because we typically order to eat in and don’t prefer to drive too far. Stunning property I cannot recommend enough. If you want a place to take your breath away I believe this is it! Incredible decor and the love and care that has gone into it was lovely Thanks for the incredible stay! May come check it out in summer too!

The lodge was a perfect place for myself and friends to stay, it was very easy to check in and out, everything inside was clean and there’s alot of space. There’s kayaks and canoes to rent and they’re set up for you in the morning right on the docks that you can also swim right off of. Very reasonably priced and I’m sure I’ll be back!

Our small group truly enjoyed our stay at Blackbird island on LOTW. Alan was responsive leading up to the stay and welcoming while there. Everything we needed and wanted was available. While we typically choose a different adventure location each year, all agreed that we would consider a return to Blackbird Island

Ash’s place was a great fishing cabin for the 6 of us rustic off grid place to head quarter a fishing trip on the lake of the woods. Thank you Ash!

We have stayed at Hank’s several times and it is always fantastic! It is so cozy and inviting.

Ashley was an amazing host! We needed to make a last minute reservation and she was able to get us a cabin right away along with an early check in! The cabin was beautiful and right on the lake. We loved having access to mutiple boat landings and being able to have fires at night. Very cozy and quiet area. We plan on going back this winter and making it our new summer vacation spot!

Can’t say enough about this rustic cabin getaway. It’s located on beautiful lake. It was quiet and peaceful. Brant was an amazing host, and made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful couple of days. I highly recommend this little slice of heaven!

Very quiet, with a private beach.,we brought our own bost fishing was good within 1 mile of the camp.Closest town was a 20 minute boat ride,or 15 minutes by car. Property was as expected and as described . I would highly recommend if you are looking for a cabin in the woods with most modern conveniences including cellular service.

We had the best relaxing stay. The lakefront cabin was all I had hoped for. The Lake was amazing for swimming in and kayaking in. The cabin is rustic but clean and very nicely decorated. We hope to return again soon. Would highly recommend to friends.

Amazing views. The host was always responsive and was on the location. He was very accommodating and friendly. I’m glad I chose this place to stay but I wish I stayed longer.

Bowerbird Beach Camp is a special place—we just wrapped up our fourth year in a row and can’t wait for the next. This was our second staying time in Cabin #5. It’s the perfect spot for making lifelong family memories: our kid spent hours on the sandy beach, paddling around the lily pad, kayaking, and catching bass off the boat. The lake is so clear and calm, and the old-school fishing camp vibe gives it a rustic charm you won’t find anywhere else. The cabins are simple but have all the essentials. A few things we like to bring from home: plastic wrap, olive oil or cooking spray, and some extra paper towels or napkins. Otherwise, you’re all set for a relaxing stay. If you're looking for a place to unplug, reconnect, and soak in nature—this is it. See you next year, BBC!

Robyn was a great host and the cabin was excellent. My two staff went fishing as soon as they got settled and caught a fish right away. I would recommend to anyone.

The place was peaceful and the cabin was clean. We enjoyed the kayaks the most during our stay. The hosts were kind in answering the questions we had before our trip. We did not know how to set up the grill as it was our first time going on a group trip, they sent someone to come and help us. They accommodated us very well and made sure we are comfortable.

Looking forward to coming to stay another time in the near future.
